C13 Vibration Wind Boxing

At noon, Jiang Xiaofan emerged from the cellar, having successfully transformed all the Blood Spirit Flowers that Qin Chuan and his team had gathered into Life Return Pills. In addition, he crafted 50 Stone Condensing Pills and handed them to Ann Yunshan.

The pills from the Martial Artsed Hand Medical Hall had been completely bought out by eager customers. Qin Chuan and the others were now diligently refining more pills, racing against time to restock for the following day.

After several consecutive days of pill refining, Jiang Xiaofan was exhausted. Unable to stand the solitude any longer, he decided to take a half-day break.

Ann Yunshan would have preferred Jiang Xiaofan to continue his work, but he wasn't one to coerce. After doing the books, Jiang Xiaofan was left in shock. The pills he had crafted over the last couple of days had fetched over 24 million—an astronomical sum. He held the stack of bills from Ann Yunshan, swearing he'd never laid eyes on so much money in his life.

He wasn't the only one; even if every soul in Breeze Town toiled for a decade, they wouldn't see such wealth!

It was clear that a pharmacist's craft was incredibly lucrative, and a Weapon Refiner's even more so. If he could master that as well...

Jiang Xiaofan's mind wandered to grand dreams of power and companionship, but he was soon snapped back to reality by Ann Yunshan.

Ann Yunshan kept 1 million copper coins for himself and offered the rest to Jiang Xiaofan, saying, "Per our agreement, I'll take the cost and a portion. The remainder is yours."

Looking at the hefty stack of bills on the table, Jiang Xiaofan replied, "Elder Ann, these are just worldly possessions. I'm a solitary man; what use do I have for so much? Besides, you shouldn't settle for just 1 million copper coins. Shouldn't it be at least 10%, or 2.4 million? You've given me the opportunity to grow as a pill refiner. Consider this money a token of my appreciation."

"That won't do! You're the one who's been putting in the effort; you deserve this money," Ann Yunshan insisted, sliding the bills back toward Jiang Xiaofan. "And if you're feeling lonely, why not consider how Bai'er might fit into your life?"

Jiang Xiaofan's frame jolted. "Elder Ann, please, no teasing. I'm just sixteen, and Xiaobai's only fifteen. We're still kids."

"Hahaha, I know, I was only kidding," Ann Yunshan chuckled, a touch of embarrassment in his smile.

Internally, Jiang Xiaofan sneered. The old man was clearly trying to use Xiaobai to anchor his heart here. As if! He wasn't about to be fooled.

Yet, the thought of Xiaobai's adorable face lingered; marrying her might not be so bad after all.

Meanwhile, Ann Xiaobai, eavesdropping outside, overheard their chat. Her cheeks flushed at the mention of marriage, and she dashed back to her room like a startled deer.

The apprentices in the back, witnessing Ann Xiaobai's flustered retreat, were all agape—she was just too adorable!

Jiang Xiaofan dabbed at a droplet of drool and lifted a 10,000 yuan note from the table. "Elder Ann, I'll take this much for now. Keep the rest safe with you. I'll collect it when I'm about to leave."

With that, Jiang Xiaofan stepped out of the Hand Medical Hall, granting himself a half-day's leisure to stroll and get acquainted with Breeze Town. This warm, unfamiliar world was new to him, and he was eager to soak it in.

At the Hand Medical Hall, respect for him abounded, and Ann Xiaobai's care was palpable. If not for pressing matters awaiting him, he would've gladly settled down here for good.

In a martial equipment store, Jiang Xiaofan splurged on a storage ring for 50,000 copper coins. Spacious enough to hold an elephant, it would surely meet his daily needs.

His backpack, limited to a mere 100 slots, was insufficient for his belongings, hence the need for the ring.

Next, he purchased a fresh set of clothes and sought out a secluded lake. Stripping down, he plunged into the cool water for a much-needed bath, washing away days of grime from his subterranean stay in Breeze Town. Without it, he half-joked, he'd start sprouting mold.

Leaning against a rock, he let the cool lake water caress his body. He closed his eyes, savoring a tranquility he hadn't known for half a month.

Time passed until Jiang Xiaofan's eyes snapped open. He rolled aside just as a dart whizzed by, embedding itself in the rock where he had been. A fraction slower, and it would have been his head.

He scrambled ashore, took cover behind a rock, and hurriedly dressed. A shadowy figure was closing in, charging straight for him.

"Buzz!"

The Blazing Sword screamed as Jiang Xiaofan drew it from his backpack, holding it ready.

Sparks scattered with a metallic clang. Jiang Xiaofan braced against the rock, his right arm tingling with numbness. Without his Martial Qi shield, his arm might well have been useless.

He focused on the man before him, clad in dark blue, in his mid-twenties. Jiang Xiaofan's mind raced, then a smirk appeared. "Cousin Jiang Rui, looking well, I see."

"Silence! You're a disgrace to the Jiang family, abandoning your duty to flee to Breeze Town. Had the Ocean Pavilion not sent me after the new Pharmacist, you'd still be at large!"

Jiang Rui's sinister smile widened as he stepped closer. "Impressive, blocking my strike. But I suspect your arm's done for. Since you've forsaken the Jiang family, your time has come to die!"

His dagger gleamed coldly as he lunged at Jiang Xiaofan, who swiftly activated his Wolf Totem skill, unleashing the Ten Thousand Water Slash!

Martial Qi surged forth, blasting towards Jiang Rui, who, startled, leapt aside, narrowly evading the assault.

Jiang Xiaofan charged, the Blazing Sword thrusting towards Jiang Rui's chest.

With crossed daggers, Jiang Rui deflected the Blazing Sword, a sword flower sparking upon the impact, forcing him to retreat step by step.

After regaining his balance, Jiang Rui gazed at Jiang Xiaofan with disbelief. "You've attained a Martial Level?"

"My Martial Level has been restored; I'm now at the first tier of Spirit Martial strength," Jiang Xiaofan replied, the edge of his sword quivering as a smirk played on his lips. "There's something else you should know—the pharmacist from the Skilled Hand Medical Hall you mentioned? That's me, too!"

"What?" Jiang Rui gasped.

Jiang Xiaofan popped a Fighting Spirit Pill into his mouth, and it dissolved into countless warm streams that surged through his body. His powerful energy flowed through his meridians, and with his Blazing Sword pointed downward, he unleashed the Ten Thousand Water Slash once more!

Jiang Rui watched the oncoming sword qi and countered with a punch. Fist met sword qi in a clash, sending a maelstrom of energy spiraling out, kicking up sand and stones. In the midst of the chaos, the Blazing Sword collided with the dagger in Jiang Rui's grip.

The Breaking Wind Sword Technique was released with a symphony of metallic clangs. Sparks flew as Jiang Xiaofan's sword danced, slashing, picking, and stabbing, its elegance amplifying its might. Despite Jiang Rui's third-level Spirit Martial prowess, he struggled to gain the upper hand against Jiang Xiaofan and soon found himself at a disadvantage.

Jiang Xiaofan swept his arm in a powerful arc, activating his Battle Martial Body. His aura erupted, sending Martial Qi rampaging around him. With a mere thought, a crushing pressure bore down on Jiang Rui.

Jiang Rui's legs buckled, and he hastily countered with his own Martial Qi, but it was futile. A moment later, he coughed up blood and staggered backward.

The combined might of the Fighting Spirit Pill and the Battle Martial Body was undeniable. Jiang Rui, in Jiang Xiaofan's presence, was as powerless as a lowly servant from the Original Martial Stage.

Jiang Xiaofan advanced slowly, his overwhelming presence leaving Jiang Rui helpless. Flashing a wolfish grin, he taunted, "The Jiang family's pain will be returned in kind, and you, Jiang Rui, are no exception."

After he spoke, a chilling intent to kill flickered in his eyes. Jiang Rui collapsed to the ground with a thud, pleading, "Xiaofan! Xiaofan! I'm your cousin! You can't kill me!"

Jiang Xiaofan flashed a cold smile. "Really? Well, I plan to kill not just you, but Jiang Tianyang and Jiang Lun as well."

Realizing Jiang Xiaofan's resolve to kill was unshakable, Jiang Rui bellowed, "If you kill me, the Ocean Pavilion will never forgive you!"

With a swift "Puchi," the Blazing Sword sliced through Jiang Rui's neck. The dark Qi within Jiang Xiaofan emerged, wrenching out Jiang Rui's soul and consuming it whole.

"System Prompt: You have successfully slain Jiang Rui and acquired the Poison Short Dagger."

"System Prompt: You have successfully defeated Jiang Rui and obtained 150 Copper coins."

The Vibration Wind Boxing (C Rank) technique, which releases Martial Qi to generate a gust capable of deflecting projectiles and Martial Qi assaults, grows in strength with the user's martial progression.

The Poison Short Dagger, a mere Yellow Fourth Grade weapon, was beneath Jiang Xiaofan's notice. However, the Vibration Wind Boxing technique was a different story. Intrigued, he immediately mastered it, the intricate moves seamlessly integrating into his memory.

Jiang Rui, though a practitioner of the Spirit Martial Stage like Jiang Xiaofan, offered little in terms of experience points. The experience bar at this level was now several times what it had been before, making leveling up a daunting task.

Jiang Xiaofan had been engrossed in pill refining these past few days, neglecting his martial cultivation. Still, the experience gained from Jiang Rui was substantial. It was just unfortunate that there was only one of him. A few more Spirit Martial Stage masters would have been ideal, perhaps allowing a breakthrough to the Profound Martial Stage before his return to Lintian City.

Drenched in sweat, Jiang Xiaofan stripped off his clothes and bathed, washing away the day's exertions. As the sun dipped below the horizon, he knew it was time to head back.

He had achieved the rank of a Ninth Grade Yellow Level Pharmacist. Tonight, he was determined to push himself and ascend to the status of a Profound Level Pharmacist!

At the Bamboo House within the Outer Sect of Fan Yin Peak, a middle-aged man's brow furrowed as he inspected the shattered jade token before him. "Summon Chu Lianchen!" he commanded.

Minutes later, a youth entered the bamboo house and knelt on one knee before the middle-aged man. "Master!"

Seated in a rattan chair, the middle-aged man spoke with gravity, "The Ocean Pavilion has suffered several losses among its disciples. Just yesterday, Jiang Rui was dispatched to Breeze Town and met his end. You are to lead five Spirit Martial Stage disciples to investigate. Capture the culprit; we need them alive if possible, but if not, bring back the body."

"Understood, Master. I will carry out your command!"

With Chu Lianchen stepping outside, the middle-aged man clutched a fragment of the jade token and murmured, "Brother Lin Zhen, I vow to seek justice for you."
