"A Kiltish mage is looking for Carol," Ortega informed Boldmir. He was with Kamila, Rudolf and Aeryn, at her house. Aeryn and Boldmir had arrived after a fast-paced, half-hour ride. She had gone to find the detective at the police station to tell him that something urgently required their attention. Boldmir, seeing the desperation on her face, dropped what he was doing to go with her.
