C13 The Four King Kongs

Yun Man was in shock, her gaze fixed on the figure standing protectively in front of her. Though not particularly tall, the silhouette instilled in her a profound sense of safety.

"Do you really have a death wish?" Ye Lee asked the four men, his voice dripping with indifference.

An idea sparked in his mind—to transform these men into zombies.

"Kid, don't play the hero. You're nothing but a low-level Awakened. I could crush you with a single finger!"

With a calm smile, Ye Lee responded, "Are you sure you can trust your eyes?"

"What are you getting at?" The men were taken aback, puzzled by Ye Lee's cryptic words.

"It's simple. I have a proposition," Ye Lee went on.

"What?" one of the men asked, eyeing Ye Lee with a mix of curiosity and disdain.

"How would you like to become zombies at my command?" Ye Lee proposed, his tone nonchalant.

"He's lost his mind from fear."

"He's definitely gone mad with fear, suggesting we become zombies to serve him—what a joke!"

The four men roared with laughter, as if they'd never heard anything so absurd.

Ye Lee watched their mirth with a quiet shake of his head. They might not believe him now, but he intended to show them the grave consequences of their disbelief.

"Ah Da, make your move!"

Ah Da burst forth from the System Space, his towering 1.9-meter frame as imposing as a steel fortress. But it wasn't his size that stunned the men—it was the green hue of his eyes.

"A first rank zombie!" one of the men cried out in alarm.

The distinction between a normal zombie and an advanced zombie was evident in their aura, but the first rank zombie's green eyes were unmistakable.

"How can he control a first rank zombie?"

Panic seized the four men. They knew all too well that an advanced Awakened stood no chance against a first rank zombie—it was like comparing the earth to the sky.

In that moment, their only thought was to flee, fully aware that a battle against a first rank zombie was a losing fight.

"Ah Da, turn them into zombies," Ye Lee instructed, his voice steady.

With the order given, Ye Lee casually lowered his gaze to his fingertips, seemingly indifferent to whether the four men attempted to flee or not.

Upon Ye Lee's command, Ah Da lunged into action.

The four men were advanced Awakened, but they were no match for the formidable first rank zombie, Ah Da.

With red gloves on his fists, Ah Da's punches were swift as the wind.

Before the men could even react, they were hurled through the air by Ah Da's blows and crashed heavily against the wall.

Ah Da then bit each of the men, and the corpse poison rapidly spread through their veins.

In mere moments, the four men were transformed into zombies.

Once zombified, they sprang to life and charged at Ye Lee and Yun Man with renewed vigor.

An Awakened's level would inevitably decline after turning into a zombie. These four, even as advanced zombies, were now at most Sixth Level.

Ah Da dispatched them with a single punch each, leaving them sprawled on the ground, unable to rise.

"Now, do you still trust what you see?" Ye Lee asked, gazing down at the four grounded figures.

He then accessed the fusion grid in his mind and confirmed they were all Sixth Level zombies.

After a brief consideration, he chose not to merge them but to cultivate their abilities.

They were a quartet: Gold King Kong, Silver King Kong, Bronze King Kong, and Iron King Kong.

"From now on, you'll be known as the Four King Kongs," he declared.
