C6 Unable to Afford It He Could Only Sell It
Liang Mu had resolved to immerse himself in the study of magic, opting out of Dumbledore's "chosen one" training exercises. By keeping his distance from Harry Porter, his experience would be akin to that of a typical student.
It was also apparent that the Players who had arrived with him would likely stick close to Harry Porter and his two companions, thereby steering clear of any potential complications.
The true treasures of Hogwarts were not the Magic Stone, but rather the vast knowledge within its library, Snape's extensive understanding of Magic Medicine, and Dumbledore's profound magical insights.
The key was to avoid drawing the attention of Hogwarts' most formidable figure, Headmaster Dumbledore—a man whose mastery of Legilimency was dangerously unparalleled.
Yet, evading Dumbledore's notice was next to impossible.
Given his current stats, Liang Mu stood no chance against Dumbledore's subtle Legilimency.
Massaging his forehead, Liang Mu inwardly lamented the unfamiliar sensation of vulnerability.
In light of this, he would need to devise alternative strategies for any encounters with Dumbledore, such as mastering the Brain Sealing Spell or experimenting with various potions and magical artifacts.
Currently, there were three potions on the table: two red and one blue.
The blue potion was dubbed Spirit Protection Liquid, a name Liang Mu had casually assigned. It was concocted following a recipe from "A Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi" by Phyllida Spore, combined with his own expertise, and required no incantations.
Item: Spirit Protection Liquid (Unverified)
Level: White
Type: Support Potion
Effect: Consuming this potion increases magic resistance by 10%. Effects do not stack.
Duration: 2 hours
Price: Not for trade
Origin: Harry Porter
Note: Player-crafted potions must be certified before they can be stored in the Storage Space and taken out of the Plane.
Note: Unverified items cannot be transported out of the Plane.
Note: Only Player-developed items and skills can be certified by Paradise.
Note: Unknown recipes can be sold to Paradise.
The two red potions were called the Water of Life and Death, a rather grandiose name for what was essentially a potent sleeping draught that rendered the user deathlike in slumber.
The potion was simple to make, and with the assistance of the Old Steward, it was easily certified, costing ten Game Coins per bottle.
The other bottle was the Water of Life and Death, purchased from Diagon Alley. Although it bore the same description, it lacked certification from Paradise.
Liang Mu had no intention of hoarding this simple recipe; he shared it quite liberally.
As a resident of Paradise's plane, Liang Mu was under the impression that he was always under surveillance. He was confident that the moment he finished the potion, Paradise would have already acquired the production method.
There were likely many similar potions available. Perhaps this recipe had long been known, and the hints were merely to incentivize players.
Liang Mu did reap some benefits, however. The reward of 500 Game Coins was so unexpected that he almost thought Paradise had taken on a new character. After selling a few more secret recipes, his balance soared to 2900 Game Coins.
Yet, Liang Mu was vexed by his inability to learn any spells from "Standard Spells – Beginner" and "Magic Theory," given his magic level of zero.
The following afternoon, Evelynn arrived punctually at Liang Mu's doorstep, dressed in professional attire. The sight of her striking figure even made the Old Steward swallow hard, proving that some things never age.
Like most contemporary wizards, Liang Mu's home was nestled in the Muggle world. Evelynn's familiarity with it was evident.
"Hello, Young Master Liang Mu."
Evelynn's greeting came with a beaming smile, and whether by design or accident, she exuded charm with her every move.
After complimenting the Old Steward's culinary skills with a satisfied wipe of his mouth, Liang Mu headed straight for his study, not sparing Evelynn a glance.
"Let's get started upon your arrival."
Evelynn, realizing that her usual tactics had no effect on Liang Mu, looked down at herself with a touch of melancholy. Was her approach no longer in vogue?
Four hours later, Evelynn emerged from Liang Mu's room, her eyes clouded with bewilderment, her heart quivering. She questioned whether her seven years at Hogwarts had been as fruitful as she thought.
Liang Mu had absorbed her knowledge voraciously, like a sponge, or more aptly, a leech, and she found herself powerless to stop him.
Reflecting on Liang Mu's earnest approach to his studies, the white light cast a serene glow on his composed, yet cold face. Despite the chill, there was a touch of tenderness in his eyes, brimming with a thirst for knowledge that tugged at her heartstrings.
To her surprise, her youth seemed to have slipped away. Sigh~ Tonight, I must delve deeper into divination. I can't afford to be at a loss for answers like today.
In contrast to Evelynn, who left the room with a demure air, Liang Mu sat in his chair, brows furrowed in contemplation as he studied the screen before him.

This ability was still quite useful, albeit...
Liang Mu took a quick glance at his panel.
Knock, knock, knock~
The sound of a gentle rapping at the door echoed.
"Young Master, Young Master Malfoy has arrived," announced the old steward from outside.
In the living room, a child with pale golden hair and fair skin sat on the sofa, impeccably dressed in a well-fitted suit, intently watching Tom and Jerry on the television.
It's a misconception to believe that Pure-blood families wholly shun Muggles and non-Pure-blood wizards. In truth, these families have thrived for centuries because they've adapted their own means of survival.
Many Pure-blood businesses collaborate with the Muggle world, employing numerous Muggle wizards in the Wizard Realm, and they have a particular fondness for Muggle inventions.
Take the Malfoy family, for instance; they own a modified Rolls-Royce capable of flight, a prized collectible of Lucius Malfoy.
Upon seeing Liang Mu descend the staircase, Malfoy sprang up from the sofa and hurried over.
"Hey, Liang Mu, you're finally down. Did Old Steward tell you I've been learning about divination?" he asked.
Liang Mu patted Malfoy's shoulder and nodded with a smile, "It's rather fascinating."
They settled back onto the sofa, and Liang Mu sipped the blueberry juice he had prepared earlier.
"I actually meant to tell you this yesterday, but I've been planning to host a small tea party and I've already invited some other Little Wizards," Malfoy shared.
Liang Mu listened to Malfoy's proposal and waited for a moment, expecting some sort of prompt from Paradise, but none came. He was inclined to decline the offer right away. After all, what could possibly be entertaining about a tea party with a bunch of eleven-year-olds? It seemed like it would be quite dull to Liang Mu.
However, catching a glimpse of Malfoy's hopeful expression and his relentless attempts to charm, Liang Mu decided it might be best not to refuse outright.
