C13 Go Quickly!!
Lin Feng urgently needed rest at the moment and found himself unable to engage in much conversation with Chu Tianyi.
"Chu Tianyi, perhaps you should head back for now? We can discuss everything tomorrow morning. I'm just too exhausted today, is that okay?" Lin Feng suggested once more, earnestly hoping that Chu Tianyi would give him a break for the night.
Yet, upon hearing this, Chu Tianyi felt somewhat awkward. He and Lin Feng had been close brothers, standing by each other's side even during Lin Feng's toughest times, ready to defend him against any detractors. The thought that their relationship could be strained was something Chu Tianyi hadn't anticipated.
Chu Tianyi sat in silence, not uttering a word, nor making any indication that he intended to leave. He didn't feel the need to stay at the scene either; what he truly desired was an apology from Lin Feng, which was his main expectation.
Lin Feng, observing Chu Tianyi's demeanor, felt a pang of discomfort. He understood that Chu Tianyi's visit was likely meant as a congratulatory gesture. He was aware that his own actions might not have been entirely appropriate given their current situation.
In that moment, Lin Feng was at a loss for words. He was unsure of what to say to encourage Chu Tianyi to leave swiftly, which was what he most wanted to clarify.
"What's the matter? Chu Tianyi, do you think I've acted poorly, causing you some distress? If you believe I've done something wrong, please feel free to tell me at any time. But for now, all I can do is apologize. I genuinely need to rest tonight. Remember, I mentioned you can come and find me anytime after I wake up tomorrow morning. What else is there to discuss?"
Lin Feng fell silent, hoping that this would settle the matter and prevent any further issues.
"Do you realize how much you've hurt me? When no one else believed in you, I stood by you because I knew your strength would return one day. But now that you've just started to recover, you speak to me like this."
"Didn't you feel that you went a bit too far? I'm at a loss for what to say to you," Chu Tianyi said with an awkward laugh. He was filled with regret for his past actions, but what troubled him even more were the words he had just spoken.
"I'm truly sorry. I realize that my earlier remarks were excessive and had a negative impact on you, leaving you in a bad mood. I want to apologize for my behavior and assure you that it won't happen again. So, how about we meet up tonight?" Lin Feng proposed, looking at Chu Tianyi.
He was aware of how well Chu Tianyi treated him and he appreciated it deeply. That's why he wanted to spend the evening with Chu Tianyi, reflecting his current desires.
Chu Tianyi was deeply moved by Lin Feng's gesture. He hadn't expected that his casual words would resonate so strongly with Lin Feng, indicating the high regard in which he was held.
Chu Tianyi chuckled to himself, pleased by the high esteem Lin Feng had for him. It was a source of great comfort and satisfaction to him.
"It's wonderful to hear you say that, Lin Feng. I'm content just knowing you feel that way. I just wanted to check in on you. If you're too exhausted today, I can always come by tomorrow morning. After all, there's nothing urgent I need to discuss with you right now," Chu Tianyi said, deciding to step out.
He had no pressing matters to discuss with Lin Feng that day. Seeing Chu Tianyi leave quietly, Lin Feng smiled with joy, realizing his popularity in the area was quite strong and that, at least, he hadn't made many enemies. That was his intention from the start.
Lin Feng slept lightly that night, his first in the Otherworld, still adjusting to his new surroundings.
The following morning, as dawn broke, Lin Feng dashed out at top speed. He headed straight for the dance floor and was astonished to find everyone already practicing. It was a bit shocking to see people so active before the sun had fully risen.
This was a question he had never even considered before. Suddenly, he found himself at a loss for words, unsure of what was happening.
"I wanted to ask you all, what time do you start training every morning?" Lin Feng said with a slight smile, hoping to blend in and make good friends with the group. That was the most pressing question on his mind.
"We usually start training around three or four in the morning. Today, the bad weather made us a bit late. I hope you don't think we're too lazy for that," a few of the young men quickly responded to Lin Feng, smiling amiably.
They were worried Lin Feng might judge them for starting late. But when they revealed their early start time, Lin Feng was taken aback by their dedication, realizing his own efforts paled in comparison.
"Did I get up a little too late today?" Lin Feng asked them, a hint of uncertainty in his voice. He had a feeling he might have overslept. The group fell silent, not daring to respond.
