C4 Cripple Her!!

"Who here is Mr. Myers? Fischer?"

Bradley's voice quivered as he spoke.

The onlookers were stunned. Director Burns, a man whose very footsteps could cause tremors in East Setania, was now visibly shaken, his voice betraying his panic!

It was then that Fischer spoke up, "That would be me."

Bradley hurried over, bowing deeply, and began, "Young..."

But before he could finish, Fischer interjected, "Director Burns, some matters are better discussed in private."

Bradley's fear intensified, causing him to shake all over.

Damn it, what a fool I've been! The young master's identity must be highly confidential, and I nearly blurted it out. If he holds me accountable, I'm done for!

Quickly adjusting his address, Bradley continued with utmost respect, "Mr. Myers, welcome to the Silver Club. If you would please follow me to my office, we can discuss matters further."

In that moment, Fischer realized how much his circumstances had changed.

Even the most revered figures in East Setania, perhaps even the entire world, would now cower before him like ants.

Bea was petrified, unable to accept the reality unfolding before her, yet it was undeniably happening right in front of her eyes.

What kind of clout does Fischer have to command such reverence from the top brass at the Silver Club?

I was just mocking him; surely he won't hold a grudge, will he?

With that thought, Bea quickly adopted a sycophantic demeanor and cooed to Fischer, "Having our esteemed Class Rep Zhou grace the Silver Club is a privilege, as well as a personal honor for this old classmate of yours. Please, come inside..."

She believed that a few flattering remarks might be enough for Fischer to overlook her earlier behavior.

But she had underestimated him, given their unpleasant past.

Upon hearing Bea's flattery, Bradley inquired with delight, "Olson, you're Mr. Myers's classmate?"

"Yes, absolutely!" Bea hastily confirmed, "Mr. Myers was our class president in college, and we've always been close!"

Bradley immediately announced, "Report to the CEO's office tomorrow. From now on, you'll be the HR manager at Silver Lake!"

The leap from team leader to HR manager at Silver Lake meant bypassing three levels and a salary increase of more than tenfold. Moreover, she would wield significant power over the staff's fate, placing her among the top executives.

Bea was so elated by the news that she nearly passed out.

It was then that Fischer interjected with a frosty tone, "Director Burns, are you aware of the nature of my relationship with Bea?"

Assuming Fischer was displeased with the arrangement, Bradley hastily offered, "If Mr. Myers is unhappy, then we can promote Olson straight to Vice President!"

To Bradley, Fischer was the sole proprietor of both the Silver Club and the entire Myers Group. If Fischer wanted Bea's position, Bradley believed he had no choice but to step aside.

However, Fischer suddenly revealed, "This Bea, she's been utterly contemptuous, insulting me just because I lacked a membership card. She's humiliated me, sought to have me thrown out, even instructing security to attack me. And now you want to promote her to Vice President? What's the meaning of this?"

A chill ran down Bradley's spine.

He had misjudged the situation...

His gaze at Bea turned to one of furious anger.

Without hesitation, he delivered a harsh slap to Bea's face, berating her, "You dare to cross Mr. Myers? Have you lost your mind? Do you have a death wish?"

The man once admired as a gentleman across East Setania had now stooped to striking a woman, all because of Fischer's influence.

Bea, trembling with fear, collapsed to her knees, bowing repeatedly as she sobbed, "Director Burns, Mr. Myers, I admit my fault, I truly do. I was the one who was dismissive. Please, I beg your forgiveness. I swear I'll never make that mistake again!"

Bradley was seething with anger. If Bea's reckless behavior had managed to offend Young Mr. Myers, his entire career could be at stake—all because of her foolishness!

In a fit of fury, he delivered a vicious kick to Bea, sending her sprawling several meters away. "You blind fool!" he bellowed. "Today, you're going to learn the cost of crossing Mr. Myers!"

He turned to the security guards and barked, "Beat her senseless! Mangle that surgically altered face of hers until she's unrecognizable! Spread the word across East Setania: anyone who hires her will be making an enemy of me, Bradley!"

Bea was petrified, pleading desperately, "Director Burns, I was wrong, please have mercy on me!"

Bradley's rage showed no signs of abating. "Now you realize your mistake? Where was this remorse before? Did you really think you could offend someone of Mr. Myers' stature? I'm already sparing you by not ending your life!"

In utter despair, Bea collapsed into tears, kneeling and crawling to Fischer, begging profusely, "Class Rep Zhou, please help me, I truly regret my actions! Have mercy on an old classmate..."

Fischer scoffed, "Bea, when you were ridiculing me, you never imagined it would come to this, did you?"

Tears and snot mingled on her face as Bea implored, "Class Rep Zhou, I was wrong. Please, I'm begging you to speak on my behalf. I'll never dare to do it again, I promise... Please..."

Fischer's response was icy, "Too late. You've brewed this bitter wine, now drink it to the last drop."

He then addressed Bradley with a stoic demeanor, "My wife was brought here by someone named Cornell. I need to find him, and I mean now!"

Bradley responded promptly, "Mr. Myers, this way, please!"

He then signaled to the security guard, "Don't hold back. Beat her mercilessly."

"Yes, Director Burns!" came the immediate reply.

The guards, not daring to defy Bradley, nodded and surged forward to restrain Bea. Her cries of agony filled the air, but Fischer paid her no mind as he followed Bradley into the Silver Club.

"Young Mr. Myers, I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience you've experienced," Bradley apologized profusely, his demeanor submissive as if he were a grandson seeking forgiveness from his elder.

From the moment they stepped into the Silver Club, Bradley had been incessantly offering his apologies to Fischer, who remained stoic and visibly irritated. "Take me to Cornell, now!" Fischer commanded with an icy tone.

Bradley hastily located the club's manager and after a brief interrogation, he informed Fischer, "Young Mr. Myers, they're on the ninth floor."

Fischer gave a curt nod and said, "Lead the way!"
