C17 Supreme Holy Spirit
This form contained the essential details of the candidates, including information about their Awakened Battle Companions.
Han Xiao accepted the form from his teacher and scrutinized it closely.
Name: Han Xiao
Battle Companion: Turtle Spirit
Attribute: Earth
Potential: Low-Level Battle Companion
Class Suggestion: Class D
"Just as I thought..." Han Xiao muttered with a wry smile, scooping up the Turtle Spirit at his feet and silently rejoining his group.
"Congratulations on successfully awakening your Battle Companion," Feng Yixiu said with a grin, clapping Han Xiao on the shoulder.
"What's there to congratulate? It's merely a Low-Level Battle Companion, and I've been placed in Class D," Han Xiao lamented, his expression downcast.
"A Low-Level Battle Companion? They simply fail to recognize its potential. I believe your Battle Companion is quite powerful; who knows, it might even become a Holy Spirit someday!" Feng Yixiu remarked cheerfully, unfazed.
"Thanks for the kind words. I'm not as fragile as you might think. I find my Lou quite endearing, and I'm rather fond of him," Han Xiao replied with a smile, gently stroking the Turtle Spirit cradled in his arms, which responded with a contented purr.
Feng Yixiu's comment wasn't just to make Han Xiao feel better; he had actually perceived the entire evolutionary path of the Earth-attribute Turtle Spirit. To him, it resembled an intricate tree, each evolutionary stage branching out distinctly.
While most Earth-type Turtle Spirits could at best evolve to their Complete Body, advancing to an Ultima Body was exceedingly rare.
Yet, among these paths lay one that stood out, leading to the evolution into a Supreme Holy Spirit—a being of unparalleled distinction.
It was common knowledge that all Holy Spirits on Geaster were entities of myth. Each Holy Spirit was a national asset, seldom revealed to the public eye.
"Lou? Is that the name you've chosen for your Battle Companion?" Feng Yixiu inquired with a chuckle.
"Yes, this little Turtle Spirit reminds me of a goofy turtle, all sluggish and laid-back. So, I figured Lou suited him perfectly," Han Xiao explained, lifting the Turtle Spirit from his lap for a closer look.
"Next up, Feng Yixiu."
Just then, the teacher's call echoed from the elevated platform.
"It's your turn now. Hopefully, you won't end up in my class," Han Xiao said with a smile, having heard the summons.
Feng Yixiu strode toward the awakening circle on the platform. It was natural for him to feel anxious; the outcome would determine if he could become a Fighter, a destiny-defining moment.
"Are you ready? Once you are, I'll start the awakening circle," the teacher overseeing the process reminded him.
"I'm ready!" Feng Yixiu inhaled deeply and responded.
The awakening circle began to activate slowly. Suddenly, Feng Yixiu felt as though a magical force was unlocking some sort of restraint within him. A tingling sensation of electric current slowly spread throughout his body.
His vision gradually blurred, and he thought he saw a vague green figure. Yet, whenever he tried to focus, the figure would shift, eluding clarity.
The teacher responsible for the awakening stood agape. Before him, Feng Yixiu was enveloped in a sphere of purple lightning. The white orb of light above his head shone intensely, accompanied by the crackling sound of electricity.
"This... This is the awakening of a Thunder Battle Companion!" the teacher exclaimed in awe.
