Melanie whirled around and was greeted by the sight of Alain, a friend she hadn't seen in ages.

With a beaming smile, Alain (Franny) approached and embraced Melanie warmly. "Lanie, how have you been? Why isn't Mr. Evans with you?" she asked cheerfully.
