"These are just trivial matters," Lin Yueer said, feeling a bit embarrassed by the praise.

"But who could this influential figure be, wielding so much power that even the Sky Blue Group has to tread carefully around them?"

Lee Momo couldn't help but be curious. In all of Mutian City, there were few who could stand unafraid of the Sky Blue Group's formidable reputation.

"Exactly, we're all eager to know which heavyweight your father managed to get in touch with. He has such connections, yet you've never mentioned them to us before."

"It looks like Yueer is just too modest. Despite having such powerful connections, she never really talks about them."

The group nodded in agreement.

"To be honest, I'm not entirely sure myself. Maybe I should ask my dad? I'm pretty sure he's the one who reached out to someone," Lin Yueer suggested.

Everyone was taken aback by her response. Even Lin Yueer herself didn't know who had come to the aid of their Yue Tian Corporation?

Without delay, Lin Yueer called her father, the CEO of Yue Tian Corporation, Lin Feng, and put the phone on speaker.

"Hello, Dad, I have a question. Do you know who helped our Yue Tian Corporation deal with the Sky Blue Group?" Lin Yueer inquired.

On the other end, Lin Feng's voice betrayed his bewilderment. "Actually, I'm not clear on that either. I've asked several friends, and they all denied involvement. I can't figure out who it was that lent a hand to our Yue Tian Corporation. By the way, Yueer, could it have been one of your friends who helped?"

Lin Yueer grew even more puzzled upon hearing this. She had assumed her father's network had made the difference, but apparently, that wasn't the case. And the friends she had approached were all too intimidated by the Sky Blue Group to offer any help.

"Anyway, we need to identify the person who assisted our Yue Tian Corporation. They've done us a great favor, and we must find a way to properly thank them," Lin Feng concluded before ending the call. In truth, after discovering that Lin Yueer had crossed the Sky Blue Group, he had been desperately reaching out to his contacts, hoping they could help resolve the crisis.

However, no matter who they approached, the mere mention of the Sky Blue Group had them shaking their heads like a rattle drum, completely unwilling to cross the powerful organization for his sake.

When faced with threats from the Sky Blue Group, he had agonized over the decision multiple times. Perhaps it would be better to send Lin Yueer to them rather than watch the Yue Tian Corporation crumble. When it came down to it, sacrificing just Lin Yueer seemed like a preferable choice. Clearly, he would opt for the latter.

It's fair to say that if Xiao Hee hadn't stepped in to assist, Lin Feng, backed into a corner, would have inevitably handed Lin Yueer over to the Yue Tian Corporation.

"It wasn't done by one of my father's friends."

After hanging up the phone, Lin Yueer's expression turned to one of confusion. She had assumed that the Sky Blue Group had come to apologize out of respect for her father's friend, but judging by her father's tone, he was just as clueless about who had lent them a helping hand.

"By the way, I remember hearing something about the City Lord of Mutian City visiting the Sky Blue Group this morning. Could he have been the one to intervene and stop them from targeting Yue Tian Corporation?" pondered one of Lin Yueer's friends.

"The City Lord of Mutian City? Yueer, you know someone that influential?"

"Exactly. It's no surprise that the Sky Blue Group would set aside their pride to offer an apology to Yue Tian Corporation."

"That's incredible, Yueer! Which of your friends pulled this off? You have to introduce us!"

The group buzzed with excitement, all eyes on Lin Yueer.

"I really don't know. I'll ask around," she replied, overwhelmed by their eagerness.

Lin Yueer reluctantly made calls to her friends, one after another, but each denied involvement. It seemed unlikely that many would dare to offend the Sky Blue Group on behalf of Lin Yueer.

"I've asked them, and none have claimed responsibility," Lin Yueer sighed, her spirits dampened. It was unexpectedly challenging to even thank her mysterious benefactor. Who could have secretly assisted them?

"No way, Yueer. Someone did your family such a huge favor, and you don't even know who it was?"

"Then you should use the process of elimination to narrow it down one by one. You're bound to find them eventually."

"Absolutely, if I were in your shoes, I'd use any method necessary to locate that person. Otherwise, I'd be tossing and turning all night."

Lin Yueer's friends each offered their advice.

"Alright, let's go with the process of elimination. Let's start by asking everyone here: did any of you contact the Mu Tian City Lord?"

Lin Yueer turned to her dorm mates, Lee Momo and the other two.

However, Lee Momo and the others just shook their heads. "I've already had my dad reach out to some of his friends for help, but as soon as they hear 'Sky Blue Group,' they back off. They're not just unwilling to help; they practically treat my dad like he's cursed."

"We're in the same boat."

Huang Yuyi and the other friend nodded in agreement. Although they didn't come from ordinary families and had exceptional connections, they were up against the Sky Blue Group and felt powerless.

Lin Yueer continued to question her friends, including Wu Feng, and even Chen Feng and Zhang Qi. Of course, it was just a formality; she didn't seriously consider that Chen Feng and Zhang Qi's backgrounds had any influence. After all, what kind of background could a couple of losers have?

Nevertheless, Lin Yueer still inquired with Chen Feng and Zhang Qi, but as for Xiao Hee, she didn't even glance his way, not even considering the possibility of his involvement.
