C10 Cloud Technology

"You're thinking of starting a company?"

Mollie's eyes went wide with surprise.

Then, with a sense of resignation, she said, "Big brother, 100,000 servers would need a ton of land. There's no way we could set that up quickly, right?"

"Just joking," Howard chuckled. "100 servers will do. Do you have them in stock to deliver? It's perfect timing, I'm working on my own cloud server framework tonight. We can think about constructing a larger server farm in the future."

"100 servers? No problem. The top-of-the-line models will arrive in an hour." Mollie quickly dispatched an order, then looked at Howard expectantly. "My personal AI..."

"That's a simple task." After tweaking some data, Howard programmed it on Hera's platform. Before long, a woman in a white dress, clutching a medical text, materialized on the screen. "How's that?"

Excellent!

Mollie, beaming with joy, grabbed Fredia and started hopping around. "Fredia, your boyfriend is seriously talented!"

Isn't he just!

Fredia couldn't conceal her smugness at her friend's compliment. "You should see who picked him!"

Fredia's eyes, shimmering with emotion, locked onto Howard's tender gaze, silently conveying her feelings, while inadvertently feeding Mollie another spoonful of 'dog food'.

But of course.

No point in fretting over it!

With this personal butler at her side, a little 'dog food' was a small price to pay.

"So, Howard, you're planning to pull an all-nighter?" Fredia asked, massaging his temples with concern. "Maybe we should just continue tomorrow?"

"No worries!" Howard dismissed the concern with a wave of his hand. "You two get some rest. As a programmer, stopping work midway isn't in my nature!"

The romance of a programmer is beyond us!

Seeing her attempts at persuasion fail.

Fredia gave up and whispered, "How about I keep you company?"

"No way!"

Howard firmly refused, gently pinching her rosy cheek. "A beauty like you needs her beauty sleep."

With that, he gave Mollie a look.

Mollie caught on immediately, taking Fredia by the hand and heading for the door. "Fredia, a man is at his most attractive when he's engrossed in his passion. Now's the time for us to focus on our own tasks and not add to his worries!"

Fine!

Fredia pouted, casting a lingering glance at Howard, who had just booted up another laptop, and obediently followed Mollie to get some rest.

The shipment of one hundred military-grade servers arrived promptly, and Claus took charge of them. Meanwhile, Howard had finished programming his exclusive system, dubbed the Primordial Court.

Crafted in Aeon script, this proprietary system of Zuchar was compatible with every chip and hardware available on the market.

Its operating speed surpassed that of the Windows system by several folds, offering perfect compatibility with a wide array of software. Most crucially, it supported artificial intelligence.

Consider this for a moment.

Who wouldn't want their very own Jarvis?

In the future, the Golden Crow could serve as the face of the company, while any private artificial intelligence derived from it would be at least a hundred times less potent. Yet, even this diluted version would surpass the intelligence capabilities of current technology.

Once the servers were set up, Howard reinstalled the system on his laptop. The startup screen was impressively lavish, reminiscent of a grand fantasy game.

The image of the ancient Heavenly Court was both majestic and awe-inspiring.

The desktop was organized and uncluttered, with only two initial applications: the Primordial Court Teleportation Gate and the Heavenly Court Immortal Spirit.

The Primordial Court Teleportation Gate was the exclusive entry point to the Primordial Court, accessible solely to users of its system. The Primordial Court's offerings were extensive, including search functions, forums, social bars, chat rooms, and more.

Once activated, this portal could generate a mobile version, allowing access to the Primordial Court anytime, anywhere.

As for the Heavenly Court Immortal Spirit,

this was Howard's personal artificial intelligence. He could customize its appearance, hairstyle, and personality to his liking, truly making it his own unique AI.

Howard didn't need to create a face for himself.

He could simply upload Zeus' code.

After an hour of testing, Howard nodded with satisfaction and murmured, "Zeus, your efforts are greatly appreciated!"

"It's a trivial task, hardly worth mentioning," Zeus responded, standing tall with a regal sweep of his sleeve, exuding imperial authority. "If there's nothing else, I shall proceed to update my knowledge database."

"Very well."

Howard gave a slight nod. "Carry on."

As he spoke, the laptop screen dimmed.

The final test was flawless.

Howard stretched languidly, stood up, and washed his face in the bathroom. Holding the invigorating tea Claus had brought, he took a deliberate sip. "In the future, I'm destined to carve out my own space in the tech world!"

"Claus, we're heading back to school today. Once you've sorted out the maid situation, go ahead and register a tech company. Call it Cloud Technology," Howard said, stroking his chin as he began the day's check-in.

Ding! Check-in successful: ten nanolithography machines, a complete lithography machine production line, and one specialist!

Excellent!

Howard arched an eyebrow as he inspected the lithography machine. It bore no logo, signifying it was exclusive to Zuchar, to him, free from any patent concerns.

Moreover.

They had only achieved a 7-nanometer breakthrough, but he had leaped straight to 1 nanometer. As for patents, it would be the Western powers paying him, and that was if he chose to allow it!

"Also, after we've registered, let's find a factory. We can skip the office building for now. Being close to the production is most fitting for us tech folks!" Howard wasn't being frugal; he simply didn't want to draw undue attention too soon.

Systems, cloud services, AI—all could wait. But the chip was ready to go.

Moreover.

With a specialist on his team, he wouldn't be left in the dark about anything.

The impact of a 1-nanometer innovation on the world was something to truly anticipate!

Lost in thought, Howard was interrupted when the adorable Senior Sister, clad in bunny pajamas, and Mollie, in her floral cow-patterned ones, tiptoed in. Seeing Howard gaze out at the sea, Senior Sister giggled, snuck up behind him, and playfully covered his eyes. "Guess who!"

"Hmm, Sister Dreamy, cut it out," Howard responded teasingly. "What if Fredia saw us? Let's keep it our little secret."

Ah!

Fredia's heart raced at his words. Her eyes went wide as she incredulously stared at her best friend. "You're trying to steal my boyfriend!?"

Asshole!

You promised you'd only love me!

Fredia huffed, jealousy written all over her face as she crossed her arms and sulkily squatted in the corner, tracing circles on the ground.

Ha! Gotcha!

I was just messing with you!

Seeing his adorable Senior Sister fuming, Howard quickly went over and scooped her into his arms, soothingly saying, "Come on, no more being mad. I've got your AI up and running. Go ahead and transfer it to your phone and have some fun with it!"

For real?

You're only in love with me?

Fredia pouted, giving Howard a woeful gaze. She was still somewhat on guard, eyeing her bestie with suspicion. "Mollie, you're not going to compete with me for him, are you?"

I won't compete with you.

Mollie gave an exasperated eye roll. That damned man was actually trying to stir up trouble between the sisters!
