C2 Super Rich Second Generation

When Xiao Hee was with Zhang Qian, he never once mentioned that he was actually part of the Super Rich Second Generation. He had planned to surprise her on her birthday.

However, to his dismay, Zhang Qian left him for being poor, even going so far as to cheat on him right before his eyes.

"Zhang Qian, Zhang Qian, are you really that fond of money?"

Xiao Hee approached a European-style building in the city center.

Emblazoned across it were the words: Fengxing Bank!

Fengxing Bank was arguably the largest bank in Mutian City, frequented by the rich and powerful. Nearly all of its patrons were the city's elite.

Outside Fengxing Bank, a fleet of luxury cars was parked, the least expensive of which was worth over a million yuan, giving a clear indication of the clientele within.

People entering and exiting were clad in costly suits and designer labels, a stark contrast to Xiao Hee's modest attire.

In the past, Xiao Hee might have felt a sense of awe in front of this grand edifice.

But now, Xiao Hee's face showed no trace of fear. He held his head high, chest out, and strode confidently toward the entrance.

Yet, before he could enter, two security guards blocked his path, eyeing him with scorn.

"Off you go! What's this beggar doing here? Get out of the way!"

Xiao Hee let out a cold snort. Such was the world. During the three years his assets had been frozen, he'd encountered countless people like this.

Initially, such treatment would infuriate him; after all, he was Third Young Master Xiao of the prestigious Xiao Family. But throughout the three-year trial period, he was forbidden from accessing his wealth or leveraging any connections, a challenge set by his family.

Throughout the trial, regardless of the humiliation or injustice he faced, his family turned a blind eye, leading him to gradually accept this reality. Even when faced with humiliation, he simply smiled it off.

Perhaps this was the very purpose of the family's trial. Before enduring three years of hardship, he was an arrogant and entitled scion of wealth. But after the trials, he had gained a wealth of understanding, learned patience, and matured significantly.

Xiao Hee's gaze hardened, and a sly smile played at the corner of his mouth. "Who did you just call a beggar?"

"That would be you. Just look at the ragged clothes you're wearing. Do you really think you belong here? Why don't you take a good, hard look at yourself before you speak? I suggest you leave now, or we won't be responsible for what happens next!"

The security guard sneered with a look of utter contempt.

Hearing this, the other guard gestured dismissively, "If you want to get rough, be my guest. I'd rather not dirty my hands."

The two guards exchanged sarcastic grins.

Xiao Hee's face grew stern, and he retorted sharply, "Judging me like I'm beneath you, are you?"

At his words, the guards' faces turned to stone. "What did you just say?"

"I said," Xiao Hee's eyes flashed dangerously, "you're looking down on me like I'm less than you!"

Furious, the guards decided to take action against Xiao Hee. As they pulled out their batons and prepared to strike, one of them was suddenly sent flying with a punch, crashing into the glass door behind him, shattering it to pieces. Glass shards littered the ground.

"You... You dare to strike?"

The other guard was visibly shaken by the turn of events.

"It's more than just striking. I'm going to tear down your store!"

With a cold laugh, Xiao Hee delivered a punishing blow to the guard's midsection, sending him to his knees in agony.

Xiao Hee then grabbed the guard by the collar and hauled him into Fengxing Bank.

The disturbance had caught the attention of the bank's clientele. The wealthy patrons, adorned in their lavish attire, turned their gaze towards the commotion, their faces marked with confusion.

Upon seeing Xiao Hee, dressed in his plain attire, they couldn't hide their revulsion.

"What... What's going on here?"

The receptionist was completely taken aback. Fengxing Bank was a place of prestige; such scenes were unheard of!

"Fetch your manager for me, or I swear, I'll wreck this place!"

Xiao Hee regarded them with a chilly gaze.

Upon hearing his words, the receptionists scurried off to the office with haste.

Though they were clueless about the situation, it seemed only the manager could deal with the current predicament.

"Where did this mad dog come from, causing such a commotion? It's utterly disheartening!"

A wealthy woman adorned in gold and silver, draped in an opulent mink coat, raised her glasses and sneered at Xiao Hee with a look of revulsion.

While the others remained silent, their expressions clearly conveyed their distaste for Xiao Hee's actions.

Naturally, had today's disruptor been decked out in gold and silver, their attitudes would likely have done a complete turnaround.

Ultimately, it was Xiao Hee's shabby appearance that elicited their scorn.

Xiao Hee lifted his gaze to the lady, a smile playing on his lips as he steadily approached her.

"Stay away from me, you're repulsive!"

The lady snapped, eyeing him with displeasure.

Yet Xiao Hee, seemingly oblivious to her words, kept advancing until he stood before her and asked with a smile, "Who did you call a mad dog?"

"Didn't you hear me tell you to stay away? Someone help! Is there no one here? Get this mad dog out of here at once! Have we come to the point where any riff-raff can run amok here?"

The lady called out for assistance, but the security guards, though they encircled Xiao Hee, hesitated to come any closer—intimidated by the sight of two of their colleagues who had collapsed to the floor, motionless as if dead.

Slap!

A resounding slap rang out, and the lady tumbled to the ground, her glasses shattered, leaving a vivid red handprint on her cheek.

"You... you dare to strike me? You mad dog..."

She stared at Xiao Hee, dumbstruck, but before she could finish, another slap left a matching crimson mark on her other cheek.

"Who's the mad dog now?"

Xiao Hee's gaze was icy as he stared her down.

"You mad dog, do you have any idea who she is? She's Mrs. Qi of the Qi Family. You dare lay a hand on her? You must have a death wish, you wretched mad dog, you filthy beggar!"

Another woman, apparently an associate of the noble lady, gaped at Xiao Hee in astonishment, pointing and hurling insults at him.

"Smack!"

The sound of another resounding slap filled the air, and the woman who had spoken out was struck as well!

"Should anyone else wish to invite a slap, feel free to step forward at any time!"

Xiao Hee said with a smile, his eyes gliding over the assembled onlookers.
