Lin Hann understood that Elder Ye was downplaying the gesture intentionally. Even if Ye Guangyuan had attended three years prior, the Ye family, being as prominent as it was, could surely find someone to send. Elder Ye was simply trying to ensure Lin Hann didn't feel overly indebted.
