C4 Break Your Right Leg

The beauty salon's lobby fell into an eerie silence. Finn, who had been reveling in Blaine's misfortune, collapsed onto the floor, his face ghostly pale as if drained of all color.

Shock was etched into Eric's eyes as he stared at Blaine with terror. Blaine remained composed, yet to Eric, he seemed nothing short of a demon.

"This..." Mr. Fixit gasped, the chill of the moment seizing him. He knew Eric's reputation well.

In all of Wexham, few could match Eric's prowess. The idea of someone breaking his wrist with a single punch was nearly inconceivable.

Yet, here stood Blaine, a mere security guard, who had done just that.

"Blaine, you..." Zoe was at a loss, having never witnessed such violence. She gazed at Blaine, speechless and stunned.

Blaine's icy stare swept over the twelve thugs, sending shivers down their spines. Their weapons clattered to the ground, abandoned in their panic.

"We're leaving!" Eric commanded, feigning composure.

At his word, the twelve thugs bolted for the exit as if granted a reprieve.

"Did I say you could go?" Blaine's voice, cold as ice, stopped them dead in their tracks.

Even Eric, desperate to escape, found himself rooted to the spot, his gaze locked on Blaine with a mix of fear and confusion.

Blaine advanced on Finn, still crumpled on the ground. "Bastard, if I ever see you again, I'll break your right leg," he warned.

Finn's memory flashed back to Blaine's earlier threat, and in terror, he scrambled toward the exit. But it was too late.

With a chilling snap, Blaine's right foot rose.

Finn's agonized screams filled the room as the twelve thugs looked on, shaking with fear.

Blaine turned his attention to Eric, who had lost all semblance of bravado. Fear was now the only thing reflected in his eyes.

"Blaine, don't," Zoe said urgently.

Blaine turned to look at her, sighed deeply, and then delivered a fierce slap to Eric's face. Eric's body flew through the air like a kite severed from its string, crashing heavily to the ground outside.

"Get lost, all of you! If I catch you again, I swear I'll break both your hands!" Blaine's voice was icy as he glared at the twelve thugs, his tone as chilling as a death knell from the devil himself.

At Blaine's command, the hooligans tripped over themselves to escape.

Finn, grimacing with pain in his right leg, desperately crawled towards the exit, but Blaine blocked his path. Extending his right hand, Blaine said calmly, "Pay up."

Finn quickly pulled out his wallet and handed over all the cash to Blaine.

Zoe suddenly began to retch. The metallic scent of blood in the air was clearly too much for her to handle.

Noticing the vomit staining her clothes, Blaine pocketed the cash and approached Zoe with concern.

Meanwhile, Mr. Fixit lay on the ground, his face etched with shock. He had never imagined that this seemingly innocuous security guard could wield such fearsome power. Yet, Mr. Fixit also realized that Blaine was now in for trouble. Silas was well-known for his fierce protectiveness.

Blaine had quelled the disturbance with brute force, and while Zoe remained silent, Blaine could see her beautiful brows furrowed with worry.

Standing outside the beauty salon, Blaine lit a cheap cigarette. He hadn't wanted to get involved today; ever since Olivia's incident, he had been reluctant to use force. But the transformation his body underwent after practicing the Ghost Valley Immortal Cultivating Secret Technique had given him a glimmer of hope. Perhaps, if he ever encountered those people again, he might be able to defeat them.

The memory of the beautiful figure collapsing before him caused Blaine's hand, clutching the cigarette, to tremble.

As the beauty salon's employees filtered out, Blaine glanced inside. It was just seven o'clock, and it seemed Zoe had decided to close up shop early.

Zoe emerged from the office, now dressed in a crisp white short-sleeved shirt and sky-blue jeans, her feet adorned with white wedge sandals. Her ten toes, painted with bright red polish, peeked out enticingly.
