At the valley's entrance, a large swarm of Black-armored Mantises was under siege by two groups of combatants.

The valley itself was a labyrinth of turns, with beast packs occupying every clearing. Despite the early hour, the area was teeming with people.

It took some time, but they eventually stumbled upon a secluded spot, home to several dozen Black-armored Mantises.
