C1 Coming Back from the Reincarnation!

In the 243rd year of the Star Pet Era, on September 1st, the city of Littlewell was abuzz with news.

"Good morning from the Jiangnan Daily: Today, a massive sinkhole appeared out of nowhere on the road along the Tonghe Street in Littlewell. The elite beast tamers from the castellan's mansion are on the scene, investigating the possibility that a Dorje Pangolin, known for its burrowing abilities, is responsible. The investigation is ongoing... Stay tuned to this channel."

"Reports indicate that the number of wild magical creatures outside Littlewell has risen. The usual autumn beast tide may arrive earlier than expected. The city guards and the Beast Tamer Association have begun collaborating to erect defensive structures."

"Corey, the president of the Beast Tamer Association, ventured alone into the Skeleton Valley wilderness and inflicted severe damage on the overlord-level Demonic Beast, the Water Ape King, delaying the onset of the beast tide."

...

In a modest neighborhood in the southeast of Littlewell, the television broadcasted one story after another about the confrontations between beast tamers and wild monsters.

Symas sat on a grayish-black sofa, holding a faded photograph. His eyes betrayed a touch of melancholy. Glancing at his smart bracelet for the time, he eventually exhaled deeply, his gaze brimming with irrepressible elation.

He had been reborn!

Back to three years prior.

The date on his smart bracelet and the news report on the television confirmed it; he was indeed back in time, and Littlewell City was just as he remembered.

Symas approached the window and drew back the curtains. The bright sunlight bathed him in warmth.

Outside, the streets were bustling with people, most accompanied by a variety of pets. In the distance, the towering hundred-meter wall encircled Littlewell, an impregnable fortress. Above, birds granted flight rights carried goods from other cities, their silhouettes dotting the sky.

It was a vibrant tableau of a world dominated by beast tamers, where pets played pivotal roles in healthcare, technology, infrastructure, and combat.

In the inaugural year of the Star Pet Era, battle pet relics surfaced across Orithyia, prompting the wild beasts to mutate and develop new abilities. A single divine-level wild monster had the power to decimate a metropolis of over a million inhabitants.

Human territories had shrunk to the point where they could only erect massive base cities and arm themselves with firearms for defense.

Yet, as the levels of the wild monsters in the wilderness accelerated, humanity found itself increasingly outmatched.

From the relics that emerged worldwide, humans discovered unhatched pet eggs. Upon hatching these battle pets and forming contracts with them, humans harnessed the pets' power, gradually regaining stability and holding off the wild monster onslaught.

These wild beasts, along with perilous pet relics that appeared without warning, became the sworn enemies of all people in this world.

Symas' parents were once professional Demon Hunters, registered with the Beast Tamer Association.

However, during a defense against a wild beast tide, the tide breached the base city, and they perished in the conflict.

Only Uncle Callahan, a close friend of his parents, remained to care for him from a young age.

"This time, Littlewell won't succumb so easily," Symas vowed, his fists clenched.

Three years passed.

Unexpectedly, beneath Littlewell, an SS-grade star pet relic was unearthed.

Gigantic abyssal pits opened up across the city, and twelve fearsome overlord-level monsters surged forth, wreaking havoc.

In Littlewell, only the president of the Beast Tamer Association and the City Lord possessed overlord-level battle pets.

Powerless to resist, they ultimately sacrificed themselves along with five overlord-level battle pets in a final stand.

The city fell.

With no time to flee, the large base city, home to over three million souls, was decimated. Not a single life was spared in the onslaught of the overlord-level monsters.

Symas remembered his own end at the hands of a colossal floating eye from the sky.

The overlord-level creature was a thirty-meter-diameter floating eye, with numerous lengthy tentacles and a crimson inverted triangle at its core.

The monster that ended his life was not one of those that emerged from the relic but had instead come from beyond the city's borders.

Uncle Callahan, who had looked after him for more than a decade, was slain by the Scarlet Triangle Overlord. The image of Uncle Callahan shielding him was etched into his memory.

Symas stood in the room, lost in thought for quite some time before snapping back to reality. The television report had shown a massive crater in the street that led deep underground, signaling the existence of an SS-level pet relic beneath Littlewell. Despite the elite beast tamers from the castellan's mansion having already scoured the area, they had turned up nothing.

The precise location of the relic's entrance in Littlewell still needed to be uncovered. Symas knew he couldn't afford to act recklessly, lest he draw the attention of the Dark Order. This organization, a group of human traitors controlled by vile demons within the Trintis Dukedom, sought power from wild demons at the expense of their humanity. Many had been transformed into powerful half-beastmen, specializing in the assassination of emerging geniuses and perceived threats within the four great duchies of Orithyia. And they had a presence in Littlewell too.

In his past life, the Dark Order had hunted down Idod after he had successfully summoned an elite battle pet during the summoning ceremony, leading to a severe injury for the opponent and the death of the young battle pet. Symas couldn't be certain if the Dark Order had infiltrated the castellan's mansion with spies.

Currently, his own strength was far too meager. Were he to blindly pursue the underground relic of Littlewell, he would inevitably become a target for those with ulterior motives. After all, the human heart can be the most fearsome adversary.

To safeguard Uncle Callahan and his sister Jaylee, who had consistently supported him in leveling up his pets, Symas was determined to significantly enhance his power within the next three years.

In his previous life, the battle pet he had summoned at the ceremony was a black iron 3-star, a creature of considerable talent. Without the resources his parents had left him, he would never have managed to elevate his pet to a 7-star elite level within such a short span.

"Ding! The Super God Beast Tamer System is now binding..."

"10%!"

"20%!"

...

"Binding successful. Congratulations to the host for successfully binding the Super God Beast Tamer System!"

"Would you like to claim the novice gift pack?"

As Symas pondered his next move, a soothing voice suddenly resonated within his mind.

"What exactly is the Super God Beast Tamer System?"

Symas surveyed his surroundings with a look of confusion.

"Would you like to claim the beginner's gift pack?"

The voice echoed once more in Symas' ear.

"Yes."

Symas responded tentatively.

"Ding! Congratulations, host, on acquiring a 100 x 100 x 100 block of Void Territory, currently being bound..."

"Congratulations, host, on obtaining a Fire Dragon Egg, awaiting hatching!"

"Congratulations, host, on securing a Level 1 small fire-type pet hive, now under construction in the Void Territory..."
