C20 Nuwa Became a Saint(last part)

Nuwa's fingertip bled once more, her essence blood mingling with the newly formed humans.

And so it continued, one thousand, two thousand... ten thousand, twenty thousand...

At last, Nuwa ceased her work.

The Dao of Creation was complete, and Nuwa's powerful, commanding voice echoed throughout the vastness of the Primal Chaos.

"I, Saint Nuwa, have forged the Great Dao. Upon my ascension to sainthood, I established a race, henceforth known as Humanity!"

"Boom!"

The Primal Chaos trembled. Countless creatures were compelled to prostrate themselves, overwhelmed by the sanctity of the Creation Dao.

"Greetings, Saint Nvwa!"

Even those who had once received the Purple Qi of Hong Meng had no choice but to bow in reverence.

"Greetings, Saint Nvwa!"

Endless Virtue Auspicious Clouds materialized, a sign of the Heavenly Dao acknowledging Nuwa's sanctification, showering down Immeasurable Karma in celebration.

Nine parts of this Virtue graced Nuwa herself, while one part blessed the humans.

Nuwa's Dao of Creation was perfected through the founding of humanity, and this fledgling race naturally shared in the bestowed Virtue.

"I have carved out Empress Wa's Heaven within the 33 Layered Heavens of Chaos. I shall hold court and expound the Dao. All beings with destiny may come to hear!"

With a shimmer, a radiant clone emerged from Nuwa's brow.

"Greetings, Your Holiness!"

The radiant Nuwa offered her respects.

Fuxi, standing by Nuwa's side, was taken aback, recognizing this as Nuwa's Kind Corpse.

Nuwa offered a gentle smile. "Proceed to the 33 Layered Heavens of Chaos, establish Empress Wa's Heaven, and commence the teachings!"

"Yes!"

The Kind Corpse Nuwa bowed in response, then vanished in a flicker of light.

"Saint, what is this?"

Fuxi was dumbfounded, watching the Kind Corpse set out to teach. Could such a thing be done?

Nuwa, cloaked in the majesty of sainthood, let slip a mischievous grin that stirred a familiar warmth in Fuxi's heart. Little sister... Even in sainthood, she remained the same.

"Had it not been for the Dao Ancestor's counsel that a saint must anchor the chaos with a temple of the Dao, I would never have bothered with this Empress Wa's Heaven. Utterly tedious!"

"I'll miss my big brother so much. It'll make me sad," lamented Goddess Nvwa, the newly anointed saint, playfully licking her lips. It was clear her longing for Zhang Yan was not just for his company, but also for the meals he prepared that she couldn't bear to leave behind.

"Let's head home, so big brother can see his little sister has ascended to sainthood!"

With a graceful gesture, Nvwa and Fuxi vanished, only to have a Red Embroidery Ball appear and gather the newly created humans before disappearing into the void once more.

Nvwa's crisp voice echoed faintly through the emptiness. "Oh dear, I nearly forgot to take the humans back to Buzhou Mountain, so big brother can look after them."

Such is the might of a saint, able to traverse the vast universe in a mere thought.

At the mid-slope courtyard of Buzhou Mountain, Nvwa and Fuxi materialized amidst a swirl of spatial waves.

A Red Embroidery Ball sailed through the sky, swiftly secured by Nvwa.

The human race had been settled near the base of Buzhou Mountain.

"Big brother!"

Nvwa called out even before crossing the threshold, and almost instantly, Zhang Yan's irked voice responded from within.

"What is it?"

As Nvwa and Fuxi stepped into the courtyard, Kun Peng's eyes snapped open, his expression one of astonishment upon seeing Nvwa.

"You... You've become a saint?!"

He had only experienced such a divine presence and overwhelming aura once before, in the Purple Heaven Palace.

With a modest smile, Nvwa radiated the poise of a saint, "I was fortunate."

But becoming a saint is far from mere luck.

Kun Peng's mind raced with admiration, and he bowed deeply in respect.

"I pay my respects to Saint Nvwa."

"Hmm," Nvwa acknowledged with a nod, while Fuxi, intrigued, inquired,

"Weren't you aware of the saint's proclamation throughout the wilderness?"

Kun Peng, taken aback, shook his head in silence. He had been meditating with his eyes closed, oblivious to the saintly aura.

"This courtyard is extraordinary," Nvwa said with a smile, her eyes twinkling like the cosmos itself, dazzlingly brilliant.

"It's a transcendence beyond even that of a saint, as if it doesn't belong to this era at all."

"Even now that I've attained sainthood, I can't penetrate the mysteries of this courtyard, nor can I sense my elder brother!"

Nuwa's words, tinged with a hint of wistfulness, struck a chord of fear not only in Kun Peng but also in Fuxi.

They had believed that becoming a saint would put them on par with Zhang Yan, yet now it seemed they could barely glimpse his shadow.

How far along the path of cultivation had their eldest brother traveled? Fuxi sighed, recognizing that having such a remarkable elder brother was both inspiring and daunting.

Kun Peng, reeling from his astonishment, stole a glance at the battered axe in the corner, a sudden realization sending a shiver down his spine.

After Nuwa and Fuxi's reflections, they noticed Zhang Yan had been absent for quite some time. Curious, they walked into the inner room and couldn't help but chuckle at the sight before them: Zhang Yan sprawled on the bed, the very picture of despair.

He was still not sober.

Nuwa chuckled, "So, our elder brother can't hold his liquor?"

Fuxi grinned in response.

Zhang Yan shot a glare at the little girl delighting in his misery but remained silent.

In that moment, an unspoken bond seemed to draw the three of them closer.

To Nuwa and Fuxi, Zhang Yan had always been shrouded in mystery, seemingly capable of anything.

His strength was such that he could capture Kun Peng with ease, his wisdom profound enough to foresee the secrets of saints.

Despite Zhang Yan's approachable demeanor, Nuwa and Fuxi had always felt he was out of reach, perched high above them.

Even as a saint herself, Nuwa lacked the confidence to truly approach their esteemed elder brother.

Yet, witnessing his drunken vulnerability, Nuwa and Fuxi glimpsed a more relatable side of him.

"Elder brother, time to get up!" Nuwa's eyes twinkled mischievously as she reached out to rouse Zhang Yan. "The Human Race has emerged. Shall we go have a look?"

Zhang Yan lay there, too listless to even open his eyes, unresponsive to Nuwa's tugging.

Nuwa's face was alight with amusement, but inwardly she marveled at her own strength; having ascended to sainthood, she could move mountains and part seas with ease, let alone lift a person.

Yet, the formidable power of such a saint seemed to lose its efficacy in the presence of her elder brother.

"The emergence of the human race? Then it's even more imperative that we avoid it—it's far too perilous."

Zhang Yan shook his head deliberately.

"Why?" Nuwa inquired, her curiosity piqued. Fuxi, standing beside her, turned his attention to the conversation.

Having spent so much time alongside his elder brother, Fuxi had come to understand one principle: he must commit to memory every word his elder brother uttered, for one never knew when it might prove useful.

"After all, the Human Race is the sacred Dao Fruit of Saint Nvwa. Do you believe those beings, not yet saints but endowed with the Primordial Purple Qi, wouldn't seize the opportunity to spy on the path to sainthood?"

"Yes," Nuwa acknowledged quietly, while Fuxi interjected. It wasn't just those individuals; from the very moment Nuwa created the human race and ascended to sainthood, he, as her elder brother, had already contemplated their potential.

"Patience is key. The human race is currently too feeble. Only after the assembly of saints and the resolution of the Wizard Demon war will they be worthy of the title 'protagonists of heaven and earth.'"

Zhang Yan spoke with a nonchalant air.

Nuwa was on the verge of responding when her gaze shifted, her face taking on an expression of wonder, and Fuxi too looked on in astonishment.

"Elder brother, do we have a visitor?"
