C13 Rich People like You like to Keep a Low Profile

The Rolls-Royce Phantom glided gracefully down the street, its luxurious presence reminiscent of a noble surveying his domain.

Saitama, perched in the passenger seat, gazed around with wide-eyed wonder, marveling, "This car is so cool!"

Curious, he turned to the driver and asked, "Hey, how much for this car? Would a million cover it?"

"A million wouldn't even come close," the driver replied with a strained chuckle, his heart brimming with scorn. He couldn't fathom where the miss had picked up these two yokels. They'd been hollering from the moment they climbed aboard, and now they fancied buying a Rolls-Royce with a mere million? It was laughable—a million might buy a tire, at best!

Cello Everett, sitting in the car, nodded in agreement, "Indeed, this car is quite exceptional."

He had a fondness for the Rolls-Royce, a vehicle that embodied nobility, understatement, and opulence—a true aristocrat among luxury cars.

"You sure know your stuff, Teacher," Saitama said, scratching his head with a sheepish grin. "All I can do is talk big."

"Why not get one for yourself, Teacher?" he suggested.

The driver inwardly scoffed at the absurdity. These two clods had no clue about the car's true cost, yet they aspired to own a Rolls-Royce? Utterly clueless!

"Perhaps," Cello Everett mused, nodding thoughtfully. "It's not like we need it, but it would be just right for Kyoka when she goes out to shop for groceries."

Considering the vast expanse of their one-hectare manor, having a car would certainly make Kyoka's trips to the market more convenient.

The driver was left speechless. Was this for real? Buying a Rolls-Royce for the maid to run errands?

The idea was preposterous, and the driver was convinced that any sane person would dismiss Cello Everett's words as fantasy.

But then, in the next instant...

"Cello Everett, are you looking to buy a car?" Melinde's eyes sparkled as she eagerly offered, "Need any help with that?"

"I'm acquainted with a Rolls-Royce dealership. We could have the car in just three days."

"Sure thing."

Cello Everett gave a nod, unfazed. To him, cars and cash were trivialities not worth fussing over. No need to dwell on them.

Saitama had come to understand Cello's casual approach to wealth.

A three-billion-yuan villa? Cello snapped it up without batting an eye. And driving a Rolls-Royce to the grocery store? He'd buy ten just for taking out the trash without a second thought. Hardly shocking.

The driver gulped, his throat dry. Today, he'd learned that still waters run deep. He was well aware of the clout and capital behind Melinde's family, but he hadn't anticipated...

That these two, who seemed like simple country folks, wielded influence so great that even Melinde sought their favor.

Reflecting on it now, he was relieved that his earlier rudeness hadn't escalated to outright insults, and that there was still a chance to make amends.

"Mr. Everett, I'm Bink, Miss Melinde's driver," the driver said, mopping his brow and offering a servile grin. "Should you need transportation, just give me a shout."

Cello wasn't bothered by Bink's sudden eagerness to please.

But still...

"Bink, are you feeling under the weather?" Cello inquired, a hint of concern in his voice. "Otherwise, why the cold sweat on such a warm day?"

Bink's expression soured. What other reason could there be? It was the sheer intimidation of their presence! The wealthy always seem to enjoy their understated guise, playing coy until they strike. If this were to happen a few more times, Bink wasn't sure his heart could take it.

In the end, Bink managed to deliver Cello and company safely to the superpower banquet's location, without further incident.

The destination was Z City's most opulent establishment, the five-star Hotel Gabriel!
