C11 Creating an Srank Ninjutsu

In the blink of an eye, Russell had already spent three months at Ninja School. Today, the school was closed for a special occasion: Minato's appointment as the new Hokage.

With the entire village watching, Minato, clad in the Godly Imperial Robe, commenced his speech. Russell, however, wasn't listening. His eyes were busy scanning the crowd for any cards he might be able to collect.

Suddenly, he locked eyes with a chilling gaze—it was Orochimaru. After a brief glance at Russell and then at Minato, who was mid-speech, Orochimaru slipped away quietly.

"Minato has become the Yondaime Hokage; Orochimaru's defection can't be far behind now," Russell mused, watching Orochimaru's retreating figure with a twinge of regret. He wished he could prevent the impending betrayal, but lacking the strength, he had no choice but to let it go.

The day wore on, and with Minato's official ascension to Yondaime Hokage, Russell's status in the village rose significantly.

Post-ceremony, life for Russell settled back into a routine of Ninja School by day and home by night. Meanwhile, his "Ninja Break Spheres" began flying off the shelves, earning him millions of taels each month from Konoha's sales alone. As the book reached the Land of Fire and beyond, he anticipated even greater profits.

Beyond his literary success, Russell's thoughts turned to his Space Talent. He aimed to create a portable space, much like those found in fantasy novels. The idea was sparked by Kushina, who had once sealed the Nine-Tails within her own body, confining it in a dark, separate space. Clearly a distinct realm, the Nine-Tails appeared as a fox, not merely as chakra.

Kushina's space, however, was not yet perfected, unable to accommodate physical objects. Inspired, Russell set out to learn sealing techniques from her. Despite his efforts, he soon realized his aptitude for sealing was lacking; he hadn't mastered a single technique. Ironically, in the process, he stumbled upon several different sealing techniques.

From that point forward, every study session had Russell asking Kushina to demonstrate her techniques repeatedly, allowing him to collect the cards she dropped.

It took a full year, but after witnessing Kushina's demonstrations tens of thousands of times, Russell mastered most of the sealing techniques. Only then did he begin to create his own personal space.

The first step was choosing the location for this space. Kushina and the future Uzumaki had sealed the Nine-Tails in the belly button area.

After careful consideration, Russell opted to set his seal on the palm of his right hand for easy access.

With Kushina's guidance, he applied the Eight Trigrams Seal to his palm, creating a space akin to the Nine-Tails' own.

Once this was done, Russell integrated the portion of the Yin Seal that controlled Chakra input into the Eight Trigrams Seal, enabling him to open and close the space at will.

By channeling Chakra to his right palm, he could activate or deactivate it with a mere thought.

The second step complete, the third was to carve out a small space within the Eight Trigrams Seal using his Space Talent.

This required Minato's assistance. Since Russell had yet to master the Flying Thunder God technique, he needed Minato's expertise.

Leveraging the space-folding properties of the Flying Thunder God technique, Russell harnessed his Space Talent to seize control of the space, preventing it from reverting to its original form.

He then swiftly stamped the prepared Eight Trigrams Seal onto it and solidified the space with the sealing technique, finalizing his ninjutsu.

"Hahahaha!" The six-year-old Russell roared with laughter, his voice brimming with excitement, "My ninjutsu is finally complete!"

"Let's see how it turned out!" Kushina was even more thrilled than Russell, her cheeks glowing with excitement.

Minato was equally eager. If Russell's ninjutsu proved successful, its worth could rival that of the Impure World Reincarnation and the Flying Thunder God.

In the event of another war, Konoha wouldn't need to worry about supply exchanges; everyone could simply carry what they needed.

Amused by their eagerness, Russell grinned and said, "Okay, okay, I'm on it. Let's take a look right now."

After agreeing to the task, Russell channeled his chakra into the palm of his right hand and opened his personal space. Unsure if it could sustain life, he relied on his innate Space Talent to probe its limits.

"The space is roughly a hundred cubic meters. There's air, but it doesn't circulate. Once it's depleted, there's no replenishing it—it's not suitable for living things," he explained.

"However, the mechanism for accessing the space is flawless. A mere thought is all it takes to open or close it. Plus, it uses minimal chakra—no more than casting a Gougakyu No Jyutsu!"

While Russell continued to explore the space's properties, Minato diligently recorded his findings on a ninjutsu scroll, labeling them as 'superior grade ninjutsu.'

Kushina, overcome with pride, clutched Russell's head to her chest, exclaiming, "Russ, you're incredible! At just six years old, you've crafted a super-grade ninjutsu!"

"Kushina, ease up! I can't breathe!" Russell gasped, struggling in vain until she finally calmed down and released him.

Casting a stern look at Kushina, Russell leaped up and gave Minato a playful slap on the knee. "Quit grinning like an idiot. You should let Kushina set you up with your own personal space. With your mastery of the Flying Thunder God technique, you don't need my help, and your space would surely be larger than mine!"

The capacity of such a space was determined by the potency of the Eight Trigrams Seal and the range of the Flying Thunder God technique.

The farther the Flying Thunder God could travel, the larger the foldable space! In theory, if the Eight Trigrams Seal was strong enough, it could seal an infinite expanse.

In practice, however, even with the formidable Eight Trigrams Seal, the maximum space achievable was five hundred cubic meters—any larger would be unmanageable.

To create a personal space, a formidable Space Talent was essential. Whether for wielding the Flying Thunder God technique or managing the folded space it generated, Space Talent was the key.

Even with all the right conditions, a powerful sealing technique is still essential.

So far, only Russell and Minato have managed to create a personal space. Kushina, lacking the Space Talent, couldn't achieve this feat as she was unable to manipulate the space folded by the Flying Thunder God technique.

"Okay." With that acknowledgment, Minato and Kushina set to work.

They followed the sequence Russell had previously used, arranging the seals on Minato's left hand.

Before long, they ceased their meticulous efforts.

Russell, after a careful check, turned to Minato and Kushina with excitement, "We did it! There's over four hundred cubic meters of space!"

Minato's own use of the Flying Thunder God technique meant his folded space was naturally larger than Russell's. In time, Russell could also increase the size of his personal space once he mastered the technique.

Once the excitement settled, Minato inquired, "Russ, this is your creation. It's up to you if you want to share this ninjutsu with the village."

"Do as you please; no one else can master it anyway. But let's keep it away from Danzou and Sandaime's eyes!"

With a dismissive gesture, Russell dashed back to his room, turning it upside down as he stashed away the thirty million taels he'd earned that year.

After all, that was the bounty on Asuma's head. Caution was paramount.
