C14 Chaos Scripture!(1)

"Drip, drip, drip..." In that moment, Lin Xi heard the intermittent sound of water dripping.

"There's still flowing water here... True to the lair of a Rank Five Profound Beast, it's incredibly thorough!" Lin Xi understood that water was the essence of life. Often, one could do without many things, but never without water.

Upon introspecting, Lin Xi discovered that his injuries had fully healed, and his cultivation had advanced to the level of a Purity Cultivator. This was a significant achievement for Lin Xi. Having faced life and death, he had at last made a breakthrough.

"I can pass the Academy's Profound Examination. It seems the medicinal properties of the Pure Fragrance Flower are quite effective."

"And there's potential for further breakthroughs!"

Lin Xi realized that the effects of the Pure Fragrance Flower within him had not been fully assimilated, and he could continue to make progress.

Rising from the stone, Lin Xi stepped into the water to cleanse himself of the grime.

Half an hour later, he emerged feeling refreshed and changed into a comfortable outfit from his Storage Ring. It was a good thing he had spare clothes, or he would have been left with nothing to wear.

Lin Xi then sat cross-legged on the rock, attuning himself to his body.

After his transformation, Lin Xi felt that his body was exponentially stronger than before, untouched by even a speck of dust, making it an ideal vessel for cultivation.

What Lin Xi didn't realize was that his body, having been purified by Chaos Qi, had undergone a complete metamorphosis, transforming into an innate body. This was not merely a physique suitable for cultivating Clear Qi.

This so-called innate body was a wondrous entity, even in the true Cultivation World. Such a body, said to be encountered once in ten thousand years, was the stuff of legend. With this innate body, cultivation efforts could be redoubled, achieving in an hour what might take an ordinary person a year. This was an astronomical difference, the kind every cultivator aspired to.

Yet Lin Xi was oblivious to all this; he only recognized that his body had changed.

"Cultivation..." Lin Xi was aware that the Origin Celestial Sovereign was a mythical figure in Taoism. His techniques might very well belong to the Cultivation World, possessing the power to strengthen those who practiced them.

In any world, whether on Earth or in the Alien Realm, strength is of utmost importance. One might lack power, but one must never lack strength! Previously, Lin Xi considered himself quite ordinary, but in the Alien Realm, armed with the Chaos Celestial Scripture and the Chaos Bead, he sensed a profound shift in his life.

His confidence was rooted in the Chaos Bead, a wondrous artifact. Lin Xi was convinced that this enigmatic bead held more secrets than just the Chaos Celestial Scripture. It surely possessed other functions, all of which Lin Xi was eager to discover in due time.

Lin Xi pondered the First Stage of the Chaos Celestial Scripture, 'Qi Movement and Spirit Calmness'. Seated cross-legged on a meditation cushion in his room, he focused intently, calming his Qi and initiating its circulation.

"Chaos stirs as the heavens move; within the universe, my heart seeks the true path. I am one with Heaven and Earth, tranquility shifts the infinite. With the Nine-circle Chaos, transcend and become holy..."

After completing a full cycle of the technique, Lin Xi felt no trace of Qi. He wasn't surprised by the absence of Qi flowing into his body and remained composed. He calmly resumed the circulation of the technique, silently reciting the scripture in his heart.

Time slipped away, and before he knew it, the duration of three incense sticks had passed. During that time, Lin Xi had practiced the Chaos Celestial Scripture over a hundred times, yet without any noticeable effect. His meridians were devoid of Qi, much less spiritual energy.

A wave of frustration washed over Lin Xi, accompanied by an overwhelming sense of exhaustion that threatened to render him unconscious.

"I refuse to believe that I can't master such a legendary technique," Lin Xi thought, a spark of determination in his eyes. His tenacity was unmatched; once he set his mind to something, he would pursue it relentlessly until he achieved success.

"I must reach the level of a Great Purity Cultivator!"

With renewed resolve, Lin Xi's mind surged with energy, and a peculiar gleam appeared in his eyes. He once again immersed himself in the Qi between Heaven and Earth, breathing deeply and persisting with the Chaos Celestial Scripture. However, even after nearly a thousand repetitions, the result was the same—no effect. Lin Xi felt on the verge of madness.

Lin Xi fought against the pull of sleep and fatigue, holding steadfast to his conviction. He focused on his breathing, repeating the cycle in his mind over and over, never ceasing to think about the next time.

As Lin Xi practiced his breathing exercises, time slipped away quietly. Before he knew it, most of the night had passed. Outside his den, darkness enveloped everything, so thick he couldn't see his own hand before his face, and the silence was profound, broken only occasionally by the sound of falling leaves.

Still deep in his cultivation, Lin Xi maintained a vigilant mind, silently reciting the Chaos Celestial Scripture. His sole focus was the continuous flow of the Chaos Celestial Scripture, seeking to understand the essence of the aura.

In this moment, Lin Xi sat motionless, eyes tightly shut, as still as a piece of wood, cross-legged on a stone where spiritual energy converged.

Meanwhile, a Rank Five Cloud Wing Eagle crept close to the stone where Lin Xi sat. It lifted its wings slowly, its eyes reflecting a complex mix of emotions. It thought that by killing Lin Xi, it could gain its freedom. Yet, it hesitated, its wings pausing mid-air.

Suddenly, Lin Xi sensed a faint buzzing sound, and at the same time, he felt a wisp of aura enter his pores and weave into his body, moving gently through him.

As this delicate but tangible aura emerged, the colorful Chaos Bead within Lin Xi's Purple Mansion Sea Consciousness began to float, drifting through the air. With each movement, it released a burst of dense Chaos Aura that wafted around before seeping into Lin Xi's meridians and circulating throughout his body.

Simultaneously, a potent aura radiated from Lin Xi, instilling a sense of imminent danger in the Rank Five Cloud Wing Eagle. It quickly backed away, its heart pounding with relief that it had not been too slow to escape. Had it not retreated, Lin Xi would have surely ended its life.

After some time, the eagle noticed Lin Xi remained still and finally relaxed, returning to its nest. It abandoned any thoughts of harming Lin Xi, realizing that any movement on its part would have spelled certain death.

Moments later, Lin Xi experienced a thunderous roar within his mind. The aura coursing through his body suddenly expanded, reaching into every nook and cranny. An unusual sensation emerged in the forefront of Lin Xi's consciousness.
