Mo Xiaoyu nearly let slip the phrase "sucker" but caught herself just in time. Still, judging by their interaction, the two seemed quite familiar with each other.

Lee Wei was feeling a bit downcast.

"Come on, Ms. Xiaoyu, can't your brother ever snag some genuine items?"

"Pfft, you? The last time you claimed to have snagged an original Vincent van Gogh worth over a hundred million. But when Grandpa took a look, he said it was more like a 'Gao Fan' than a Van Gogh!" Mo Xiaoyu said scornfully.

Lee Wei's face flushed, and he was at a loss for words.

The memory of that last incident was mortifying, but Elder Mo smoothly stepped in to change the subject.

"Enough with the bickering, you two. Xiaoyu, come here. Let Grandpa introduce you to Liu Gaang. Remember, I mentioned him yesterday? He's the one who found that incredible deal," Elder Mo said, gesturing toward Liu Gaang.

At that, Mo Xiaoyu's interest was piqued, and she fixed Liu Gaang with an eager gaze. "Handsome, you're the lucky guy Grandpa was talking about? When can you show me how to score deals like that? You have no idea, I'm so short on cash lately, I can't even afford to drive my car. I'm stuck taking the bus. Do you really have the heart to let a delicate beauty like me squeeze onto public transport? So, how about you teach me your bargain-hunting secrets?"

Liu Gaang broke out in a cold sweat. He hadn't expected such a bold approach from the stunning woman before him. Sure, she was gorgeous, but humility goes a long way. How could she so unabashedly refer to herself as a 'delicate beauty'?

And bargain-hunting? Teaching her? It wasn't as if finding deals was a simple matter. If it were that easy to learn, the world would be overrun with bargain hunters, and soon there'd be no deals left to find.

Elder Mo came to Liu Gaang's rescue with a timely interjection. "Xiaoyu, quit your fooling around. Bargain-hunting is all about keen eyes and luck. How could Liu possibly teach you? Besides, if you hadn't been so set on making your 'independence declaration' and proving that modern women can stand on their own, you wouldn't be in this predicament, would you? If you're out of money, why on earth did you end up on the bus?"

"Leaving a perfectly good job to become a nurse—this is absolutely maddening!" Elder Mo exclaimed in frustration.

Mo Xiaoyu pouted, clearly upset. "Grandpa, what's so bad about being a nurse? You're a war veteran; how can you say such things?"

"You little rascal!" Elder Mo's brow furrowed with irritation.

"Come on, come on, Ms. Xiaoyu, no more backtalk with Elder Mo. Let's get moving. Standing here at the hotel entrance with all this foot traffic, we're like a sideshow attraction," Lee Wei interjected, trying to defuse the situation.

"You're the sideshow attraction!" Mo Xiaoyu redirected her annoyance at Lee Wei.

"Yes, yes, I am," Lee Wei conceded with a resigned tone. With that, Mo Xiaoyu ceased her complaints, and they all proceeded into the hotel.

Upon their arrival, the hotel manager scurried over and respectfully addressed Lee Wei, "Young Master Lee, welcome. How may I assist you?"

The Celestial Eternity Great Hotel was part of the Lee family's empire, and with the young master visiting for a meal, it was the manager's duty to ensure everything was impeccably arranged.

Opportunities to curry favor were rare, and he was determined to seize this one.

"Manager Sun, please prepare a private room for us. I'm dining with some friends," Lee Wei casually instructed as he gestured dismissively.

"Certainly, Young Master Lee," Manager Sun replied with a deferential nod before leading the way to the hotel's most prestigious private room.

Once inside, Mo Xiaoyu deliberately chose a seat next to Liu Gaang, her intentions clear—she hadn't forgotten about getting lessons in bargain-hunting from him.

"Handsome, what would you like to eat? Just tell me, and I'll order for you," Mo Xiaoyu offered sweetly, menu in hand.

"Anything's fine," Liu Gaang responded, struggling to maintain his composure in the face of her flirtatious smile. If she kept it up, he was sure to be completely enchanted.

Liu Gaang, a connoisseur of beautiful legs, had been restless ever since laying eyes on Mo Xiaoyu's impeccable limbs.

"Just order the priciest dishes; that's always the right choice," chimed in Zhang Xiaoli with a playful wink. She proceeded to order an extravagant array of delicacies, including shark fin soup, bird's nest, abalone, and lobster.
