C16 The Separation

As Lee Feng nursed a growing headache, the soft sobs of the woman cradled in his arms reached his ears. He furrowed his brow, a pang of sympathy flashing in his eyes as he gently patted Yu Dulin's back, offering words of comfort.

"Come on now, no more tears. Everyone's watching," he said, his voice tender yet audible.

"Mhm," she murmured, nodding. A sudden realization seemed to strike Yu Dulin
