After releasing the Poisonous Ant King, Jiao Yuanju turned to his father and said, "Dad, could you stay indoors for the next couple of days? If there's any commotion outside, please don't worry about it."

Jiao Huai, who knew his son Yuanju better than anyone, furrowed his brow and inquired, "Yuanju, what's going on? Are you keeping something from me?"

Defiantly, Jiao Yuanju insisted, "No, you must trust me on this. I'm grown now, and there are challenges I need to confront on my own. Believe in your son and support me this time. I assure you, I'll return without a scratch!"

Hearing his son's words, Jiao Huai grasped the gravity of the situation. Jiao Yuanju had crossed someone they couldn't afford to cross!

"Perfect! With the earth ant tide, whoever comes will have to contend with them first!"

Before long, eight figures appeared at the entrance of the neighborhood, clearly heading straight for him.

When they spotted Jiao Yuanju waiting, their faces lit up with unexpected delight. With a cold edge to their voices, they said, "Kid, you're coming back to the Lang family with us. Don't bother resisting, or you'll have no one to blame but yourself if you end up crippled!"

Terror gripped them, their souls nearly fleeing their bodies. They spun around, desperate to escape.

The ants surged, overwhelming several men who fell, their screams of agony piercing the air.

It was Xie Ziyu's detached voice.

Jiao Yuanju hadn't expected Xie Ziyu to actually wait for him. Was she doing this as a way to repay him?

Indeed, at the next intersection, Xie Ziyu stood in silence, waiting.

Jiao Yuanju gestured from the taxi and said with a sense of resignation, "Get in!"

Once she was in the car, Xie Ziyu announced, "I know where your aunt is."
