C14 Yoctometer Robot(2)

Rewards include Advancement Rewards, Points Rewards, and Mission Rewards. Prizes consist of a corresponding number of yoctometer robots. The top prize is 100 million, with subsequent rewards increasing tenfold. The reward for combat techniques is ten times that of other subjects.

Bai Chengcheng let out a mournful howl, having thought that the learning tool his mother bestowed upon him would make becoming a top student a breeze. Yet, this so-called original ecosystem seemed to be a complete rip-off. "Are you serious? I have no desire to be a polymath. I've no interest in becoming a lawyer, politician, billionaire, general, or anything of the sort. What's with all this stuff about Sociology, Political Economy, Philosophy, Law, Psychology, History, Astronomy, Geography, and... What are these even about? Even if I split my brain into eight parts, my eight supercomputing brains couldn't possibly contain all this information. I refuse, I won't do it. I'd rather die than do it.

Pelia, what are the consequences if I don't learn all this?"

The interface displayed: "You cannot obtain the reward."

Out of fear for Bai Yaojin, Pelia dared not display the word 'eliminate'.

Bai Chengcheng breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, that's a relief. No reward, no problem. The miniature robot might be unique, but what do I need it for?"

The interface displayed the following functions of the miniature robot:

Firstly, defensive support. The yoctometer robots form an impenetrable protective layer over the host's body, shielding against blades and bullets. The reason the host survived a bullet to the torso unscathed was thanks to the yoctometer robots.

Secondly, offensive assistance. The yoctometer robots can morph into various cold weapons like needles, spikes, knives, and swords, catching enemies off guard and slicing through metal like butter. With a sufficient number of yoctometer robots and ample energy, they can transform into wings, gliders, exoskeletons, hovercraft, armor, mechs, firearms, tanks, battleships, space shuttles, space fortresses, and fortifications.

Thirdly, in-depth medical treatment. They are capable of healing both the host and others. The yoctometer robots can delve into cells to eradicate various lesions, viruses, and harmful bacteria. They can also alter and enhance genetic structures through molecular modification. Deep cosmetic treatments, disguises, weight loss, weight gain, and height adjustments are just some of the byproducts of these medical procedures.

Four, Enhanced Vision. Connecting the optic nerve is akin to gifting the host with an extra set of divine eyes, expanding their visual range (like a telescope) and resolution (high-definition). This capability includes photographing and recording (scanner function), detecting infrared and ultraviolet light (beyond visible spectrum detectors), night vision, x-ray vision, microscopic detail (microscope function), and the ability to discern the composition and structure of various materials with precision. It can also accurately detect internal flaws, such as metal fractures, and serve as a surveillance device.

Five, Enhanced Hearing. By linking with the auditory nerve, the range of detectable sound waves can be broadened to include ultrasonic and infrasonic frequencies. It amplifies the ability to perceive even the faintest of sounds and enhances clarity. This system also allows for recording and eavesdropping capabilities.

Six, Enhanced Combat Power. Similar to the concept of human vital energy, the yoctometer robots infuse themselves into the host's fists, arms, feet, and legs, boosting their strength, speed, and agility by anywhere from 2% to 200%. In contrast to an external exoskeleton, think of it as an internal skeletal reinforcement.

Seven, Domain Formation. The yoctometer robots disperse from the body, occupying the space around the host. Thanks to the fourth and fifth enhancements, they provide a level of awareness that misses nothing. Due to the second enhancement, these robots can morph into a variety of unexpected weapons at any moment, rendering them unstoppable. As the host's control improves and the number of yoctometer robots grows, this domain will expand accordingly.

Eight, Mechanical Processing. The robots can transform into precision hand tools for fine crafting, achieving a level of accuracy that surpasses current mechanical processing capabilities. The performance of the products they create, such as mechas, far exceeds that of their counterparts.

Nine, Supercomputing. The robots can assemble into a supercomputer to assist the host in processing vast amounts of information, and when connected to the network, they can aid in information gathering and cyber warfare.

Ten, Devouring. The robots can consume and plunder external energy and special materials, bolstering the host's physical strength and facilitating upgrades and advancements for the yoctometer robots.

"Wow, wow! This is like ascending to divinity!" Bai Chengcheng exclaimed, eyes sparkling with excitement and mouth agape in awe, "I want it, I want it, I want everything." His eagerness was comparable to a lifelong bachelor suddenly surrounded by a throng of enchanting women, all within reach, and among them, his long-admired ultimate goddess — the mecha.

Regardless of whether the system was overstating things, having the yoctometer robot meant he could become a master at mecha repair, design, and processing. Owning a mecha was no longer an unattainable dream. If the country wouldn't allow him to buy one, he could just build one himself.

Pelia doused his enthusiasm with a dose of reality:

"There's no such thing as a free lunch. You need to learn, train, and complete the mission first."

Bai Chengcheng felt as though he'd been yanked from the warmth of summer into the biting cold of winter, shivering as he faced the overwhelming list of books. It was like being tantalizingly close to a beautiful woman who had already shed most of her clothes, yet an insurmountable fold in space kept her just out of reach. To possess her, he would have to traverse a myriad of obstacles and face countless perils.

It wasn't surprising that Bai Chengcheng was daunted by the list. If those books were physical, they would fill an entire library.

"Is it even possible? Even a deity couldn't learn all these books," Bai Chengcheng grumbled in frustration. "Damn system, Pelia, I'm beginning to think you're a divine prankster sent to toy with me. You tempt me with this enormous, alluring pie, whispering, 'Come, complete the mission, and I'll make you a god.' But is this mission even achievable by a mortal? It's not fair, it's just not fair, it's incredibly unfair. I demand a reduction in the mission's difficulty."

The display read:

"Every significant endeavor requires calm. The host must delve into the branches of sociology, particularly psychology. Though the journey may seem daunting, and the end distant, each step brings its own rewards and pleasures. Please review the reward rules carefully. Hesitation will turn your dreams into perpetual fantasies."

Bai Chengcheng scoffed, "You're nothing but a deceitful witch." Yet, he couldn't help but revisit the reward rules with a serious eye. Was there a chance, however slim, of finding a shortcut?

The rules were straightforward. Rewards were categorized into promotion, points, and mission achievements. The prizes were a corresponding number of yoctometer robots. The top prize was ten thousand, with subsequent rewards increasing tenfold. Notably, the reward for combat skills was ten times that of other subjects.

Bai Chengcheng leapt to his feet, his body shaking with excitement. "Are you saying, are you saying there's a reward for every advancement in any subject? Hahaha, I've struck it rich! Bring it on! I'm fearless, unafraid of shattering to pieces, and I'll face a mountain of knives or a sea of fire as if they were mere trifles. What's a little hardship or challenge? I'll steamroll right through!"

Pelia snickered to herself, thinking him shameless. Who was it that was quaking in fear just a moment ago? Did you really think you could just learn a few simple things and earn a bunch of yoctometer robots? Hmph, just you wait. As soon as you embark on this journey, you'll 'surprisingly' discover that it's a one-way trip, and by the time you think of turning back, a century will have passed.
