C2 Gluttony Is the Ladder to Progress

After an unknown period of time, Du Kang woke up from his long slumber.

The first feeling he felt when he woke up was squeezing. Du Kang knew that he had grown a lot. Originally, he would have a surplus of five of the holes he dug. Now, even if he curled up into a ball, he still felt uncomfortable. The original entrance had now turned into an entire rock. Du Kang found that he couldn't get out.

However, this wasn't a big problem for Du Kang. With his current strength, he could crush the small hill that he had dug with his forelimbs, but he would also be buried alive. Although this didn't affect him much, he was still a bit unhappy about being buried alive. Therefore, to be on the safe side, he still used the spikes on his forelimbs to dig the road to the outside.

After digging for an unknown amount of time, Du Kang was glad that he chose to dig a hole instead of smashing a mountain. If he were to smash a mountain, he would have been smashed into a pancake by the mountain if he hadn't dug for so long. If he added some beef, he might even be able to make a sedative.

Finally, one day, Du Kang dug out the path that led to the ground. Seeing the sun again, he looked around at the unfamiliar environment. The small hill that was originally his temporary bedroom had now been buried deep into the ground, and the ground was no longer as desolate as it was when he first saw it. There were lush vegetation everywhere, and there were even some small animals running away in the distance - although they ran very fast, Du Kang could still tell that the animals running away were small dinosaurs the size of dogs.

Du Kang did not know his own size. If he returned to the human perspective, he could see that those small dinosaurs that were only slightly bigger than dogs in his eyes were huge creatures that were more than ten meters tall. However, these beasts that had almost dominated the top of the food chain ran away without looking back when they saw this huge creature covered in armor. Some of the more daring animals looked at the unknown giant beast that had suddenly appeared with fear and envy in their eyes. Its huge body looked like a thick carapace that did not fear attacks. Its strong and powerful forelimbs were covered with thick and sharp spikes, and it also had a look of disdain in its eyes. Everything was in line with, or rather, redefining the understanding of these small Devildragons, who had yet to evolve their brain capacity, towards top predators.

However, no matter what kind of mentality these land creatures of the new era had towards themselves, Du Kang did not care very much. He was very satisfied with his current environment. At least it was much better than when he was in the water. Green shrubs could be seen everywhere. For Du Kang's huge prawn body, they were just shrubs, and there was food everywhere. He could occasionally have a dozen tooth sacrifices, but he had never heard of any natural enemy of Mantis shrimp on land. In fact, he had already become the natural enemy of almost all creatures.

However, he was in a good mood when he wanted to taste the taste of dinosaurs. His overly large body was exceptionally obvious no matter what he wanted to do. The commotion caused was also too great. If he was in the water, his huge body might not be bad news. Strength meant that he could swim faster, but on land, it would be bad - although he had a lot of legs, but he didn't run fast.

After half a month of hunting, Du Kang came to a difficult conclusion. Although he had a lot of legs, it was impossible for him to catch up with these two or four legs on the ground. It wasn't difficult for him to run as fast as them, but there was no hope of catching up to them. After realizing this, Du Kang decisively changed his mind. He dug a big pit and buried himself, waiting for the bold unlucky guy to come and seek death. In fact, this was the normal way to hunt for Mantis shrimp. After being stuck in the soil for six days, he successfully skewered a small dinosaur that looked about the size of a rooster on his forelimbs - of course, it was only the size of a rooster to him.

Du Kang looked at the dinosaur in front of him. Its four limbs looked like that of an elephant. Its legs were thick, short, and strong. Its feet were not suitable for tearing apart prey, but more suitable for bearing weight. His neck was long and slender, his tail long and thick. It could effectively balance his body. What surprised Du Kang even more was that... This dinosaur wasn't like the lizard that he remembered, with its bare skin. Instead, it had feathers all over its body.

"Since it has feathers all over its body, let's just treat it as a chicken." Du Kang thought.

"But how should I remove the feathers of this thing?" Du Kang looked at his forelimbs. For the first time, he felt that his body was not as good as he had imagined. His forelimbs were abnormally strong. They could be combined as a hammer, or they could be used to poke or cut with the spikes at the front. They could also be used to dig holes.

However, they could not be used to pluck feathers. Perhaps they could be used to burn the feathers.

First, he had to light the fire.

Du Kang used his thick forelimbs. In fact, this thing should be called a forelimb. He broke a few trees and used them as firewood. Then, he aimed it at the pile of firewood and started to accumulate strength. It was as if he was ready to punch with his forelimbs.

With a loud bang, the shell on the forelimb rubbed against the air. The overly fast impact caused sparks to appear out of thin air. In fact, it was a large ball of fire. However, the firewood that he had prepared just now had also flown to an unknown place due to the intense air explosion.

After five or six attempts, Du Kang finally succeeded in lighting the fire and not the firewood. In other words, the thick tree trunk that was more than ten meters long flew all over the place. After cleaning up the internal organs and feathers of the dinosaurs, Du Kang wrapped the processed ingredients with a few layers of soil and put them into the fire. Du Kang had long wanted to eat cooked food. Although he had eaten many raw fish, shrimp, and shellfish before, there was nothing he could do about it. Perhaps it was due to the influence of the way of thinking and memory when he was still a human. Under certain circumstances, he preferred to eat cooked food rather than raw food. Even though he had never tried whether or not he could eat cooked meat with his prawn mouth.

The result of the matter was that it was possible. After carefully knocking open the mud shell with his sweeping limbs, the fragrance of cooked meat made him impatiently tear off a dinosaur leg. Du Kang himself did not know how he smelled it, but the prawn did not have a nose. However, cooked food was fundamentally different from raw meat and blood. The smell it emitted was two different concepts. Du Kang had had enough of the fishy smell of the sea.

He ate quickly and quickly. Soon, Du Kang had eaten up half of the dinosaurs. It had been a long time since he had eaten anything. This was the first time he had eaten since he woke up. However, Du Kang did not feel hungry. The reason why he roasted dinosaurs was to try the taste, not to eat.

However, this did not mean that he would allow other things to snatch the food.

Looking at the octopuses that were crawling in the distance and were about the same size as him, Du Kang's prawn face was as black as the bottom of a pot.
