As the water dripped from the tip of the dagger onto the back of my hand, I felt a cool sensation on the back of my hand, as if ice had fallen on the back of my hand. It was bone-chilling cold.

But other than that, I don't feel anything else. For that matter, the water in the pool doesn't seem to be doing me any harm
