C14 I'll Settle It!

Everyone arrived at the girls' dormitory, where Lin Yueer was nestled in Lee Momo's arms, softly weeping. She appeared extremely worn and haggard.

"Momo, is Yueer doing okay?" Wu Feng asked with a hint of concern as he looked at them.

Lee Momo let out a sigh and shook her head, her expression clearly indicating that Yueer was far from okay.

"Don't worry, nothing serious will happen. The Sky Blue Group may be domineering, but they wouldn't dare to be too brazen in the face of the law," Chen Feng said, trying to offer some reassurance.

Zhang Qi nodded in agreement, quickly chiming in, "Exactly. If they go too far, we'll just call the police and have them arrested."

"Stop it, you all just don't get it," Lin Yueer sighed, her demeanor towards Zhang Qi and the others softened from her previous hostility.

But Lin Yueer was right; Zhang Qi and the others were clueless. They didn't grasp the gravity of the situation. Against the Sky Blue Group, the police were powerless.

"Don't worry. I'll talk to my dad and see if he has any ideas for a solution," Wu Feng said.

"Yeah, we'll make some inquiries too. Everything will be fine," Lee Momo, Huang Yuyi, and Cai Ling all nodded in agreement. Each of them came from well-to-do families.

However, these were mere words of comfort for Lin Yueer. Deep down, they all knew that their connections were insignificant against the might of the Sky Blue Group.

"Rest assured, I'll take care of this. It'll be resolved soon," Xiao Hee said, looking at the haggard Lin Yueer with a calm resolve.

"You're here too?" Hearing the familiar voice, Lin Yueer immediately lifted her head, her eyes filled with a mix of shock and anger as she stared at Xiao Hee. "How can you have the nerve to face me after what happened? It's all your fault. If it hadn't been for you, I wouldn't have been in such a hurry to leave, and I wouldn't have ended up offending the Sky Blue Group. And yet you have the audacity to show up?"

"You think you have a solution? Hahaha, what a joke. Do you really think you're someone important? You're nothing but a loser in the eyes of the Sky Blue Group. You wouldn't stand a chance against them; even ten lives wouldn't be enough. And you still claim you can fix this? It's utterly laughable."

Lin Yueer couldn't help but sneer repeatedly. For some reason, the sight of Xiao Hee sent her emotions spiraling out of control, and she felt an overwhelming urge to berate him. She went so far as to blame him for everything, convinced that it was all Xiao Hee's fault. If it hadn't been for him, she wouldn't have lost her composure and certainly wouldn't have ended up slapping Lan Yuntian.

Upon hearing her words, Xiao Hee let out a silent sigh. "Damn, does she really think so little of me?" He had only wanted to help her out of a sense of guilt, but all he received in return was unending malice and mockery.

"Come on, Yueer, don't be like that. Xiao Hee came to visit because he cares about you. How can you speak about him in such a way?" Momo said with a sigh, trying to soothe the situation.

"His visit was out of kindness? I think he's just here to revel in my embarrassment, probably to get back at me for how I treated him at the bar yesterday. He's not here with good intentions. Just get rid of him; his presence is irritating me," Lin Yueer retorted with a cold huff.

Xiao Hee felt helpless. He had only reached out to help her because he felt guilty; after all, it was his involvement that led Lin Yueer to offend Lan Yuntian the day before. But if Lin Yueer so strongly preferred not to see him, he was ready to leave.

"Xiao Hee, I apologize. Yueer is actually a kind-hearted person; she's just a bit headstrong. And with the major incident that happened at her home today, it's understandable that she's not in the best of moods. Her tone might have been a bit sharp, but please don't take it to heart," Momo said apologetically to Xiao Hee.

"It's okay, I'm used to it," Xiao Hee replied with a slight smile, shrugging nonchalantly before taking his leave.

Wu Feng and Momo exchanged glances and sighed before hurrying back.

Meanwhile, in the dormitory, Lin Yueer was still visibly upset, grumbling non-stop and continuing to badmouth Xiao Hee. "I never want to see that loser again. If it weren't for him, none of this would have happened to our family..."

"Alright, alright, don't be upset anymore; that guy's gone."

Huang Yuyi watched her with a sense of resignation, gently patting her back to offer comfort.

"Right!"

Lin Yueer suddenly seemed to spark with hope, "Oh yes, I have a high school classmate named Chen Hao. His dad appears to have some powerful connections. Maybe he can help us out with this trouble..."

Lin Yueer was already dialing Chen Hao's number as she spoke.

Meanwhile, Wu Feng, Lee Momo, and the rest were reaching out to their own contacts—family and friends they believed could be influential—in hopes of seeking assistance.

At the same time, on his way back to the dorm, Xiao Hee too picked up his phone to make a call.

The phone was answered after just one ring, and a respectful voice greeted him, "Third Young Master, how can I assist you?"

"Mo Chen, I've lifted the ban a few days ago. I should be able to access my wealth and the family's resources now, right?"

Xiao Hee inquired in a measured tone.
