C1 Reincarnated Awakened by the System!

Star Pet Chronicle, Year 243, September 1st.

Littlewell Base City.

"Littlewell Morning News: Today, a massive sinkhole appeared out of nowhere on a road alongside the river in the base city. The County Seat's elite tamers are investigating the incident. It is suspected to be the work of a burrowing Diamond Pangolin. The investigation is ongoing... Stay tuned to this channel."

"Statistics indicate an increase in the number of wild magical creatures outside the base city. The annual autumn beast tide may arrive earlier than usual. The City Guards and the Tamer Association are collaborating to construct defensive fortifications."

"Corey, the president of the Littlewell Tamer Association, ventured alone into Skull Valley and inflicted severe damage on the Overlord-level Water Ape King, delaying the onset of the beast tide."

...

In a modest neighborhood in the southeast of the base city.

On television.

There were reports detailing the encounters between tamers and wild magical creatures.

Sitting on a grey-black sofa, Symas held an old, faded photo, a look of melancholy in his eyes. He glanced at his smart bracelet for the time, and after a moment, he exhaled deeply, his gaze brimming with irrepressible elation.

He had been reborn!

Back to three years prior.

The date on his smart bracelet and the news on the television matched his memories from three years ago—Littlewell was still standing.

Symas walked over to the window and drew back the curtains, bathing in the bright, warm sunlight.

Outside the window.

The streets bustled with people, most of whom were accompanied by a variety of pets.

In the distance, the towering hundred-meter wall encircled Littlewell, an impregnable fortress.

Above, a giant eagle granted flight rights carried a load of goods from other base cities across its expansive wings.

A vibrant tableau unfolded before his eyes.

In this world, everyone could be a tamer, and pets had seen unprecedented advancements in healthcare, technology, infrastructure, and combat.

In the first year of the Star Pet Chronicle.

Battle pet relics emerged across Orithyia, provoking the wild beasts to mutate and develop various skills. A single divine-level magical creature could effortlessly lay waste to a large city with a population exceeding one million.

Human territories were shrinking, leaving them no choice but to construct massive base cities and arm themselves with firearms to fend off the magical creatures.

However, as the wild magical creatures grew stronger, humanity found itself increasingly overwhelmed.

Amidst this struggle, humans unearthed pet eggs within the relics scattered across the globe. By hatching these eggs and forming contracts with the resulting battle pets, humans harnessed their power, slowly regaining their footing and holding back the onslaught of the magical creatures.

These wild magical creatures, along with the perilous pet relics that emerged without warning, became the sworn enemies of all people.

Symas' parents were once professional demon hunters registered with the Tamer Association.

Tragically, they perished in battle during a savage beast tide that breached the District Area of the base city.

Only Uncle Callahan, a close friend of his parents, remained to care for Symas from a young age.

"This time, Littlewell Base City will not succumb so easily," Symas vowed, his fists clenched with determination.

Three years later, to everyone's surprise, an SS-level Star Pet Chronicle emerged beneath Littlewell. The city was riddled with massive abyssal pits from which twelve fearsome Overlord-level magical creatures surged forth, wreaking havoc.

In Littlewell, only the president of the Tamer Association and the mayor possessed Lord-tier battle pets. Outmatched and desperate, they sacrificed themselves along with five Overlord-level battle pets in a final stand.

The city fell.

Caught off guard, the inhabitants, numbering over three million, were decimated. Not a soul survived the siege led by the Overlord-level magical creatures.

Symas vividly recalled his own demise at the hands of a member of the Giant Eye Clan, floating ominously in the sky. The Overlord-level magical creature, a thirty-meter-wide Giant Eye with numerous lengthy tentacles and a sinister scarlet triangle at its core, had not come from the relic but from beyond the city's borders.

Uncle Callahan, who had looked after Symas for over a decade, was slain by the Scarlet Triangle Giant Eye Overlord. The memory of his uncle's protective stance in his final moments was etched into Symas' mind.

Standing in the room, Symas took a while to snap out of his reverie. The massive crater reported on the television, leading deep underground, indicated the presence of a level SS pet relic beneath Littlewell. Despite the investigation by an elite tamer from the County Seat, no discoveries had been made. The exact location of the relic's entrance in Littlewell still required further investigation.

Symas knew better than to act rashly and risk drawing the attention of the Dark Order. This organization, notorious within the Trintis Dukedom, consisted of human traitors controlled by malevolent magical creatures. They sought power from wild magical creatures, forsaking their humanity in the process. Many Dark Order members had been turned into powerful Orcish beings, specializing in the assassination of emerging geniuses and perceived threats within the four great duchies of Orithyia. Their presence was known in Littlewell as well.

In his past life, the Dark Order had hunted down Idod, who had summoned an elite battle pet during the Summoning Ceremony. To Symas's surprise, Idod had succeeded, only to be gravely injured, his young battle pet slain, and his talent destroyed. Symas now wondered if the Dark Order had infiltrated the County Seat with spies.

With his current limited strength, blindly seeking out the relic beneath Littlewell would make him a target for those with ulterior motives. He knew all too well that the human heart could be the most fearsome adversary. To protect Uncle Callahan and his sister Jaylee, who had always supported him in leveling up his pets, Symas resolved to significantly increase his strength within the next three years.

In his previous life, the battle pet he had summoned at the Summoning Ceremony was a black iron 3-star battle pet with above-average talent. Without the resources left by his parents, he would never have managed to elevate his pet to a 7-star elite level in just three years.

"Ding! The Super God Beast Tamer System is now binding..."

"10%!"

"20%!"

...

"Binding successful. Congratulations to the host on successfully binding the Super God Beast Tamer System!"

"Would you like to claim the novice gift pack?"

Lost in thought, Symas was suddenly roused by a pleasant voice resonating in his mind.

"What exactly is the Super God Beast Tamer System?"

Symas glanced around, his expression one of confusion.

"Would you like to claim the beginner's gift pack?"

That same voice echoed once more near Symas' ear.

"Yes."

Symas responded tentatively.

"Ding! Congratulations, you've received a 100 x 100 x 100 Void Territory. Currently binding..."

"Congratulations, you've obtained an unhatched fire dragon egg!"

"Congratulations, you've acquired a level-1 small fire-type pet nest, now under construction in the Void Territory..."
