C10 Extortion

Not far from my house, there was a coffin parked there. It had already been six days.

This was the coffin of Yang Min's grandfather, the old man from the Yang family. Tomorrow was his seventh, but Yang Min had been kneeling there all night, waiting for her grandfather's return.

In the evening, in the Yang family's mourning hall, the coffin was laid out horizontally. The mourning hall was simple and crude, made of clay bricks. The two windows were papered and still had a breeze blowing through them.

The wind blew in, messing up the greasy hair of the figure kneeling in front of the coffin in the mourning hall, this was the grandson of the Yang family's old man, Yang Min.

There was a basin beside him with burning paper, the dim light shone onto Yang Min's face, his two black eye circles were especially eye-catching, his eyes were also bloodshot from not being able to rest for a long time, it was truly frightening.

Even though she was very tired, Yang Min didn't dare to sleep at all at this time. He was afraid that his grandfather would come back while he was sleeping, and then, his grandfather's ghost wouldn't be able to find him because he was sleeping.

I was also impressed by his perseverance, but it was a pity that my parents had died early and my family was missing. I had to be self-reliant when I was very young.

As for A Su's parents, because they didn't agree to the marriage between me and A Su, two years ago, we had already cut off all communication with them. However, A Su's mother would occasionally send people to secretly greet them.

The outside wind started to whimper, and soon after, the wind got stronger and stronger, all the way until Yang Min blew open the door of the mourning hall. "Creak!" Yang Min woke up from her drowsiness, she guessed that his grandfather was about to come, and he was very happy, because she could finally see him again.

However, at the moment he turned around, the outside of the door was completely empty. He was somewhat disappointed that no one had come over, but at this moment, there was movement from the coffin behind him. He looked behind him, and before he could even cry out, his vision went black …

That night was not a peaceful one for the old man from the Yang family. In the morning, the events of last night had already spread. Next time, it would become a topic the whole village would talk about.

"Ai, have you heard? Two chickens from Ergouzi's house were eaten by something last night. Right now, their yard is covered with chicken feathers and the ground is covered with blood! " In order to increase the atmosphere, Aunt Li intentionally dragged out the latter part of his sentence.

"Chicken?" What else could it be, weasel, humph! " The simple and honest Blackie felt somewhat angry when he heard the words' chicken '. After all, his family had stolen several weasels.

"The most important thing isn't here. Last night, several families' livestock were bitten by something and died a miserable death. Their bodies and hands and feet were separated as if they were forcefully torn off by someone. It looked like this cow had struggled for a long time before finally dying! It hurts just thinking about it. Hiss! " Aunt Li continued.

"What a wicked thing to do!" Only a beast would do such a thing! " This was Old Wang's wife, his wife Wang, who was standing nearby. She had heard people talking about her cow, so she complained.

Regardless of whether it was farm work or carrying heavy weight, the Wang family worked like a dog on top of this cow; it was the only labourer apart from Old Wang. Plus, after spending a few years with this cow, their family had a deep relationship with it.

I bought meat from a village store to nourish A Su's body. As I was rushing back, I also heard what they said under the shade of a big tree on the roadside. This made me interested.

After all, my good brother legume fructus was killed by a weasel, so the deaths of these animals might be related to the weasel.

"Hey, tell me in detail what exactly happened last night. Why is it that the chickens from Ergou's house and the cows from Old Wang's house all mysteriously died?" I asked, leaning forward.

"Aiya, you don't know," Aunt Li saw another listener, so he explained very enthusiastically, "Wasn't last night the Yang family's old man the seventh? That silly kid, Yang Min, stayed awake watching over me just to see his grandfather, but when he saw his own grandfather, he was actually scared senseless."

"What's going on? Shouldn't you be happy? " I wondered.

"Of course I'm happy to see the soul of my family. But, as long as I see his grandfather's corpse and stand up by myself, then it wouldn't be happiness but fear!" Aunt Li said in a faint voice.

"In other words, the old man from the Yang family faked his corpse!" Blackie said in surprise.

Hearing this, everyone got goosebumps. I thought about that feeling and my body sucked in a breath of cold air. Indeed, it was very scary.

"And do you know how Yang Min's grandfather looked like when she crawled out of the coffin?" Aunt Li once again raised everyone's curiosity.

"What does it look like?" Before Aunt Li said anything, Blackie asked impatiently.

"Don't worry, let me explain slowly." Aunt Li made a downward gesture and continued, "That old man of the Yang family, he broke open the coffin by himself, and then came out from the coffin looking horrifying. His pair of eyes were hollowed out, and all his internal organs were gone, leaving only a long wound on his belly, along with his bones and flesh!"

"Ai, how do you know so clearly? Could it be that you were in the mourning hall last night?" Er Hei asked in disbelief.

"I definitely wasn't there yesterday, but ah, this Yang Min's house is right next door to mine! This morning, his grandfather's corpse was lying outside the coffin. I was the one who told Old Li to wake up Yang Min who had fainted on the ground. "

"I went over to take a look at the corpse. Aiya, f * ck. I can't even finish my meal today. It looks like I'm in trouble." As Aunt Li spoke, his heart still had lingering fear.

"What does this have to do with the animals that died last night?" I asked.

"Of course it's related. Didn't Old Wang's cow lose its limbs? Then it would moo at night and wake Old Wang and his family. Then, he would go out to check. Who would've thought that the door would just be slightly ajar?"

Under the moonlight, he saw a humanoid creature pulling the hands and feet of the old Wang family's ox. Its appearance was so scary that it could break a cow's leg. Naturally, Old Wang did not dare to go out.

Aunt Li cleared his throat and continued, "Well, just now, when Old Wang heard that the Yang family's old man faked his corpse, he went to take a look. As a result, the old man from the Yang family was wearing the same clothes as the humanoid organism he saw last night, both were white!"

Hearing this, everyone couldn't help opening their mouths wide. This was really the case, it was very possible that it was done by the same person!
