The canyon Qing Ruoshui jumped into was very deep, but there was still water forming a small lake at the bottom of the canyon.

Standing at the edge of the canyon, one wouldn't be able to see the lake because their line of sight was blocked by the grass and branches growing from the canyon. However, if one flew around the world, one would be able to see this lake.
