C16 Wild Dance Fighting Club

Odin's gaze grew somber, yet he remained silent.

"Hehe, if I'm not mistaken, you must have launched an attack using your own psychic force. Only someone as oblivious as William could fail to see through your tactics and be outwitted by you," Coline said with a sneer, carelessly spitting out her bubblegum, her eyes full of disdain.

"In two days, you better watch closely. I'll show you how I'm going to take you down bit by bit!" Coline declared, not bothering to wait for Odin's response before leaping off the Battle Arena and exiting the venue.

Once she had left, Karna hopped onto the edge of the Battle Arena and crouched next to Odin.

"She's a well-known contender from the Wild Dance fighting club. Rumor has it she was trained by a disciple of someone who was in the running to lead the Wild Dance. Her strength is certainly not to be underestimated. It looks like you're going to face a tough opponent in two days," Karna said, giving Odin's shoulder a reassuring pat, encouraging him to give it his all.

Odin didn't respond to Karna's words. It was clear that Coline was a fighter of exceptional talent; otherwise, she wouldn't have been able to discern his use of psychic force during the match.

But what truly mattered to Odin wasn't this revelation; it was the prospect of defeating Coline in two days and the wealth of experience he would gain from it that excited him. After all, the more experience he had, the stronger his abilities would become. Even the same skill could be significantly enhanced with increased experience.

Over the next two days, Odin had to contend with numerous members from the various fighting clubs within the school. However, since these clubs were small and had few members, some of the fighters sent to compete were not even as skilled as Karna, posing no challenge to Odin whatsoever. He managed to defeat each opponent with ease.

As Odin's unwillingness to concede turned into a reputation that spread among the fighting clubs, his name became well-known throughout Ivywood University. Everyone was talking about the dark horse who had burst onto the scene in this year's fighting club rankings.

Odin had amassed a considerable amount of experience from these two days of competition. Though not as much as he would have gained from defeating William, he had still accumulated a solid 90 points of experience.

The two days flew by, and the day of the showdown between Odin and Coline had finally arrived.

This was more than just a contest between Odin and Coline; it was a clash between an obscure small club and the top fighting club at the school. If Odin were to win, the Ahalin Fighting Club's fame would become well-known throughout the entire campus.

"Hey, you made it," Coline said, lightly tapping her foot and flipping onto the stage with near-invisible speed, all the while chewing on her bubble gum that appeared to be strawberry-flavored.

"How else am I going to beat you?" Odin replied with a warm smile. After all, one mustn't be too rough when dealing with a lady.

"You're quite the cocky one. Soon you won't be able to talk from the beating!" Coline frowned, feeling an inexplicable irritation.

The stands were packed with spectators, all sitting quietly in their seats, not showing the one-sided support that was evident during William's match.

This was partly due to Odin's impressive performance in his last match, which had left the audience wavering and undecided. Yet, the betting odds displayed on the big screen were still in Coline's favor, with the majority of bets placed on her victory.

Coline glanced at the big screen and quipped, "See that? You're the underdog."

"It doesn't bother me. I've never been concerned with how others see me," Odin said, stepping back to secure a more stable stance, readying himself for Coline's anticipated initial onslaught.

Coline, standing beside him, drooped her eyelids and casually stretched her limbs, preparing for the match as they awaited the referee's signal.

"The third event, the fifth match! Coline versus Odin! Let the battle begin!"

As soon as the referee announced the start, Coline, just as Odin had predicted, soared into the air and landed a kick on Odin's right arm.

Odin adopted a defensive stance, leaning slightly forward to absorb most of the force from Coline's kick. Yet, his right arm tingled with numbness. He hadn't anticipated the frightening strength of a girl.

But Coline's terror wasn't just in her formidable strength; it was her agility as well. After landing that kick, she moved with such lightness around Odin, relentlessly striking and giving him no chance to recover.

Odin found himself in trouble as her punches and kicks, blurring into shadows, connected with his body one after another. He had lost the initiative and was now completely on the defensive, struggling to guard against her relentless assault.

Following her flurry of attacks, Coline shifted direction, darting to Odin's right rear. With a powerful lift of her leg, she unleashed a kick charged with the force of vital spirit and agility, warping the very air around them as it shifted direction.

Odin was startled and swiftly turned to evade the lethal kick.

Where Odin had just stood, a deep, scorched footprint with red edges marked the Battle Arena, emitting a faint scent of char.

"How do you like that move?" Coline asked, her lips curling into a triumphant grin. If she lacked even this level of strength, how could she expect to be taken on as an apprentice by the prospective leader of the Fighting Club?

"I underestimated you," Odin admitted, his brow split open from the recent flurry of blows, blood oozing from the wound.

The crowd's excitement surged once more, with half of them standing on their seats, waving their clothes and chanting, "Go Coline! Goddess, you're the best!"

Odin glanced at the animated spectators, spat out a mouthful of blood, and flashed a sly smile. "Hold on, the match is just getting started."

"In your dreams! It's already finished!" Coline retorted, crouching and springing forward like a predatory leopard, her body enveloped in a soft fiery glow. As she neared Odin, she leapt up and aimed a punch at the top of his head.

Odin remained still until the very last moment, when the punch threatened to shear off his hair. Then, with a swift roll, he maneuvered behind Coline, seized her airborne leg, and yanked it downward with force.

The combination of her falling momentum and Odin's strength sent Coline crashing to the floor uncontrollably.

Stunned by the abrupt turn of events, it took Coline a full five seconds to stagger back to her feet.

Renowned for her unmatched agility, she had never been outpaced by anyone, yet she hadn't even caught a glimpse of how Odin had circled behind her! The realization left Coline in disbelief.
