C3 Million Yuan

"That's right, I'm your eldest sister, Jiang Jixue. And here we have your second sister, Jiang Shuangshuang, third sister, Jiang Siqi, and fourth sister, Jiang Wansi."

Jiang Jixue continued, "Your fifth sister, Jiang Yueqiu, hasn't returned yet. It looks like you'll have to wait a few more days to meet her."

Jiang Miaomiao stepped forward without needing an introduction, "Hey, little brother, I'm your sixth sister, Jiang Miaomiao."

"Hmph, you annoying little brother, I'm your seventh sister, Jiang Xiaoxiao. You've heard of me, haven't you?"

Jiang Miaomiao, the international superstar, was the very idol of Jiang Nan's dreams. No wonder he found her so familiar—it was her all along.

Under normal circumstances, he would have been thrilled to the point of leaping for joy. But now, his heart was filled with nothing but anger.

"Haha, of course, I recognize you. I just never imagined you'd turn out to be my sister."

"And what about that old man? He abandoned me, took you all in as his disciples, and let you live in the lap of luxury."

"In his eyes, his disciples are treated like princesses, while his own son is neglected and disposable, right?"

"Shut up!"

His words were met with icy stares from the six women, who chastised him in one voice.

Eldest Sister's gaze grew frosty. "Jiang Nan, we will not tolerate such disrespect towards your father, our master. He is a great father, and don't you forget it!"

"Great? Is that what you call a father who leaves his son to fend for himself, scavenging through trash just to survive?"

"Had it not been for the orphanage that took me in, I would have died long ago, forgotten and alone."

"Master has always been watching over you. He would never let harm come your way. I'm aware of this. Believe me, Master truly loves you."

Eldest Sister Jiang Jixue spoke calmly, "Bringing you back now was also Master's decision. I trust there's a good reason behind his actions."

"Eldest Sister, you knew all along? And you kept it from us?" The other five sisters stared at her, their expressions a mix of shock and disbelief.

Jiang Jixue spoke with a sense of resignation, "I'm just as powerless here. This was all the Master's doing."

"And where is he now?"

"I have no idea. The last time I saw him was five years ago. That was also the last time I saw our Master, and he instructed me to bring you back after five years."

"Yet, when he spoke of you, his eyes betrayed a deep sense of helplessness and guilt. I'm convinced he must have had compelling reasons for his actions."

Jiang Jixue's words left Jiang Nan steeped in thought.

At the age of ten, his father had vanished without a trace, after having showered him with affection and martial arts training.

Despite never having met his mother, his father had filled that void in Jiang Nan's heart.

Could his father have had his back against the wall?

Gradually, Jiang Nan came to believe this and, ultimately, he came to terms with it.

But what really threw him for a loop was the realization that his dad was quite the collector—seven female disciples?

"Ahem, I mean..."

"What's this 'I mean'? Call me Big Sis!"

"Right, Big Sis... You're not all my dad's secret daughters, are you?"

Jiang Jixue softened when he addressed her as Big Sis. "No, each of us was rescued by Master. Without him, we wouldn't be who we are today."

"And you, you're the Master's only direct descendant."

"This is a lot to process. Can I have a moment to wrap my head around it?" Jiang Nan said, feeling overwhelmed, particularly by the six exceptional sisters before him.

Anyone else in his shoes would likely feel the same, if not more disoriented than Jiang Nan.

"Don't worry about it. For now, head back to your dorm and pack up your things. Seventh Sister will come for you tonight, and then you'll move back home. We'll take care of getting you to and from school every day."

"What?"

Jiang Nan hastily declined, "No, no, let's hold off on that. I'll move tomorrow. I'd like to spend one last night at school to bid my roommates farewell."

"Sounds good."

Jiang Jixue nodded, then handed him a bank card. "There's a million in there for expenses. The PIN is your birthday. If it's not enough, feel free to ask any of us sisters."

Jiang Nan was at a loss for words. A million yuan was on the table, not a mere hundred—how could that possibly be just pocket money?

He had never seen so much money in his life, but he had come to terms with the reality of having seven older sisters.

As luck would have it, he was short on cash. He had given his last six hundred yuan to Mu Xiaoxiao, and now he couldn't even afford a meal upon his return.

"Thank you, big sister."

"Wow, little brother, aren't you playing favorites? Big sister gives you a million for pocket money and you're all thanks, but what about me? I'll give you a million too. Now, hurry and thank your sister."

With that, all six sisters whipped out their bank cards, each loaded with at least a million yuan. Xiaoxiao, in particular, casually produced a staggering five million.

Suddenly, he was looking at pocket money that totaled more than ten million.

Holy smokes, his sisters were seriously loaded.

Eventually, the eldest sister calmed everyone down and had them put their cards away with a simple yet authoritative declaration.

"I'm not worried about my brother turning into a playboy. Even if he became the biggest one in the world, we could afford it. But that's not the person I want him to be."

On his way back, Jiang Nan had asked for a bit of discretion, pleading with his Seventh Sister, Jiang Xiaoxiao, not to drive her flashy supercar. To his astonishment, he discovered that even the household maids drove the latest BMW X6 to do the grocery shopping.

Xiaoxiao was visibly displeased, giving him the cold shoulder the whole trip.

Though, he had to admit, she still looked gorgeous in a huff.

He drifted back to his dorm room and collapsed onto his bed, still reeling from the day's events.

Just then, the dorm door was kicked open by his returning roommate. Lee Meng caught sight of Jiang Nan sprawled out and couldn't help but laugh.

"Hey, Young Master Jiang, what's with the death pose on the bed?"

"Haha, I heard Mu Xiaoxiao gave you the boot? How about that? Was the surprise I set up for you good or what?"

"Was it you?"

Jiang Nan sat up, eyeing Lee Meng with suspicion, yet his demeanor remained strikingly composed. In the past, such an accusation would have sparked his anger, but now, he found himself utterly incapable of feeling enraged.

There was simply no point anymore.

Lee Meng scoffed, "Yeah, what if I did? You think you've got the guts to hit me?"

With that, Lee Meng peeled off his foul-smelling socks and flung them onto Jiang Nan's bed. "Broke and hungry, huh? Haha, go wash these for me. I'll give you ten bucks."

"Lee Meng, that's enough," Zhou Cheng interjected, unable to watch any longer. He gave Jiang Nan a reassuring pat. "Come on, I'll take you out for a meal."

Zhou Cheng was Jiang Nan's closest ally at school, having been his lifeline for the last three years.

"Today, it's on me."

"Ha, am I hearing things? Jiang Nan offering to pay?" Lee Meng looked incredulous. "What, did getting dumped knock some sense into you?"

"Do you even have the cash to treat us?"

"Jiang Nan, I get it, times are tough for you. Keep your money; I insist on buying you lunch. Let's go."

"No, wait."

Zhou Cheng attempted to lead Jiang Nan away, but Lee Meng stepped in their path. "Come on, Jiang Nan's finally offering to host us. How can you refuse to show him some respect?"

"Jiang Nan, we've all looked out for each other these past few years. If you're treating, then let's all enjoy it together."

"Alright, together it is."
