C10 Achievement Black Iron Level Tamer!

That night, within the Mckinney family villa in Littlewell Base City, Baegla had learned of the pet Symas had exchanged for at the pet store. The Featherweed, a black iron six-star talent pet, could enhance its owner's speed. Upon reaching elite quality, it could even grant its owner the ability to fly. Some special Featherweeds might possess attack skills, and even if they didn't, one could later employ an elite pet breeder to develop such abilities at a certain cost.

"Indeed, this is a good choice," Baegla mused. "Early on, having a pet with both offensive and support abilities will allow for easy maneuvering in level D relics, ready to attack or retreat as needed." He nodded in approval.

"Master, I have retested the new steward by Young Master Idod's side with a diluted devil attracting drug, and there are no issues. Moreover, the demonic rats have scoured the mansion and everyone has been cleared," reported a burly, resolute-faced middle-aged man standing nearby.

"We mustn't let our guard down," Baegla cautioned. "Idod must be accompanied by two experts at all times. We must ensure his safety until he departs for the Imperial College."

The thought of the Dark Order's agents sent a chill through Baegla's eyes. An incident within the mansion warranted a thorough re-investigation. This was merely the first step; the next would be to extend the probe to the entire East District of Littlewell Base City. The Dark Order had dared to threaten his son's life, provoking Baegla's fury. Had it not been for Symas' timely warning, he might have lost Idod. Now, Baegla was determined to strike back, to show the Dark Order that he was not to be underestimated.

Simultaneously, in the East District of Littlewell, a private tamer club's underground establishment featured a bar with a gloomy ambiance, red lamps casting a sullen glow on the walls. Behind the bar, a slender man in a tuxedo, his pupils tinged red, exuded an air of elegance.

Sitting before him was a burly man in a black trench coat, a machete strapped to his waist, radiating a lethal aura. It was clear at a glance that he was a battle-hardened battle pet master, seasoned by countless encounters in the wild.

He was cradling a glass of potent liquor and downed it in one swift motion.

"Has the Mckinney family's pawn been eliminated?"

"Yes, his cover was blown."

"That Idod from the Mckinney family is quite talented. His first battle pet has elite potential. The Imperial College has even added him to their recruitment list."

"What a shame. We've had our pawn in place for nearly twenty years, and just when we're close to success, it all falls apart."

"Any idea what caused the failure?"

"Yes."

"It was because Symas, Idod's classmate, brought up Li Sheng, which made Baegla suspicious."

"Interesting, a high school student?"

"He became suspicious of our agent for no apparent reason. Have we looked into his background?"

At that moment.

The two individuals conversed with an even tone in the dimly lit bar. The muscular man was the leader of the Dark Order's East District, an elite tamer.

The bartender was an intelligence operative, typically masquerading as a bartender in the club above to conceal his true identity.

"I've done some digging."

"There's nothing to raise suspicion. His parents were casualties of war, leaving only a family friend to look after him, who is merely a black iron-level tamer. At this year's Summoning Ceremony, he only had a black iron three-star Witchwood."

"His talent is above average, but not exceptional."

"Strange, I can't shake the feeling that something's off."

"That Symas kid has disrupted our plans. We can't let him get away with it so easily!"

"I'll take it upon myself to investigate further."

With their conversation concluded, the burly man in the black coat finished his drink and stood up. He walked a few steps and then vanished into the bar's shadows.

The slender man behind the counter remained silent. His leader's pet excelled at stealth and possessed elite shapeshifting abilities. Escaping unscathed, even from a stronger adversary, wouldn't be a challenge.

In the early hours of the morning.

Within the Void Territory.

In a small fire-type pet's nest, a black iron Charmander was nearing the end of its evolution.

The fire attribute within it erupted into a brilliant red glow, enveloping the Charmander's limbs and body.

The creature, previously a mere forty centimeters tall, shot up to nearly seventy centimeters, its size significantly increased.

The crimson scales adorning its body had become even more tightly packed. On its forehead, two nascent dragon horns protruded, though they appeared quite delicate. Yet, the most striking feature was the Charmander's imposing Dragon's Might aura. Its scythe-like dragon wings, previously tucked behind its back, now unfurled and fluttered twice. A stream of pale red dragon's breath spewed forth from its mouth, stretching out for about six meters and noticeably raising the temperature around it.

Nickname: Charmander

Quality: Overlord Ten Stars

Attribute: Fire

Level: One Star

Skills: Dragon's Roar, Fireball, Firewing Cut, Threefold Sprint...

Buff: 100% increase in endurance, 15% immunity to fire attacks.

Symas accessed the Charmander's attribute panel, intrigued to find that the immunity to fire attacks had improved by an additional 5%. Skill-wise, the Charmander had advanced to a one-star level. Overwhelmed by the burgeoning power within, it let out an uncontrollable roar.

"Roar!"

"Dragon's Roar."

A deep, resonant dragon's chant erupted from its diminutive form as it shook its head. Its gaze then shifted to the Witchwood by the nearby spring. Surveying the area, Symas realized there was only one pet around that he could tease.

Sensing the Charmander's Dragon's Might, the Witchwood recoiled in fear and swiftly vanished beneath several dark red boulders.

"Ding! Congratulations, host, for successfully nurturing your first black iron level pet. You are now eligible to claim the black iron level tamer achievement!"

"Would you like to claim it?"

"Claim."

"Achievement claimed successfully."

[Achievement: Black iron level tamer.]

[Effect: All pets' attributes will be permanently doubled.]

"Attributes doubled."

A surge of excitement flashed in Symas's eyes, quickly followed by a jubilant smile. This meant that if the Charmander could initially cast Fireball five times at the one-star stage, with the attribute doubling, it would now benefit from increased power storage, enhanced skill potency, and improved endurance.

A one-star battle pet was now significantly stronger than many two-star counterparts. The system's rewards were incredibly formidable, and this was just the beginning. As the game progressed into the late period, elite and overlord level adversaries could easily misjudge, falling prey to Symas's cunning strategies.
