The armor chuckled wryly, "Well, you can't expect to come out unscathed after a beating. By the way, Long Zhen, have you been here since that incident?"

Long Zhen, the only one who could hear the armor, nodded. "What exactly happened back then? If I hadn't made a quick escape, I probably wouldn't be here. Who could have possibly killed him?"

Upon reaching the Ni Xia Sect, Xiao Feng handed Xianyu a Dao Crystal.

Xianyu attempted to refuse, but Xiao Feng interjected, "When I was at my lowest, you gave me the pill you had for your own breakthrough. If you don't accept this now, I'll stay right here and use it to ask your sect master for your hand in marriage. She's bound to say yes!"

Blushing, Xianyu playfully spat at him, accusing him of talking nonsense again.

The armor clarified, "No, it's merely the bare bones of it, not yet the true Overlord Armor Removal."

But this feat was already impressive! The armor left the thought unspoken.

On the other side, Xiao Feng coughed up blood, then asked in a raspy voice, "Senior, I've withstood the strike. What say you?"

"Hehehe, well done, indeed!" Lau Ruyan nodded, her smile broadening, "I never expected such a pleasant surprise! Those old-timers at the Mountain Sea Sect have completely overlooked your prodigious talent!"
