C10 Fall!

In the enveloping darkness, chilling sword light emanated a terrifying presence, sweeping through the air around Lin Xi as if to obliterate everything in its path, materializing instantly.

The sword-wielding masked figure leapt into action, his blade cutting through the air with a formidable force. Countless sword shadows pierced the sky, each strike from the Jade Purity expert fierce and unyielding. The overwhelming sword Qi filled the area, the aura of annihilation surging forth like a tidal wave.

"Die!" The word, icy and sharp, burst from the lips of the masked swordsman. Lin Xi's odd behavior had taken him by surprise; what he had anticipated to be an easy task had become unexpectedly challenging.

Simultaneously, the masked swordsman's blade glowed ominously, splitting into two ethereal swords in a flash. Most of his power was channeled into one sword, descending upon Lin Xi, while the rest was directed at Lu Hao with a vicious slash.

"It's merely a sword!" Lin Xi declared calmly, his demeanor as if he were in a trance. His eyes burned red, his body radiating intense heat, as if he were engulfed in flames. With a single palm strike, a dark bead emerged, held within his grasp.

With a thunderous roar, the Dark Void Abyss itself seemed to shudder.

Swords shattered, winds howled, and figures were sent flying.

Blood was spilled, light burst forth, and energy surged.

Lin Xi stood at the precipice of the Dark Void Abyss, his presence unmatched.

"Lu Hao, remember to survive. Tell my father everything that has transpired here!" Lu Hao noticed the transformation in Lin Xi.

Paralyzed, Lu Hao found himself unable to move or speak, but he managed to nod with great effort.

"Young fool, did you really think you could defy fate? Now, I will ensure your complete demise!" The masked swordsman's aura erupted with malevolence, as a silent sword Qi materialized. With his finger as a blade, he lunged at Lin Xi with a deadly thrust.

"Lu Hao, remember my words. And remember this too: I will surely survive." Lin Xi, realizing the inevitability of the sword's strike, let his Aura Explosion burst forth, a glint of cold resolve in his eyes as he offered the masked swordsman a knowing smile.

Suddenly, a sense of foreboding struck the heart of the masked swordsman as he caught sight of Lin Xi's unsettling grin.

"You want me dead? You'll die first!" Lin Xi lunged toward the edge of the Dark Void Abyss. Unable to dodge the sword, he harnessed the Chaos Bead to use the sword's momentum to drag the sword-wielding masked man with him toward the abyss.

"You're insane, completely insane!" The masked man realized Lin Xi's madness. He wasn't ready to die, unaware that Lin Xi was counting on his fear.

But he was out of options. Desperately, he struck with his palm, trying to shove Lin Xi away, but to no avail. Their descent into the abyss remained unaltered.

"I'm not ready to die!" Panic surged through the masked man as he tried to push Lin Xi away, but he couldn't budge him. Suddenly, he felt a powerful suction emanating from Lin Xi, draining his energy and threatening to absorb all his cultivation. Fear gripped him tighter as his eyes widened in terror, unable to comprehend Lin Xi's bizarre abilities.

Lin Xi watched as Lu Hao grew more distant above him, his face streaked with tears. With a wistful smile, Lin Xi hadn't anticipated that he would ultimately plummet into the abyss.

"Third Young Master... Third Young Master... Third Young Master..." Lu Hao's voice echoed in despair, his hand outstretched, trying to grasp Lin Xi, but he was beyond reach.

"So you wish to die? I'll oblige!" The masked man, realizing escape was futile, knew that falling into the abyss meant certain death. In his final moments, he was determined to take Lin Xi down first, unleashing all his power in a ferocious attack.

"Boom!" Lin Xi's mind was filled with a relentless barrage of noise. He felt as if his entire body was under siege, as though countless fists – or, to use an Earthly expression, a barrage of cannonballs – were pummeling him relentlessly. It was unbearable, as if he were caught in an endless series of explosions.

Gasping for air, Lin Xi coughed up blood, his descent into the abyss accelerating. Lu Hao's figure, along with the edge of the abyss, faded from view as darkness enveloped him.

"Rumble!" Lin Xi could only perceive the earth-shattering booming sounds echoing in his mind, the aura of death enveloping him.

"Am I really going to die like this?" Lin Xi questioned himself internally.

"No! I've only just arrived in the Alien Realm, and to die like this... I refuse to accept it!" In the next instant, Lin Xi's inner voice roared. His spirit shook, his thoughts raced, and he abruptly opened his eyes, a sharp glint flashing from within. His eyes were bloodshot, and in his hand, a bead radiating with the light of chaos emerged.

"I want to experience the thrill of a beatdown!" Lin Xi bellowed, each word tinged with blood. As he opened his eyes, the Chaos Bead seemed to spring to life. He felt a surge of combat will coursing through him. Lin Xi unleashed a punch.

"Thud!" The sword-wielding, masked man spat out a mouthful of blood, staining the leaves of the Dark Void Abyss crimson.

"You... monster!" The masked swordsman was petrified. His mind reeled, overwhelmed by the realization that Lin Xi was far too formidable. He had faced opponents a whole realm above him and never felt such dread. In Lin Xi's presence, he was confronted with what seemed to be the most terrifying force in the world. Despite being battered to the brink of death, Lin Xi could still unleash such fearsome combat power. This was beyond monstrous; it was unprecedented and unheard of, a feat likely unmatched in the history of the Clear Profound Continent.

"The one who's going to die is you!" Lin Xi's gaze was fiery with rage, his body radiating a lethal aura. His face twisted into a snarl as he coiled his fist and hammered it down on the masked swordsman like a relentless drumbeat.

"I'll make you feel everything I've endured!" Lin Xi was nearly beside himself, driven by the conviction that if he didn't annihilate the masked man before him, he would be the one to perish.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" The thunderous impacts resounded without end. Lin Xi was insatiable in his assault, expending every ounce of his strength to pummel the masked man, eventually even resorting to using his feet.

At first, the masked swordsman could still emit cries of agony, but as the battle wore on, he became silent. His spine had been shattered by Lin Xi's relentless assault, leaving him to die in excruciating pain. Confusion lingered in his eyes until the end; he couldn't fathom how Lin Xi, a mere Clear Qi Level Three cultivator, could unleash such formidable combat prowess. Unbeknownst to him, Lin Xi possessed the Chaos Bead, and it was her fierce determination to survive that allowed her to tap into such immense strength. The Chaos Bead's power was indeed miraculous.

"Is he dead?" Lin Xi gazed at the motionless form of the masked swordsman, his hands covered in thick, crimson blood that carried a pungent scent. This realization hit him hard as he scanned his surroundings, only to find enveloping darkness.

The Dark Void Abyss seemed infinitely deep, like a bottomless pit into which he was perpetually falling.

Unable to sense any aura, Lin Xi was surrounded by an impenetrable blackness. It was then that he truly grasped the reason behind the name 'Dark Void Abyss'—it was a place devoid of light, an eternal darkness.

"Is this where I die?" A wave of bitterness washed over Lin Xi. He hadn't anticipated that even after defeating the masked swordsman, he might still meet his end.

A faint nostalgia began to well up within him, bringing forth a montage of precious memories from Earth. Lin Xi mused that these must be the reflections one sees before death, and he was filled with a sense of melancholy.

Suddenly, there was a "Bam!" Lin Xi sensed a glimmer of chaotic light and felt as though he had collided with something.

"Crack!" The distinct sound of a tree snapping echoed, followed by a series of impacts.

"Trees... There are trees in the Dark Void Abyss... If I haven't fallen to the very bottom, there's still a chance for survival!" Hope sparked in Lin Xi's heart. His innate refusal to surrender easily was a defining trait.

"If I, Lin Xi, can survive this, one day I will surely dominate the Clear Profound Continent!" With a surge of excitement, Lin Xi made a silent vow to himself.

He reached out and felt a body; it was the body of the masked swordsman. "I'll use you as a human cushion!" Lin Xi struggled to adjust his position, trying to minimize the impact against the trees. The unfortunate masked swordsman, even in death, didn't understand that he was being used as a human cushion by Lin Xi. But Lin Xi couldn't be blamed; he was simply making the best out of a bad situation. If anyone was to be blamed, it was the masked swordsman who had forced Lin Xi into a life-or-death struggle.

As Lin Xi plummeted, he had no idea how long he had been falling. All he knew was that the swordsman's body was being battered beyond recognition, and now his own body was beginning to collide with the trees. Each brush with the branches brought excruciating pain, and he felt his chances of survival slipping away.

"Whoosh!" Suddenly, a gust of wind arose, and Lin Xi felt as if winds were blowing from every direction, the force swirling around him. The body of the masked swordsman had long since been reduced to mush.

"Boom!" Simultaneously, a booming sound echoed in Lin Xi's mind. He sensed an overwhelming presence and realized he was falling.

"This is... water!" Lin Xi's heart surged with joy as he realized he had plunged into water, not onto the jagged rocks of an abyss as he had feared.

"I, Lin Xi, am truly blessed. Fortune has smiled upon me!" he whispered to himself.

But the next instant, panic set in, and his worry intensified. "I... I forgot, I can't swim!" Lin Xi screamed internally, convinced he was about to die.

He thrashed about in the water, feeling the grip of death closing in. Just then, a powerful wind picked up, and he sensed a chaotic light flickering around him. Suddenly, he felt as though he was being lifted. His consciousness grew hazy, and he glimpsed something indistinct—a bead, the wind, or perhaps a branch. Instinctively, he reached out and grabbed it, only to lose consciousness completely.

"Awoo!"

From the depths of the Dark Void Abyss, a chorus of beastly roars echoed as a body drifted in the river below.
