C20 Animalization Potion!!
Animalization Potion.
As its name implies, this potion has the power to transform humans into beast-like creatures. Created from the blood of Orcish extracted from pet relics and combined with various pet materials, the potion has been in existence for only thirty years.
Once ingested, the animalization potion endows one with a physique akin to that of an Orcish—strong and capable of battling black iron-level battle pets without falling short.
However, the potion is strictly regulated by the authorities due to its significant side effects. Overconsumption can lead to a loss of rationality, resulting in a complete transformation into an actual Orcish. Moreover, withdrawal from the potion's effects can cause a period of bodily rejection, leaving one weakened for a month or more.
At this critical juncture, Rimid was out of options. He hadn't anticipated Symas being such a formidable opponent, someone who had anticipated his moves and prepared accordingly. The black iron-level fire dragon pet was not something he could defeat quickly.
The only way to swiftly take it down was to consume the animalization potion and harness the power of the Orcs to overpower and slay the creature.
"Charmander, attack!"
Inside the room, Rimid, now fully animalized, immediately directed the Charmander.
Boom!
A burst of red light emanated from its mouth as it unleashed a small fireball, the size of an adult's head, targeting Rimid just a few steps ahead. The fireball hit Rimid's transformed body with a resounding impact.
Shua!
Rimid, with newfound agility, managed to dodge the attack. Only his chest's inner armor was grazed, showing a slight scorch mark with minimal damage.
"This time, you won't survive," Rimid bellowed with fury.
Like a ravenous wolf of the jungle, he charged through the shattered doorway, becoming a blur as his hands morphed into razor-sharp claws, glinting with a chilling light.
"Corey is moving too slowly," Symas thought to himself, watching Rimid burst into the room.
The entire sequence seemed lengthy, but from the moment Rimid broke through the door to the clash between them, merely six breaths had passed.
"Charmander, attack—bite him!"
Symas swiftly directed his Charmander into action.
"Dragon's Roar!"
"Roar!"
The Charmander took a deep breath, its belly slightly expanding before unleashing a resounding dragon's roar. The sonic assault left Rimid momentarily disoriented.
But it was only a brief effect.
Rimid's three battle pets, feeling the Dragon's Might, hunkered down in their pockets, coiling their bodies in fear.
Outside, in Valengor Residence.
Lights flickered on in many homes as residents became aware of the commotion on the sixth floor. Several people promptly phoned the City Guards to report a tamer engaging in combat.
Such battles were rare within the base city and clearly violated regulations.
Below, curious onlookers from various floors peered out, witnessing the bursts of flame emanating from above. The neighborhood was home to many tamers, who initially wanted to investigate but grew apprehensive at the disturbance.
Moments later, the sound of a dragon's roar caused many black iron tamers' battle pets, previously eager to join the fray, to withdraw into the safety of their homes.
...
"Firewing Cut!"
Realizing that Dragon's Roar had little effect, Charmander's sickle dragon wings blazed to life with fire. Empowered by the flames, it lunged at Rimid.
Symas charged alongside his dragon pet, flanking their opponent from both sides.
"Heh."
"A fledgling dragon barely at black iron level, and a middle schooler who's just acquired a dragon pet without any body tempering."
A smirk crept into Rimid's eyes.
Perfect.
He was ready to eliminate them both.
To Rimid, the fire dragon whelp was the biggest threat. Its flame-enhanced attacks appeared formidable, and a dragon pet's battle power was unmatched at its tier.
At full strength.
Even battle pets rated black iron or five to six stars, adept in melee combat, might struggle to contend with it. The dragon whelp was already showing the poise of a skilled fighter.
Rimid and Charmander clashed fiercely.
Bang!
A dull thud echoed through the space.
The entire floor shook as the flames from the Charmander's Firewing Cut attack scorched one wall to a charred black.
Rimid, in his Werewolf form, had his sharp claws clamped tightly around the Charmander's fiery wings, his face contorted with strain.
He gritted his teeth.
The physical body of this fire-type dragon pet was astonishingly formidable. His animalized form could easily slay any battle pet below the rank of black iron five stars.
But he was only slightly better than his adversary.
As the Charmander charged, it unleashed another skill, tripling its speed.
At that moment.
Symas agilely darted in front of Rimid.
Rimid braced himself to withstand Symas' blow, dismissing the thought of any damage from the feeble punches of a middle schooler. His priority was to shred the Charmander's wings.
But as he forcefully pierced several bloody holes in the Charmander's wings,
Puff—
Suddenly.
To Rimid's surprise,
A stabbing pain erupted from his back, and a short segment of a white bone blade protruded from his chest. Symas' right hand now bore a half-meter-long bone blade.
With his past life's wealth of combat experience, he had directly pierced Rimid's left heart and twisted the blade, causing catastrophic damage.
"How can this be possible?"
"When did he grab a weapon?"
Rimid's mind raced with questions.
He had clearly seen that Symas was unarmed when he charged, which is why he felt assured that even a few punches from the seemingly weak youth would have no effect.
But unexpectedly,
Puff!
As Rimid registered the pain in his chest,
The Charmander, wracked with agony from its wings, snapped open its fearsome jaws. With a powerful flap, it broke free, its front claws sinking into Rimid's chest. It leaped up and clamped its jaws around Rimid's neck, pinning him to the ground.
A thunderous crash followed.
Silence fell, punctuated only by the panting of Symas and the Charmander, and the crackling of flames on the dragon's wings.
Rimid was defeated.
The flames on the Charmander's wings had been snuffed out, revealing several bloody punctures. Yet, thanks to its remarkable healing abilities, the wounds scabbed over in mere moments.
Outside Valengor Residence, three hundred meters to the north, Corey, with a pair of green wings adorning his back, had just arrived near the neighborhood when he was greeted by a resounding dragon roar emanating from within the district.
He also detected the presence of an animalization potion.
Under the influence of his psychic force, the aura of the potion appeared as a conspicuous ball of black mist, brimming with malicious intent. It was a power derived from the blood of the Orcish found within the relics, originating from an alternate Dimension.
"Crap," Corey muttered, his face clouding with concern.
He hadn't anticipated that the Dark Order would make their move so swiftly.
