C16 I Am a Member of the Lewis Family in Kinranos!

The limited-edition Rolls Royce door swung open.

Flinn, clad in a golden silk tuxedo, gracefully descended from the vehicle.

All eyes were glued to him, unblinking.

Kasch's heart pounded in his chest.

Such a spectacle—surely no one in Lincrin could match it?

After stepping out, Flinn waved nonchalantly to the men in black.

They promptly retrieved an array of exquisitely wrapped gift boxes from the car.

Meanwhile, he strode through the gates of the Ramirez family estate.

Onlookers were stunned as the gifts were carried in, quickly forming a small mountain in the courtyard. And without even peeking inside, it was clear that the contents were of considerable value.

The wrapping paper alone, adorned with gold leaf and silver threads, could fetch tens of thousands of dollars if melted down.

Flinn's gaze fleetingly met Rollins', but upon seeing his subtle head shake, he averted his eyes.

Old Madame Ramirez trembled with nervous excitement.

What merit did the Ramirez family possess to attract such an illustrious figure?

She felt like a pilgrim in the presence of a deity, overwhelmed by Flinn's commanding aura and fighting the urge to kneel before him.

Flinn regarded her with a slight smile and said, "Old Madame, I've heard of your granddaughter Elena's engagement today. On behalf of the Lewis family from Kinranos, I've come to present some gifts."

"The Lewis family from Kinranos?" she echoed, incredulous.

Good heavens!

Who in the world didn't know of the Lewis family?

Their empire spanned the globe, a superlative dynasty that stood as a colossus even among the world's elite. In their homeland, they were akin to deities!

The combined wealth of Lincrin's families wouldn't hold a candle to the Lewis family's fortune—not even close to the value of a single finger.

Yet, the Lewis family had brought gifts to them?

The Ramirez family was a modest clan within Lincrin, while the Lewis family reigned supreme in Kinranos. The disparity between them was as vast as the sky from the earth.

In feudal times, the Ramirez family had served as retainers to the Lewis clan. But after Elder Ramirez was dismissed, he buried this secret deep within his heart.

Even Mrs. Lin herself, the matriarch of the family, was unaware that her own household had once served as servants to the esteemed Lin clan. Her three sons were equally in the dark about their past servitude.

Among the many gathered, only Flinn and Rollins were privy to this background. Thus, Grandma Ramirez was baffled as to why the Lewis family would bother to present gifts to her less distinguished family. How could they possibly take an interest in them?

Then, a thought struck her about Kasch. Could the Lewis family's visit be related to Young Mr. Perez? With this realization, her belief solidified.

Eyes sparkling with excitement, Grandma Ramirez turned to Kasch and asked, "Young Mr. Perez, are you really that close to the Lewis family?"

Kasch was puzzled. He didn't know anyone from such a prominent family, and it seemed neither did the Ramirez family. The situation was indeed odd. Why would they come bearing gifts if there was no connection?

Could it be his father knew the Lewis family? None of the others present seemed likely to have ties to the Lins. Perhaps it was indeed his father's influence. With this thought, Kasch felt a surge of elation.

Leaning in, he whispered to Grandma Ramirez, "To tell you the truth, my father does have a decent relationship with the Lewis family."

Grandma Ramirez was overjoyed. The prospect of a connection between the Perez and Lewis families meant that the Ramirez family's fortunes could rise dramatically, especially if Elena married into the Perez family.

Elena looked at Kasch with admiration, thinking to herself that he was truly exceptional, a phoenix among men.

Unaware of their quiet exchange, Flinn chimed in cheerfully, "Grandma Ramirez, don't just stand there. Let's open the gifts!"

The younger relatives eagerly pounced at the chance, tearing into the gift boxes.

"A limited edition Patek Philippe watch, worth millions!"

"My goodness, a Tiffany five-carat diamond ring, so large, so stunning!"

"And a complete set of Hermes Birkin bags in crocodile leather, worth millions altogether!"

"Not to mention Van Cleef & Arpels! These gifts must be worth tens of millions!"

Elena's eyes were glued to the Patek Philippe watch, her heart racing with desire.

She couldn't help but plead with Kasch, "Kasch, can I have this watch?"

Kasch hesitated, but considering the watch was a women's model and Flinn was present, he grandly gestured, "If you love it so much, then wear it."

Elena was ecstatic. She immediately unwrapped the box and slipped the watch, valued at no less than eight million, onto her wrist. She couldn't contain her excitement as she admired the timepiece on her wrist.

Her watch was worth more than all of her friends' watches put together. She must have made them incredibly jealous.

Old Madame Ramirez gazed at the Patek Philippe on Elena's wrist, feeling a twinge of envy herself. As the de facto leader of the Ramirez family, she often had to make appearances at high-end events. How prestigious it would be to sport a Patek Philippe on such occasions!

The moment she saw it, she had coveted the watch for herself. But to her surprise, her granddaughter had gotten to it first. Now that the watch adorned Elena's wrist, Old Madame Ramirez couldn't bring herself to ask for it.

So, with a forced chuckle, she turned to Flinn and said, "The younger generation hasn't seen much of the world; I hope you'll excuse their ignorance."

Flinn waved it off with a laugh, "No trouble at all."

Tracy glanced at Kasch, her eyes filled with envy, then at Rollins, feeling a lump in her throat. It was infuriating to compare the two. Both in their twenties, yet Kasch was already mingling with the influential Lewis family, while Rollins was just loafing around at home!

The disparity between them was like night and day!

At that moment, Rasul looked at Rollins with contempt and said, "Rollins, just look at Kasch, then take a good look at yourself. How can someone as worthless as you have the nerve to stay in our family as a matrilocal son-in-law? If I were you, I'd find a luxury car to crash into. At least then, Zoie would get some compensation money!"

Rollins let out a derisive laugh and remained silent. They were all so blind. Did they really think Flinn had come all this way for Kasch? Absolutely laughable!
