Edgar's expression was icy as he suddenly rose to his feet and delivered a fierce slap across James' face.

"Ungrateful son!"

The forceful slap left James reeling, his vision swimming with stars and blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. Clutching his face in shock, he looked on in bewilderment.
