C7 The System Is Helping Me Godlevel Culinary Skills

[Ding! A surprise mission has been triggered: Prepare a lavish lunch for the campus beauty, Senior Sister. Accept the mission and receive God-level culinary skills as a reward. Complete the mission and these God-level culinary skills will be yours to keep, along with an extra sign-in opportunity!]

[Not a bad reward at all!]

Howard paused for a moment, then tenderly cradled Fredia's soft, pale, and cool cheek, asking warmly, "What would you like to eat? I'll cook it for you!"

"You can cook?"

Fredia was somewhat astonished, her anticipation evident as she said, "I'd love some Mapo tofu, Sichuan-style hotpot, and sweet and sour fish!"

[Consider it done!]

"Who would've thought such an adorable bunny would have a taste for spicy food?" Howard mused, surprised by Fredia's preferences.

Giggling, Fredia tilted her head with a touch of sass and challenged, "Those dishes sound pretty complex. Think you can handle it?"

[How could a man ever admit defeat?]

With his eyebrows arched, Howard was brimming with confidence, bolstered by his newfound God-level culinary prowess. He patted his chest and assured her, "Senior Sister, go hang out with Sister Mollie for a bit. I'll whip up your meal in no time!"

Fredia pouted playfully, "I don't want to leave. I want to watch you cook. They say there's nothing more attractive than a man who's focused on his work. I want to see for myself!"

[Alright then!]

With an affectionate smile at the charming Senior Sister, Howard said, "Let's head down to the first floor!"

[Sure!]

Fredia beamed as she followed Howard, her eyes gleaming with admiration as she sneakily admired his striking profile. "Little junior, you're getting more handsome by the day!"

On the first floor.

Upon seeing them, Claus promptly greeted, "Young Master, Miss Liu, your tea and snacks are ready. Please enjoy."

"Senior Sister, help yourself to some tea and snacks. I'll head to the kitchen and start on lunch," Howard said with a light laugh, then added, "Claus, could you please take some tea and snacks up to Senior Sister Mollie on the sixth floor?"

"Of course."

With a respectful nod, Claus took an extra plate of tea and snacks and made his way to the elevator, heading for the sixth floor.

Howard donned a pristine white apron and strode into the kitchen.

The kitchen was expansive, equipped with every high-end appliance a chef could desire, ready to meet any culinary challenge.

The ingredients in the kitchen's refrigerator were all purchased with daily limits to ensure maximum freshness. The cold, fresh meats and seafood had been recently restocked, and the preservation methods were of a professional standard, so there was no need to worry about the safety and freshness of the ingredients.

Howard was the first to start preparing the fish. He selected a carp, a genuine Mother River Carp. Since the fish was frozen, it needed to be thawed before further preparation—a perfect time for him to begin making the Mapo tofu. Despite never having tasted authentic Mapo tofu, his god-level culinary skills made him quite adept at the task.

Meanwhile, Fredia sat at the kitchen doorway, clutching a cream puff and watching Howard cook with the earnest attention of a hamster. Unable to resist, she snapped a photo with her phone from the perfect angle, then expertly posted it to her social circle with the caption: "So happy, my dear boyfriend is making my favorite Mapo tofu!"

Hmm?

What was Fredia up to now?

Mollie, engrossed in her book, glanced at the glowing phone on the table, picked it up, and was flabbergasted. "You little rascal, we've barely been apart and you've already made it official? And you didn't even invite me to join you for cooking? Clearly, friends are forgotten in the presence of a significant other!"

But, truth be told, she felt lucky that Fredia had found such a wonderful guy.

Mollie's tranquility was in stark contrast to the uproar elsewhere.

Over at the Liu family's home in Todmorden, a pair of adorable twins were the first to come across the post.

"Sister Fredia seems to have gotten a boyfriend, Beth!"

"He really is her boyfriend, Heidi!"

The twins were beside themselves with excitement. "We have to go tell Grandpa and everyone!"

Bursting into the Liu family dining room, the twins announced with bubbling enthusiasm, "Grandpa, we think Sister Fredia has a boyfriend and they're living together!"

"Boyfriend, living together!" Beth spoke slowly, her expression slightly vacant but utterly endearing.

"How could that be? Don't spread rumors, girls. Do you even understand what living together means?" A dignified and elegant woman gently patted the little ones' heads, her voice tinged with exasperation.

Absolutely true!

Seeing the skepticism around her, Heidi quickly produced the evidence: "Look, big sister posted photos already. That guy is super handsome, and the kitchen is huge!"

What's this?

The beautiful woman was momentarily taken aback, grabbing her phone to see for herself, her disbelief evident: "Wow, she's actually fallen for someone, actually went to a guy's house. Incredible!"

For real?

The grandfather was the most thrilled: "Haha, well then, give it a try. If there's a chance, have Fredia bring the boy over. If she's taken a liking to him, it must mean the kid's got solid character!"

Okay.

The beautiful woman gave a slight nod, quickly left a comment, and then earnestly cautioned her daughters, "Heidi, Beth, no wild gossiping, okay? Otherwise, your great-uncle is going to lose it!"

Oh!

The twins exchanged a knowing glance, a mischievous sparkle in their black gemstone-like eyes, and hand in hand, they bounced out of the dining room.

Those two...

What mischief are they up to now?

The beautiful woman exhaled a resigned sigh.

Inside the manor!

Howard had swiftly prepared three dishes, and not stopping there, he whipped up several small stir-fries and a pot of glistening, translucent rice. He then invited his giggling Senior Sister to wash up and get ready for the meal.

Meanwhile.

Howard had also phoned Claus, asking him to bring Mollie down for dinner.

At the dining table.

The delectable dishes, paired with an aroma and spiciness that made mouths water uncontrollably, had the girls' eyes wide with amazement. "Howard, you're incredible!"

"The Young Master's culinary prowess is truly exceptional, unlike anything this old servant has seen before. He could give even a state banquet chef a run for their money!" Claus appraised with sincerity.

"Haha, enough with the flattery. Claus, come join us at the table!" Howard chuckled and took his seat. "It's a bit simple, but it's perfect for a housewarming feast!"

Alright then!

I'm digging in!

As a self-proclaimed foodie, Fredia couldn't wait any longer. She eyed the panda-shaped mapo tofu, swiftly grabbed a piece with her chopsticks, and popped it into her mouth. The heat, the spice, the rich flavor burst forth, creating a dreamy taste sensation that filled Fredia with joy. "It's so hot, so spicy, but I just can't stop eating. It's too delicious!"

Absolutely!

It's incredibly delicious!

Mollie felt the same way. Despite panting from the heat, her chopsticks never paused, relentlessly ferrying more bites to her mouth.
