C17 Mecha Simulation Competition 2

The two sides exchanged a barrage of fire, with Battalion One Company One's shooters proving more accurate, while Battalion Three Class Ten struggled to keep up. Within moments, nine Mechas had been destroyed in the Beast Fighting Arena, with no display of technical prowess. Battalion One Company One lost only two Mechas, compared to the seven lost by Battalion Three Class Ten. Without their successful ambush, Class Ten's forces wouldn't have stood a chance at taking down even one.

As per tradition, the squad leaders allowed the new recruits to strike first, giving the Tank's observers a chance to gauge each recruit's capabilities. Battalion Three Class Ten was in dire straits, having lost seven Mechas quickly, leaving Tang Hao with no choice but to enter the fray. Seeing the situation, the opposing squad leader also joined the battle.

With no cover in the Beast Fighting Arena, Tang Hao relied on his superior skills and a series of feints to evade the enemy's focused fire. Yet, he dared not charge in recklessly; the battle was a defensive one, and a single misstep could mean defeat.

"Fatty, perfect timing. Hold the front; we're going to charge straight through," Zhuge Yao urgently communicated to Lei Xun, intent on breaking through to engage in close combat.

"Got it, stay close," Lei Xun replied without hesitation, piloting his Mecha headlong toward the enemy's position.

The crowd inside and outside the arena gasped in amazement. Lee Xinru stared at the screen, scarcely believing her eyes, and thought, "Have these two lads lost their minds? A head-on charge is a death wish."

Lee Feng's eyes sparkled with interest as he watched the screen, murmuring, "Quite intriguing. These youngsters are reviving the ancient cavalry charge tactic."

The large targets didn't escape Battalion One's notice, and they quickly spotted the two charging enemy Mechas. They dispatched four Mechas to concentrate fire on Zhuge Yao and Lei Xun. This diversion, however, halved the firepower bearing down on Tang Hao.

Seizing the moment, Tang Hao cranked his protective shield to maximum and charged toward Battalion One's position. Dodging and weaving, he advanced while occasionally using his Laser Gun to deflect incoming fire.

Watching Tang Hao in combat was more thrilling than any movie, Lee Feng exclaimed, "Old Tang, you've come back to life, and now we've got quite the spectacle!"

Battalion One Company One was thrown into chaos. They had never encountered someone so formidable. They couldn't land a hit, and they had no escape. To avoid wasting ammo, the squad leader ordered all the recruits to focus their fire on Lei Xun and Zhuge Yao's Mechas, hoping to take down these two brutes first.

The opposition's firepower was overwhelming. Lei Xun's Mecha was destroyed before he could even reach the halfway point. A plume of smoke billowed from the wreckage. Seizing the moment, Zhuge Yao activated his thrusters and leapt into the sky. The ensuing barrage missed its mark. With a sly grin, he piloted his Mecha in a steep dive, obliterating another enemy Mecha upon impact.

Zhuge Yao abandoned the Laser Gun in favor of dual Magnetic Oscillation Blades. Like a tiger amidst sheep, he relentlessly cut down the Mechas of Class One, filling the air with the sound of their disintegration.

Tang Hao joined the fray, also wielding a Magnetic Oscillation Blade, compelling his adversaries into close-quarters combat. The fighters of Class One were utterly overpowered, lacking any melee weapons, they could only endure the onslaught.

The battle concluded swiftly, with Battalion Three Class Ten emerging as the unquestionable victors. The crowd, both inside and outside the simulation chamber, was astounded. Battalion One Company One was the cream of the Recruit Company, yet they were outclassed. Had the Machine Maintenance Class truly become this formidable?

Lee Xinru watched Zhuge Yao's ruthless tactics with a sense of exasperation. Combat was one thing, but dismantling someone else's Mecha seemed excessive.

Despite their victory, the members of Battalion Three Class Ten felt disheartened. Most of them recognized that their piloting skills were severely lacking.

Conversely, despite their defeat, the warriors of Battalion One Company One remained undaunted. They considered the loss a fluke, attributing it to their opponents' sheer luck. Confident in their abilities, they believed that in a rematch, victory would be theirs.

Zhuge Yao was thrilled, having dismantled three mechas in one breath, recapturing the sensation of being an unrivaled warrior on the battlefields of his past life. Yet, when he emerged from the simulation chamber, there were no admiring stares or enthusiastic embraces to greet him. Noticing his classmates' lack of excitement, he resolved to lift their spirits. "No worries," he thought, "I'll take you all to new heights."

Bypassing Tang Hao, Zhuge Yao rallied the entire class to strategize. Xia Yan, Gongsun Yan, Zhang Fann, Qiu Heizi, and the rest listened in astonishment. Was this really a viable approach to the Mecha Competition? Surely this wasn't some kind of joke?

"Trust me, if you follow my plan, we'll be unbeatable," Zhuge Yao assured them with brimming confidence. Initially uncertain, a brief trial in the simulation chamber convinced him there were no issues with his tactics.

Tang Hao could only offer a wry smile and a shake of his head as he observed his class. It seemed they were on the brink of stirring up trouble once more. Yet, the thought was somewhat exhilarating. These youngsters always managed to pull off the most bizarre stunts, leaving everyone at a loss for words. As long as they weren't disheartened, he preferred to stand back and enjoy whatever unfolded.

The competition proceeded swiftly, and it was Battalion Three Class Ten's turn once again. Zhuge Yao laid out the tactics and confidently led his team into the simulation chamber. Their entrance caught the eye of many onlookers, particularly the refreshing duo of Tang Hao and Zhuge Yao, who sparked a newfound curiosity.

As fate would have it, they were matched against the female soldier class led by Lee Xinru. Unaware of their opponents, Battalion Three Class Ten entered first, missing the arrival of the other team. The moment the battle commenced, Battalion Three Class Ten charged forward without any discernible formation or battle technique, just a headlong rush.

Caught off guard, Class Ten quickly closed in on the female soldier class, transforming the fight from a ranged to a melee confrontation. Each member of Class Ten wielded a hefty shield and a Magnetic Oscillation Blade, skillfully dismantling the enemy mechas limb by limb. Their recent training paid off handsomely, as they swiftly reduced the opposing class's mechas to scrap in no time at all.

"Despicable, vile, shameless!" The onlookers were seething with righteous indignation, loudly condemning Zhuge Yao and his cohorts.

The High Level Military Officers at the Tank were visibly displeased after the match. They adhered to the chivalric code and had nothing but contempt for such unsportsmanlike conduct, which they viewed as a complete disgrace.

Several veterans who had been invited to participate outright refused to engage. They had no interest in competing against such an unsavory group.

For Zhuge Yao, a win was a win, and he couldn't care less about others' opinions. On the battlefield, would the enemy play fair? Don't be so naive. Exiting the Simulation Chamber, he was immediately embraced by his comrades in a warm celebration.

"Zhuge Yao, you jerk, how could you resort to such dirty tricks?" Lee Xinru stormed out of the Simulation Chamber, hurling insults at Zhuge Yao and advancing as if to start a fight.

Hearing the tirade, Zhuge Yao turned to see the formidable Lee Xinru and made a quick getaway. A wise man doesn't quarrel with a woman, and he was particularly wary of this fierce lady. Could it be that she led the female soldier class? The mere thought sent shivers down his spine. He dashed back to his dorm, not feeling safe until the door was firmly shut behind him.

The sight of Lee Xinru in hot pursuit of Zhuge Yao quickly cast him as the battalion's number one enemy. The others were itching for a chance to take him down, outraged that he would dare to harass their beloved comrade. Where was the justice in that?
