C4 Strange disappearance

Chapter IV Mysterious Disappearances

Early in the morning, Cui Er Shu's wife, Cui Shenzi, was crying in front of my chicken fence.

I was rinsing my mouth when I heard someone crying in front of me. I'd been in trouble for the past two days, a coffin and a nightmare, and then I heard a woman crying again, and I was so scared that I swallowed the foam straight down my throat.

"Oh my god! Mother, alas! " I ran into the kitchen where my mother was lighting a fire.

Seeing me come in again with a sobbing voice, I can still clearly remember the incident of seeing the coffin yesterday.

"Again …" "So what?" My mother couldn't even muster up the strength to scold me. "What did you see this time?"

"Yes …" Yes... Someone... "She's crying by our chicken coop …"

When my mother heard this, she became afraid again and braced herself. "Where are you? I'll go take a look! "

She dropped the poker and walked to the front door, where she studied it for a moment.

"You little bastard!" She looked carefully, and turned her head to glare fiercely at me, "It's you, Cui Shenzi, in front!"

A hanging heart put back in the chest, my mother once again returned to the old days of bustle.

I followed him out and saw Cui Shenzi, who was dressed in black, crying softly. He had an expression of being worried and afraid, and faintly felt that something was amiss.

"Isn't this Cui Shenzi? Why aren't you staying at home to serve your Cui Lao Er, and come here so early in the morning? " Although my mother's tone was sharp, but it was not good to see Cui Shenzi like this.

When Cui Shenzi saw that my mother had arrived, he awkwardly raised his head and slowly wiped the tears away from the corners of his eyes.

"I... My Home... Cui Lao Er... " She spoke softly and slowly, and my mother looked anxious, her instincts telling her that there was nothing good to do.

"What happened to him?" Did something happen to the Cui Lao Er? My mother was in a hurry to find out.

"He's gone!" After saying that, she started sobbing again, lowering her head as she sobbed.

When I heard the news, I was shocked and frightened. What happened to Cui Er Shu?

I recalled the scene of the red-clothed female licking Cui Er Shu's neck with her tongue out. I shuddered in fear and subconsciously tried to crawl behind my mother.

Hey, don't think about it... Don't think about it... I said to myself.

In my mother's heart, there was also this Cui Shenzi pressing down on another rock, but she was being impatient, so he grabbed onto Cui Shenzi and asked him a bunch of questions.

"What do you mean 'gone'? Was he missing or dead? "You should at least explain yourself …"

Hearing my mother ask if he had lost her or if he had died, Cui Shenzi did not reply, but only cried even harder.

"What's the use of crying for no reason?" Every time I want to cry, my mother would slap me with her big mouth, telling me not to learn to make glutinous rice balls like my father did, while men cry like a fart.

However, she couldn't slap Cui Shenzi's mouth. She had been through weird things recently, so she was a little nervous.

Just as she finished angry, she felt that she said the wrong thing and changed into a patient expression. She wanted to confirm: "Is your Cui Lao Er missing? You don't need to reply. If you really don't see her, then you just nod. "

The crying did not stop, but Cui Shenzi nodded slightly.

Cui Er Shu is missing?! My heart skipped a beat, and my mother's expression turned ugly.

"Your man is missing. You should go out and look for him. Don't cry in front of my house." My mother finds Cui Shenzi, dressed in all black, to be crying in front of the door to be extremely unlucky, but it can still be considered to be kindly persuading her.

Hearing my mother's words, Cui Shenzi slowly replied with red eyes: "He was the one who saw Grandma Cheng's coffin yesterday and even carried the coffin for you …"

So it was her who blamed my family for Cui Er Shu's disappearance.

My mother was silent, but her heart was a mess.

Could it be that the Cui Lao Er was really affected by the misfortunes of the Evil Door Coffin? She didn't dare to think too deeply about it.

When I heard what my grandmother asked my grandfather to tell me in her dreams last night, I felt even more confused.

What kind of role did the red-clothed female ghost play in this? What did my grandmother mean by talking to my grandpa?

My little head swelled as I thought about it.

I looked at the crying Cui Shenzi and told him in a light voice, "Master Wang and Old man Bai might come over later. Aunt is asking them to help look for them?"

My mother looked at me but didn't say anything.

Even though she hates his bad luck, she has no choice. If something happens to Cui Er Shu, this Cui Shenzi will still come and find trouble with our clan in the end.

Hearing that there's someone who can help her, and also that she seemed to have found a pillar of support, Cui Shenzi tenderly nodded, then looked at my mother.

"Yes …" When the time comes, ask them to help you. " My mother reluctantly invited her in, too lazy to say anything more.

Before, Blind Wang said that he would come over, but after that, he didn't know what had happened.

He did not know what Blind Wang found in the mountains of the grave, nor did he know what happened to the coffin last night.

I followed Cui Shenzi into the great hall, and thought about my nightmare from yesterday with great difficulty.

He absentmindedly saw the locust tree that appeared at the end of the hall, the Red woman hanging by its side.

I just feel cold all over, and I don't feel like home anymore.

"But there's no other way. I don't want to go out either, because I don't feel safe anywhere right now."

Besides, no other child would still be able to play with me after what happened yesterday.

It was almost noon when Blind Wang and Old man Bai finally wobbled over.

My mother saw it from a distance, her tense face finally smiling, and she went to meet him from afar.

I immediately stood up and ran to the door. Cui Shenzi was still crying on his own, she had been crying non-stop for the entire morning.

Blind Wang still had his poker face, his expression never changing.

Old man Bai was not as calm and gentle as yesterday. There was a worried look on his face.

Blind Wang didn't pay attention to my mother and directly walked into the house. Old man Bai forced a smile on his face and greeted my mother, but then walked in with a heavy heart.

When the two of them saw me, there was a strange look on their faces, but they didn't say anything.

Is there something dirty on my face? Looking into their eyes made me feel uncomfortable.

My mother instantly tensed up, and I didn't know what was going on.

My mother looked at Old man Bai, and wanted to ask something, but had already headed straight for Grandfather's room. Old man Bai lightly waved his hand at my mother and said, "No rush."

My mother could only swallow her stomach full of questions. She curled her lips but didn't say anything.

Cui Shenzi, who was previously immersed in his own sad world, seemed to have woken up from his stupor.

The tears that she had just held in began to fall off again.

"Masters …" Her voice was soft and it was hard to hear her clearly.

It was only then that the two noticed the weak aura Cui Shenzi had, causing Blind Wang to turn around with a serious face. Old man Bai frowned.

It was only because Cui Shenzi's Qi was weak that the two old men did not notice that she was still sitting at a corner.

"What are you doing here?" Blind Wang immediately asked. He was angry at others for delaying his business, but when Cui Shenzi appeared, he also had a bad premonition.

"I... "I …" Cui Shenzi was so anxious that he couldn't say anything, and tears flowed down his face more and more.

"Elder Brother Wang, don't be impatient …" Old man Bai helplessly looked at Blind Wang, and obediently asked Cui Shenzi: "What happened? Is it because Cui Lao Er is not feeling well? Or what? "

"Impossible!" Before Cui Shenzi could reply, Blind Wang interrupted him immediately. "Yesterday, when I went home, I drew some runic water for everyone to carry the coffin with!"

"Elder Brother Wang, don't be in such a hurry …" Old man Bai waved his hand again, and looked at Cui Shenzi with a heavy gaze: "What happened to Cui Lao Er?"

"He … "He …" Cui Shenzi was speechless for a long time.

My mom can't take it anymore. This little girl really made her angry. "Cui Lao Er is missing!"

"What?" Blind Wang almost jumped up, "Cui Lao Er is gone, why didn't you look for me first? and came all the way here to cry! "

Old man Bai told my mother not to worry, they had to deal with the matter of the missing Cui Lao Er.

Things were getting more complicated.

Blind Wang smacked his lips. He anxiously calculated his fingers and felt that something was amiss.

"You! Tell me everything in detail! " Blind Wang spoke word by word.

"Don't be anxious …" On the other hand, Old man Bai seemed to be taking the initiative, "But we have to explain everything clearly, and only then will we be able to help."

My mother and I pricked up our ears.

How did the Cui Lao Er disappear?
