C29 Kill!!

Qin Feng's lips twisted into a cold sneer as he burst through the waterfall guarding the cave's entrance, catching up to Lin Kai, who was helplessly suspended in mid-air. With a vicious stomp, he sent Lin Kai crashing down.

"Argh!" Lin Kai's agonized scream echoed, mingled with the gruesome sound of snapping bones.

Qin Feng landed, standing over Lin Kai's battered body, and the impact sent a shudder of terror through the ground. Dust rose in clouds, and a web of cracks branched out in every direction.

A gentle breeze, a Qingfeng, wafted by, gradually bringing their silhouettes into sharp focus.

Lin Kai, coughing up blood, wore an expression of utter disbelief. His pupils shrank in horror, fixated on Qin Feng as if he were staring into the face of a demon.

Trapped beneath Qin Feng's foot, Lin Kai was reduced to nothing more than a lowly ant, completely at the mercy of an all-powerful emperor, with no means to resist.

"How can this be? How have you grown so strong? You were merely at Body Tempering level 6! What?! Impossible! How did you break through to Body Tempering level 8?!" Lin Kai's complexion turned ashen. In just two days, this man had skyrocketed by two entire levels?

Such a dramatic transformation defied even the wildest of expectations.

"Did you fully refine and absorb the Dragon Qi?!" Lin Kai's voice quivered with a mix of astonishment, bitterness, and jealousy.

He could think of no other explanation. After all, that Dragon Qi was supposed to be his prize!

"You're delusional," Qin Feng replied coolly, his eyes glinting with deadly purpose.

"I never imagined you'd manage to refine and absorb it so quickly," Lin Kai said, his laugh tinged with spite.

"Boy, you may be remarkable, but you've made a fatal error in provoking me. Do you know who I am? I am the Third Young Lord of the Celestial Snake Palace. If you dare harm me, the Celestial Snake Palace will pursue you to the ends of the earth!"

Lin Kai's voice thundered with desperation, invoking the fearsome reputation of the Celestial Snake Palace in a last-ditch effort to intimidate Qin Feng and save his own skin.

If he could just survive this encounter, he swore to himself, vengeance would be his.

Qin Feng gave Lin Kai a dismissive glance, a hint of murderous intent flickering in his eyes. "Hah, I didn't expect you to complete the assimilation so quickly," he said coolly.

But Qin Feng was no fool; he could easily see through Lin Kai's thoughts. By taking his opportunity, he had made an enemy of the Celestial Snake Palace. Letting Lin Kai go would only invite their bloody vengeance.

"So, what's it going to be? Let me go, and I won't trouble you," Lin Kai bargained.

"If you kill me, the Celestial Snake Palace will pursue you and your family to the ends of the earth!"

Lin Kai's face twisted into a cold smirk as he saw Qin Feng's hesitation. Surely, the kid wouldn't dare provoke a power as great as the Celestial Snake Palace.

"Hehe..." Qin Feng chuckled mockingly, a cruel smile playing on his lips as he slowly raised his right foot. It descended like a mountain plummeting from the sky.

"Ah!!!" Lin Kai's agonized scream reverberated through the uncultivated forest, startling the creatures within.

Qin Feng's foot had crushed Lin Kai's chest, blood gushing out like a burst pipe. "You brat, you actually dare to kill me!" Lin Kai's eyes were wide with fear and confusion. He hadn't expected Qin Feng to dare, knowing his background.

"So what if I kill you!" Qin Feng sneered, raising his foot again to crush Lin Kai's skull.

"You little mongrel, the Celestial Snake Palace will not rest until they've avenged me!" Lin Kai roared his last, as a wave of terrifying zhenqi rushed forth, extinguishing his life force for good.

"The Celestial Snake Palace? If they're so formidable, bring it on!" Qin Feng said coldly, looking down at Lin Kai's corpse with contempt. In his past life, he had encountered countless strong opponents; the Celestial Snake Palace was hardly a concern.

With a dismissive snort, Qin Feng knelt to sift through Lin Kai's possessions. As the Young Lord of the Celestial Snake Palace, he was sure to have some treasures on him.

"What's this?!" Qin Feng exclaimed as the Primordial True Dragon Technique zhenqi within him stirred, and an object appeared in his hand. "What in the world is this?!" A chill ran down his spine, a feeling both unfamiliar and exhilarating.
