Outside the gates of Jiangnan University, students streamed out as classes ended for the day.

From a distance, Lin Feng spotted a long-haired girl standing at the entrance. Her face was strikingly beautiful, and she wore a blue dress that accentuated her ladylike demeanor.

Bathed in the soft light of the evening sun, her figure was elegantly highlighted, drawing the gazes of the boys passing by the gate.

With his family's wealth, good looks, and piano prowess, Zhao Feiyun was the dream prince for many girls at Jiangnan University.

Given Zhao Feiyun's enviable status, he was never short of female admirers.

It hadn't crossed Lin Feng's mind that Lee Siyu was waiting for Zhao Feiyun.

With a smile, Zhao Feiyun addressed her, "Siyu, get in quick! I've already reserved two seats for us at the Hilton Hotel."

Her smile sweet and tender, Lee Siyu nodded to Zhao Feiyun, "Okay."

She then made her way to the passenger side, where Lin Feng watched Zhao Feiyun courteously open the door for her.

As Lee Siyu settled into the seat, she casually adjusted her hair. But then, her eyes caught sight of Lin Feng standing just meters away.

"What's wrong?" Zhao Feiyun, who had also noticed Lin Feng, was well aware that he was Lee Siyu's boyfriend.

Yet, he feigned ignorance, watching Lee Siyu with a curious gaze.

Lee Siyu's face swiftly regained composure. "It's nothing, let's go," she said.

A smirk of satisfaction crept onto Zhao Feiyun's face. He had done his homework on Lin Feng's background.

Lin Feng was the son of farmers, a poor boy with no influential support.

Thus, Zhao Feiyun wasn't the least bit surprised by Lee Siyu's choice.

Not that he genuinely cared for Lee Siyu.

A sneer of contempt spread across Zhao Yunfei's lips. Lee Siyu's icy, indifferent stare wounded Lin Feng's pride.

Lin Feng's thoughts flashed back to the old man's words from earlier.

He hadn't expected everything to unfold just as the elder had predicted.

His girlfriend had indeed betrayed him.

Rage consumed him.

Was Lee Siyu's former innocence and disdain for vanity all a sham?

The BMW roared to life, pulling up right next to Lin Feng.

Zhao Yunfei had done it deliberately.

He smirked at Lin Feng, "This flower you're holding is for Siyu, isn't it? Sorry, she's my girlfriend now."

He had stolen Lin Feng's girlfriend and was now taunting him.

Lin Feng remained unfazed by Zhao Yunfei's wrath.

"Lin Feng, what nonsense are you spouting? I've never had feelings for you. I'm Zhao Yunfei's girlfriend!" Lee Siyu was frantic, worried Zhao Yunfei might get the wrong idea. She yelled at Lin Feng, her voice tinged with anger.

Students milling about after school halted, their attention drawn to the commotion.

Lin Feng could hardly believe his own ears.

Lee Siyu was claiming she had never cared for him.

Moreover, she was loudly announcing her status as Zhao Yunfei's girlfriend for all to hear.

She was clearly intent on severing ties with Lin Feng.

She showed him no consideration whatsoever.

Zhao Yunfei was taken aback by Lin Feng's bold move. He knew Chen Jiayi's reputation at Jiangnan University very well, and he couldn't believe that Lin Feng had just confessed his feelings for her in front of everyone, and even kissed her.

Chen Jiayi was known for being aloof and unapproachable, and many male students had tried and failed to win her over. But Lin Feng had succeeded where others had failed, and Zhao Yunfei couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy.

He watched as Chen Jiayi blushed and looked away, clearly flustered by Lin Feng's actions. It was obvious that she hadn't expected this, and Zhao Yunfei wondered what her response would be.

Would she accept Lin Feng's confession and start a relationship with him? Or would she reject him and continue to keep her distance from everyone?

Zhao Yunfei couldn't wait to find out.

Her beauty and her family's influence were leagues beyond his reach.
