C11 Bodyguard Leopard!
Outside the grilled fish restaurant, Jiang Nan said to the pair, "I've got a class this afternoon, so I'm heading back now!"
They nodded in understanding and went off to shop on their own.
Jiang Nan left Ocean Park by himself and headed straight back to school for his lecture—a theory class. But today, Zhou Cheng was sitting beside him.
With a sly grin, Zhou Cheng teased, "Look at you, Young Master Jiang, with a girl on each arm!"
"What's there to look at? One's a green tea b*tch, the other's a tomboy," Jiang Nan retorted.
"You've got it all wrong. Embrace whoever throws themselves at you. Why care who they are? Others wish they had your problems," Zhou Cheng replied, a hint of truth in his jest.
After the class, Jiang Nan made his way to the restroom.
While he was there, a towering figure took up the spot next to him.
"Are you Jiang Nan?" the man asked.
Looking up, Jiang Nan saw a nearly two-meter-tall, burly man with a cigarette dangling from his lips.
"Yes, that's me," Jiang Nan responded coolly.
The giant introduced himself, "I'm a sophomore, so technically, your junior. Name's Jin Yu Chen. I've heard your sister is Jiang Xiaoxiao?"
Mention of his sister brought a sneer to Jin Yu Chen's face.
"When you've got a moment, set up a meeting with your sister for me, got it? I've never been so taken by a girl's looks before. If you can't make it happen, I swear I'll beat you to a pulp!"
With a heavy pat on Jiang Nan's back that felt like a boulder's weight, Jiang Nan winced at the stinging pain.
"Here's my number... Remember it! Get your sister to call me within three days, or you'll regret it," Jin Yu Chen threatened.
As Jin Yu Chen turned to leave, another man entered the restroom, dressed in a Zhongshan suit, lean and mean, with sunglasses shading his eyes.
"What did you just say?" the newcomer demanded coldly.
"Who's this little death wish? Get out of my way," Jin Yu Chen barked.
"You dare disrespect Miss Jiang? Kid, you must be tired of living," the man in the Zhongshan suit stated icily.
In that moment, Jiang Nan realized the truth.
This man was likely the bodyguard assigned to protect him covertly, and he had overheard the entire exchange with Jin Yu Chen.
The man flashed a grin and, with a sudden over-the-shoulder throw, sent a burly man who weighed nearly two hundred kilograms crashing to the ground. He coiled around his opponent like a venomous snake, and with a sickening snap, the man's arm broke!
"Ah!" Jin Yu Chen howled in agony.
Seeing Jin Yu Chen incapacitated, the man gestured towards Jiang Nan with his thumb and warned, "This is Young Master Jiang of the Jiang family. Listen up, if you ever dare to bully him again, I'll send you straight to the King of Hell!"
"I won't dare again, I swear! Please, have mercy! I beg you, I was wrong!"
Jiang Nan let out a cold snort, turned on his heel, and strode away, with the man trailing behind him.
"What's your name?" Jiang Nan inquired.
"I can't recall my own name. For some reason, I've lost all memory from before I turned 25. Just call me Cheetah, that's the codename Miss Jiang gave me. Rest assured, Young Master, after I lost my memory, it was Eldest Miss who took me in. I owe her a debt of rebirth that I can never repay. I'll go through fire and water for the Jiang family without a second thought. If anyone dares to bully Young Master Jiang again, Cheetah won't let them off the hook!"
"Your martial arts are quite impressive. When can you teach me?" Jiang Nan asked, his interest piqued.
"If Young Master is interested, I'm ready to teach at any time. However, martial arts require a certain natural aptitude. Would you mind if I check your physique?" Cheetah asked.
After a thorough examination from head to toe, Cheetah's expression shifted from composed to astonished.
Standing up in amazement, Cheetah exclaimed, "Young Master Jiang, you have an exceptional constitution, a rare gem for martial arts training!"
Jiang Nan dismissed the flattery with a wave of his hand and a smile, "There's no need to lay it on thick. Remember, it's Eldest Sister who pays your wages, not me!"
Cheetah earnestly replied, "Young Master, I'm not just doing a job; I'm here to protect the family. Cheetah has no kin of his own and lives by a single creed: to protect the Jiang family. So please, Young Master, be assured that my respect is not out of obligation, but because you truly are well-suited for martial arts training."
Jiang Nan offered a wry smile, about to speak when he turned and realized the cheetah had vanished into thin air!
True to its nature, the cheetah was a master of stealth.
With a sigh, Jiang Nan cradled his head and headed to class, taking his usual spot in a quiet corner to listen.
The class passed without incident, but once it was over, chaos ensued!
Stepping out of the classroom, Jiang Nan found himself encircled by a group of eager underclassmen, all wearing friendly smiles.
The ringleader, a hip-hop styled junior sporting a green "water ghost" watch, announced, "Here he is, Senior Jiang Nan!"
"Hello, Senior Jiang Nan!" chorused the group, bowing in unison.
"What's all this about?" Jiang Nan asked, puzzled.
The junior stood tall and explained, "Senior, I'm Ye Ziqian, also a sophomore. We've heard about how you took down Jin Yu Chen, and man, did you do us a solid! That guy's been throwing his weight around because he's tall, picking on us left and right. So, we thought, who better to call our big brother than you, Senior? We want to roll with you from now on!"
The kid's frankness was almost disarming.
"Oh, suit yourselves," Jiang Nan replied nonchalantly.
As he turned to leave, Ye Ziqian hurried over, tugging at his sleeve. "Senior! Let's connect on WeChat!"
With no other choice, Jiang Nan added him before finally departing.
At the school gates, a Ferrari Enzo waited, its presence so commanding that passersby couldn't resist snapping photos.
Jiang Nan shouldered his backpack, weaving through the onlookers.
"What's the squeeze? Haven't you ever seen a Ferrari?"
"Seriously, look at that raggedy look!"
"It's not even yours, why bother?"
Their envy was palpable, and Jiang Nan's insistence on pushing through only fueled their irritation.
But Jiang Nan paid them no mind and continued on.
A gentle tap from him, and the scissor door swung open. Amidst a sea of admiring stares, he slid into the driver's seat.
The Enzo's engine roared to life, and the Ferrari surged forward and away.
In the ensuing silence, Jiang Nan glanced up and was surprised to see that his ride wasn't Jiang Xiaoxiao, but rather his Sixth Elder Sister, Jiang Miaomiao.
He still hadn't fully grasped the different models; he couldn't distinguish between a standard Ferrari and an Enzo to save his life. Plus, it seemed like the two Miss Jiangs had conspired to drive cars of the exact same color.
"Stinky little brother, why so quiet? I heard Xiaoxiao was flirting with you last night!"
"That's not true! Seventh elder sister was just scared of the thunder, and I was only..."
"Baloney! Scared of thunder? She's the one who didn't even flinch when she encountered a great white shark during a deep-sea shoot. She was playing and shaking hands with it like she was greeting local officials!" Jiang Miaomiao was seething with indignation.
Jiang Nan smirked and deftly steered the conversation elsewhere. "So, Sixth elder sister, where are you planning to take me for some delicious food?"
"The Zhongyuan Restaurant, of course. They serve the best dishes!" Jiang Miaomiao's mouth watered at the thought; she was a true food aficionado.
"Alright, Sixth elder sister, you really know how to treat someone right. You're taking me to Second elder sister's to freeload, and yet, you'll be the one getting all the credit!"
Jiang Nan feigned annoyance and turned his head away. Seeing this, Jiang Miaomiao quickly tried to appease him. "Come on, big guy, don't be so sensitive! Sixth elder sister has a technical background, spends her days immersed in tech, and isn't versed in social niceties. Don't take it to heart!"
Jiang Nan turned back around, sticking out his tongue playfully. "Just kidding, gotcha!"
"Hey, you little rascal!"
"By the way, sister, are you a scientist?" Jiang Nan inquired, his curiosity piqued.
