C18 It's Not over yet
Ye Lee was thrilled. The items he had acquired from the Super Treasure Chest were incredibly formidable.
A Fifth Level Awakened was just a Normal Awakened—nothing extraordinary there. But what exactly was this exclusive zombie skill?
Ye Lee examined the Heaven Collapsing Earth Shattering Fist and the elemental magics of wind, rain, lightning, and thunder.
Heaven Collapsing Earth Shattering Fist: A Level D fist technique that, upon reaching Level S, could shatter the very heavens and earth.
Wind: Level D magic that, at Level S, could uproot everything in its wake.
Rain: Level D magic that, when advanced to Level S, could simulate a flood of apocalyptic proportions.
Lightning: Level D magic that could, at Level S, summon bolts to shake the heavens and earth.
Thunder: Level D magic that, once elevated to Level S, could unleash tremendous electrical power.
Ye Lee recognized these as genuine treasures. They might only be Level D now, but he could upgrade them later.
After a brief contemplation, Ye Lee infused the Heaven Collapsing Earth Shattering Fist into Ah Da's body. The elements of wind, rain, lightning, and thunder were each integrated into the Gold, Silver, Copper, and Iron King Kongs, respectively.
Content with having equipped his main zombies with their unique abilities, Ye Lee turned his attention to the ongoing clash before him. The fight between Guardian Scorpion and Miss Meilin was fierce.
Despite Mei Lin possessing a Level S gene and being a Third Rank Evolved Human, Guardian Scorpion seemed to have the upper hand. After all, if Guardian Scorpion, with a Level A gene and also a Third Rank Evolved Human, couldn't surpass Mei Lin, it would be a surprise.
Ye Lee wondered how long their battle would last and if he could possibly gain something from it.
"This First Grade female zombie..."
He pondered the idea of cultivating a female zombie but eventually abandoned the thought, having not yet found a suitable candidate.
Once Ye Lee had stored all the zombies in the System Space, he observed the duel between Mei Lin and Guardian Scorpion with a detached gaze.
Mei Lin wielded a high-grade purple long sword, while Guardian Scorpion fought with a Scorpion Tail Blade.
Blades flashed and shadows of swords danced in the fading light.
Ye Lee settled down in a spot, nonchalantly crossing his legs and plucking a blade of grass to chew on.
He had no intention of aiding either Mei Lin or Guardian Scorpion. His plan was simply to observe their duel without getting involved.
Propping his chin in his hand, Ye Lee wore an expression of ennui. Dusk was approaching, yet the combatants had yet to determine a victor.
Then, in a flash, Ye Lee's attention sharpened. He witnessed Mei Lin and Guardian Scorpion unleash their most powerful moves—a fight to the finish!
From Mei Lin's purple sword, a phoenix soared, while Guardian Scorpion's Scorpion Tail Blade cleaved through the air, its massive black aura clashing with the bird of flame.
As the purple phoenix and the black aura vanished, Ye Lee surveyed the battlefield and saw Mei Lin coughing up blood, a ghastly wound marring her form.
"Even with your Level S gene, you've only just reached the Third Rank, so you're not quite my equal," Guardian Scorpion boasted triumphantly.
Mei Lin clutched her wound, crimson blood seeping through her fingers—she was gravely injured.
"It's all over," Guardian Scorpion declared, his voice tinged with finality.
"Who says it's all over?" Ye Lee countered, each word deliberate and unwavering.
"Who's there?!" Guardian Scorpion demanded, his tone icy.
Ye Lee advanced at a measured pace. He hadn't planned on revealing himself, but the thought of Mei Lin rewarding him with treasures for his assistance changed his mind.
With that incentive, Ye Lee stepped forward.
Both Guardian Scorpion and Mei Lin were taken aback, never expecting an intervention at this critical juncture.
"You?"
Guardian Scorpion squinted, his gaze fixed on Ye Lee with a chilling intensity.
