C6 This Is Your Cheat Right?

In the Nine Realms, there are countless cultivation methods. I can recall several Violet-level methods, but the Yellow-level ones are somewhat challenging for me to remember.

However, observing Jin Zhuo's technique, the Shadowmoon seems to be one of the superior Yellow-level methods.

Cultivators draw upon the spiritual energy of Heaven and Earth to power their methods, whereas Cyborgs, lacking the innate talent for cultivation, rely on Internal Energy.

The effects are similar, but the talent required for Cyborgs is somewhat higher.

A Cyborg who achieves great success would undoubtedly be more gifted than even a true genius if they were a cultivator.

Take Jin Zhuo's Shadowmoon, for instance. He can shape Internal Energy into a blade resembling a crescent moon, which seamlessly blends into the shadows during an attack.

It's akin to the moon that hides behind the sun during the day, ever-present yet unseen, a silent and stealthy weapon.

As a surprise attack technique, it's exceptionally effective, providing Jin Zhuo with a reliable means of defense.

Even though it's a Yellow-level method, Jin Zhuo's mastery makes it comparable to some incomplete lower Green-level methods.

Indeed, perfecting a single skill can lead to unexpected rewards.

After performing the technique in slow motion, Jin Zhuo retracted his Internal Energy and looked over at Faang Wei with a mix of nervousness and excitement.

He was eager to see if Faang Wei could actually replicate his martial skill.

"How does it look to you, Wei? Would you like me to demonstrate it again?" Jin Zhuo asked, fully aware that it had taken him two months to grasp the skill and nearly two years to become proficient.

If Faang Wei could grasp the essence of the skill so quickly, Jin Zhuo would consider him truly talented.

In response to Jin Zhuo's concern, Faang Wei simply smiled, a serene calmness in his eyes, and spoke with a rising voice, "No need."

With that, Faang Wei's gaze sharpened, and in a fraction of a second, his spiritual energy connected with the heaven and earth. It flowed through a unique meridian and swiftly formed an identical Shadowmoon in his hand.

He casually gestured toward the large tree ahead. Before the two bystanders could even get a clear look, the tree snapped cleanly in half.

The substantial trunk was severed at the waist, the cut so smooth it outdid Jin Zhuo's earlier strike in its precision.

The spectacle left the two onlookers wide-eyed in shock.

"...!!"

"...!!"

"Excellent, excellent, excellent!"

As Faang Zhengyi regained his composure, tears streamed down his face, growing more abundant as he clapped his hands in excitement.

The depth of the shock from the recent event was evident.

Incredible! Truly incredible!

"..."

Awakened by Faang Zhengyi's exclamation, Jin Zhuo stared at the tree, then at Faang Wei, his mind reeling.

"Wei... you couldn't have actually been possessed and reborn, could you? That's something only an ancient almighty could achieve!"

"..."

Faang Wei was taken aback. Before he could even begin to explain, Jin Zhuo's next move left him at a loss for words.

The man suddenly dropped to his knees and clung to his legs.

"Please, take me on as your disciple!"

"..."

Faang Wei squeezed his eyes shut, feeling a bit overwhelmed.

"Ahem, ahem!"

After a deep breath and clearing his throat, Faang Wei wriggled free from Jin Zhuo's grasp and clarified.

"I don't take on disciples, and I haven't been possessed. I..."

He stopped mid-sentence, feeling a prickling sensation on his back, his words leaving him feeling faint-hearted. He avoided eye contact and continued with an awkward chuckle.

"It was just a stroke of luck, nothing to worry about. I am still Faang Wei... still the same Faang Wei..."

His reassurance seemed to protest too much, betraying his concern that they might be suspicious. Yet, when he looked up at their expressions, he realized he had been worrying needlessly.

Both were so out of sync, it was no wonder they were good friends.

"Anything else? If not, I'll be on my way."

Feeling uneasy under their scrutiny, Faang Wei decided that the best course of action was to make a swift exit. Clearly, though, neither companion was inclined to let him slip away just yet.

Faang Zhengyi intercepted him with a beaming smile that was so intense it was almost unsettling.

"Um..."

Faang Wei instinctively recoiled.

"Can you just spit it out? I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat."

"Hehe!"

Zhengyi's smile remained as he scrutinized Faang Wei from head to toe, eventually fixing his gaze on the tiny hamster perched on Wei's shoulder.

A pair of mismatched green eyes locked in a stare-off.

After a moment, Zhengyi gasped in surprise and exclaimed,

"This isn't your secret weapon, is it? What kind of extraordinary spirit animal is this?"

"..."

Wei was at a loss for words, thinking to himself,

That's your son.

Clearly, Jumpy shared the sentiment, rolling its eyes dramatically before deciding to ignore the whole affair.

Zhengyi, feeling a bit sheepish, scratched his head and chuckled awkwardly.

"Quite a temper, quite a temper indeed!"

"Hehe..."

Wei simply laughed. He thought to himself that anyone would develop a temper with a father like that.

Can't you be a little more predictable?

Your thoughts are all over the place; even I, the Lord of the Nine Realms, can hardly keep up!

"What are you up to?"

As Wei was about to walk away, he turned around to find Jin Zhuo right behind him, nearly giving him a heart attack. Had he been quietly waiting there just to give him a scare?

"Can we just get to the point?"

Wei stepped back to put some distance between himself and Uncle Jin, feeling a bit too close for comfort.

He was definitely straight as an arrow!

But Jin Zhuo seemed oblivious to the awkwardness, firmly placing a hand on Wei's shoulder with a grave look.

"Brother... No, that's not right..."

"I've got our seniority mixed up..."

"Ahem..."

Seeing Jin Zhuo struggling to articulate his thoughts, Wei sensed impending danger.

Determined to preempt any trouble, Wei decided to take action.

With a swift smile, Jin Zhuo suddenly felt his grip loosen, and when he looked again, Wei had vanished without a trace, not even a shadow in sight.

Jin Zhuo slapped his thigh in frustration.

"Damn! He got away!"

"I hadn't even gotten to the point yet!"

"Seriously..."

"You don't have any point!"

Jin Zhuo was cut off mid-sentence by Faang Zhengyi, who rolled his eyes with more finesse than Jumpy could ever manage.

"Don't even think about dragging my son into this. If anything happens to him, I'll hold you, his uncle, accountable!"

"Pfft..."

Jin Zhuo sulked.

"Are you really being this stingy? He's your son, which makes him my nephew!"

"I would never harm him, I'm his uncle after all... It's just..."

"Hehehe!"

"I need him to do me a small favor."

"..."

Faang Zhengyi squinted his eyes, pondering the situation before asking.

"It's not that same issue again, is it?"

"You two still haven't settled it?"

"Oh man..."

Jin Zhuo sighed deeply, his tone filled with gravity.

"If only it were that easy to settle. That guy is so stubborn, it's impossible to get through to him. I was hoping Wei could help me make an impression!"

"What do you think? With Wei's abilities, it should be more than enough, right?"

"Come on, Wei even calls me Uncle Jin. As his brother, you wouldn't refuse to help me with this little favor, would you?"

"..."

Faang Zhengyi was at a loss for words, tempted to accuse Jin Zhuo of moral blackmail.

But if it was that issue, it really wasn't a big deal. He had been overprotective of Wei for years.

Now that Wei had the capability, it wouldn't hurt for him to gain some experience out there!

"Fine, I've got nothing more to add. Just remember, Wei is my son. He can call you uncle, but if anything goes wrong, you're on the hook!"

"Relax, I've got this!"

Jin Zhuo snapped a salute and dashed off, planning to fetch Faang Wei once everything was arranged.

This time, he was determined to give that guy a new perspective and see if he'd still dare to challenge him!
