"I stood in their way, refusing to let them demolish the orphanage, all for the sake of waiting for your return," she continued. "Jiangbei has changed so much over the years. Even West Cang Mountain is now a bustling area. If the orphanage is torn down, you might not even recognize the place when you return. That's why I've been holding them off. But now that you're back, it's no big deal to let them have the orphanage."
