C10 Achievement, Black Iron Level Beast Tamer!

At nightfall in Littlewell City, within the McKinney family villa, Baegla had just learned of the pet Symas had exchanged at the pet store. The Remex Spiritual Plant, a black iron six-star talent pet, was known for its ability to boost its owner's speed. Upon reaching elite quality, it could even grant its owner the power of flight. Some even possessed attack skills, and those that didn't could be developed by an elite pet breeder with some investment later on.

"Indeed, it's a solid choice," Baegla acknowledged. "Early on, a pet that can both attack and support is invaluable, especially within Level D pet relics. It allows for both offense and a strategic retreat."

"Master, I've retested the new steward by Young Master's side with a diluted devil attracting potion, and there are no issues. Moreover, the demonic rats have scrutinized many within the mansion, and all is clear," reported a burly, resolute-faced middle-aged man standing nearby.

"Complacency is not an option," Baegla cautioned. "Idod must be accompanied by two experts at all times. Until he departs for Beast Tamer University in Farhaven, his safety is paramount."

The thought of the Dark Order's agents sent a chill through Baegla's eyes. An incident within the mansion necessitated a thorough reexamination. His initial response was to sweep the eastern district of Littlewell City for any trace of the Dark Order. They had dared to threaten his son's life, a provocation that ignited his fury. Had Symas not warned him, his son might have been lost. Now, Baegla was determined to strike back, to show the Dark Order that he was not a man to be crossed.

Simultaneously, in the eastern district of Littlewell, a private beast tamer's club housed a dimly lit bar. Red lights dangled from the walls, casting a sinister glow. Behind the bar stood a slender man in a tuxedo, his pupils tinged red, exuding an air of elegance.

Before him, a man took a drink—a hulking figure in a black trench coat with a curved blade at his waist, radiating a lethal presence. It was clear he was a seasoned battle pet tamer, hardened by countless encounters in the wild.

He cradled a glass of potent liquor and downed it in one swift motion.

"Has the McKinney family's pawn been taken off the board?"

"Yes, his cover was blown."

"That Idod McKinney has notable talent. The first elite-grade battle pet from Farhaven's Beast Tamer University has already been scouted by them."

"What a shame. We've had our pawn in place for nearly two decades, only to see it all fall apart at the last hurdle."

"Any idea what tipped them off?"

"Yes."

"It was Symas, Idod's classmate, who brought up Li Sheng, and that made Baegla suspicious."

"Interesting, a middle schooler?"

"He became wary of our agent for no apparent reason. Did anyone look into his background?"

At that moment,

Inside the dimly lit bar, the two men conversed in even tones. The muscular man was the leader of the Dark Order's base in the eastern district, an elite beast tamer by trade.

The bartender, an informant in disguise, typically used his role in the club above to conceal his true identity.

"I've done some digging."

"Nothing stands out. His parents were casualties of war, leaving him in the care of a family friend, a mere black iron level beast tamer. At the summoning ceremony, he only had a black iron three-star Fire Vine."

"His talents are above average, but not exceptional."

"Strange, I can't shake the feeling that we're missing something."

"That Symas kid has thrown a wrench in our plans. We can't let him get away with that so easily!"

"I'll take it upon myself to investigate further."

With their conversation concluded, the burly man in the black trench coat finished his drink and stood up to leave. A few steps later, he vanished into the shadows of the underground bar.

The slender man behind the counter remained silent. His leader's pet excelled at stealth and possessed an elite-level shapeshifting ability. Even if outmatched, slipping away unnoticed wouldn't be a problem.

As dawn approached,

Within the Void Territory,

A small black iron Charmander in the fire type pet hive completed its advancement.

The innate fire energy within burst forth in a brilliant red glow, enveloping the Charmander's limbs and body.

From a mere forty centimeters, the Charmander grew to an impressive seventy, its size significantly increased.

The crimson scales adorning its body were now more tightly packed.

Two nascent dragon horns protruded from its forehead, albeit still delicate in appearance.

Yet, the most striking feature was the Charmander's imposing dragon aura. The scythe-like dragon wings, once tucked behind its back, unfurled and fluttered twice. It exhaled a pale red dragon breath that streaked six meters, noticeably raising the ambient temperature.

Nickname: Charmander

Quality: Overlord, ten stars

Attribute: Fire

Level: One star

Skills: Dragon's Roar, Fireball, Firewing Slash, Threefold Sprint...

Enhanced Skill: 100% increase in endurance, 15% immunity to fire-type attacks.

Symas accessed the Charmander's attribute panel.

To his surprise, the immunity to fire-type attacks had improved by an additional 5%.

Skill-wise, the Charmander had advanced to the one-star level.

Feeling the tumultuous power within, it unleashed a roar that couldn't be contained.

"Roar!"

"Dragon's Roar."

From its diminutive form erupted a deep, resonant dragon chant, and it shook its head.

Its gaze then settled on the Fire Vine creature by the clear spring.

He surveyed the surroundings.

This was the only pet nearby he could dominate.

Sensing the Charmander's Dragon's Might, the Fire Vine recoiled in fear and swiftly burrowed beneath several dark red boulders, vanishing from sight.

"Ding! Congratulations, host, on successfully nurturing your first black iron level pet. You are now eligible to claim the black iron level beast tamer achievement!"

"Would you like to claim it?"

"Claim."

"Achievement successfully claimed."

[Achievement: Black iron level beast tamer.]

[Benefit: Permanently double the attributes of all pets.]

"Attributes doubled."

A surge of excitement flickered in Symas's eyes, followed by a smile of sheer delight. This meant that, for instance, if the Charmander could initially cast Fireball only five times at the one-star stage, with doubled attributes, it would now have enhanced power reserves, increased skill potency, and improved endurance.

A one-star level battle pet was now significantly more formidable than many at the two-star level.

The system's rewards were astoundingly generous.

And this was just the beginning.

As the Late Period approached, elite and overlord level adversaries would likely misjudge and fall prey to Symas's cunning strategies.
