C11 Kneel down and Sing 'conquer

The dialogue between the two was crystal clear, resonating through the crowd that had gathered behind them.

Every face among the onlookers was etched with discomfort.

Their minds flashed back to that young migrant worker.

"Return my hard-earned money." These words haunted their thoughts, refusing to fade away.

Regret filled their hearts.

They shouldn't have turned a blind eye. If only they hadn't been so indifferent, if only they had offered that youth a bit of warmth and comfort, perhaps they would be thriving now.

As if to confirm the crowd's reflections, Chiang Le rose to his feet, surveying the people around him. "I'm an outsider, and in theory, I shouldn't meddle in company affairs. But I'm unruly and willful," he declared.

"Now, I have a few orders to announce." Chiang Le beckoned to the vice president who had spilled his lunchbox nearby. "You, come here."

The vice president jerked to attention, approaching with a forced smile plastered on his face.

"Go pack your things and leave immediately," Chiang Le said coolly. "You're fired."

His command sent shockwaves through the crowd.

President Zhang was a stalwart of Phoenix Real Estate! His efforts were pivotal during the company's expansion into Jiang City. Without him, there might not be a Phoenix Real Estate today.

Yet, the Crown Prince had dismissed him without a second thought, his iron-fisted approach leaving everyone feeling uneasy.

But the surprises didn't stop there.

Chiang Le's gaze swept over the crowd until it landed on the girl who had been standing at the back.

"Miss, come over here," he called out, motioning to the lunchbox girl.

She approached, her face a mask of anxiety.

"From now on, you're taking his place. Study hard, and when you're ready, you'll run this company," Chiang Le announced with a grand gesture.

From a vice president's precipitous fall to an intern's meteoric rise to the pinnacle of the corporate ladder, the turn of events was nothing short of staggering. Envious eyes followed the girl.

"Me?" The receptionist was overwhelmed by the sudden turn of events. "I can't, I'm new to the job, I don't know anything... I just can't..."

"If I say you can, then you can. Even if you think you can't, you still can," Chiang Le reassured her with a gentle smile. "Kind-hearted girls are always lucky. Just focus on doing your best and don't fear mistakes. I am invincible and unafraid of turmoil. Play it by ear; it's all good."

After finishing his statement, Chiang Le gave Yang Aoxue, who stood there stunned, a piercing look before turning back to the receptionist. "Remember, you need to learn how to be a true CEO. Once you can perform at 60% of the capacity, the CEO position will be yours."

Yang Aoxue's face contorted with displeasure.

"You, and you, and you..." Chiang Le's gaze was sharp as he pointed at several security guards quaking in the distance. "You're all fired. Pack your things and get out."

Chiang Le would never erase from his memory the indifferent stares of those guards, nor could he forget the vice president's smug expression as he knocked the lunch box from his hands.

Treat me well, and I'll remember your kindness. Treat me poorly, and I'll repay it a hundredfold!

As they chatted, he toyed with the fates of those around him, reveling in the power to act as he pleased. The thrill of it was utterly intoxicating!

"We don't need a butcher to avoid eating hairy pigs. No one is irreplaceable. Everyone, give it your all." Chiang Le surveyed the room and declared with a grand gesture, "I'm in a good mood today, so I'm announcing a 30% salary increase for all employees!"

Joy and dismay spread through the crowd.

Silence fell over everyone, stunned by the Crown Prince's ruthless and bizarre tactics.

As he issued these commands, Chiang Le didn't spare Yang Aoxue a single glance.

These were merely appetizers. Yang Aoxue and her brother Yang Aomin were pieces he planned to savor playing with later.

"My piece is said. Now, who's with me, and who's against?"

Chiang Le's domineering eyes swept the room.

An uneasy quiet hung in the air; no one dared to make a move. With the Crown Prince's unpredictable nature, who could guess what drastic measures he might take if displeased?

"I object."

The voice belonged to CEO Zhang, the man who had spilled Chiang Le's lunch box.

Pale and lips quivering, CEO Zhang stood up. "Crown Prince, the company is yours, and I serve at your pleasure. But I've dedicated years of diligent service to this company. Even if I haven't earned accolades, I've certainly put in the effort. Are you really going to dismiss me just like that? Don't you fear chilling the hearts of your loyal staff?"

"I'm not scared," Chiang Le chuckled. "A branch office? Please, if Phoenix Real Estate went belly up, I'd shrug it off as a minor setback."

With a smile, Chiang Le fixed his gaze on CEO Zhang. "You're clueless about my net worth. Losing tens of millions in a year? A branch going under? That's a drop in the bucket for me."

"Phoenix Real Estate prides itself on being a cutting-edge company. You can't just sack a vice president without cause. Surely, you owe me an explanation?"

"An explanation? You're demanding one from me? Alright, here's your explanation! Why did you spill my lunch? Tell me, why did you knock over my lunch?" Chiang Le's voice rose, fueled by past indignities, to a roar.

"Why withhold my pay? I've toiled and sweated, hauling cement for a month. That's my blood, sweat, and tears you're messing with!"

"No pay is one thing, but framing me for theft? Accusing me of robbery?"

Chiang Le's long-suppressed fury burst forth. "Thank goodness I'm the indomitable Crown Prince. Had I been just a poor student, you could have ruined my life, couldn't you?"

"You looked down on me before, thinking your high status gave you free rein. Right?" Chiang Le's eyes sparkled with scorn. "Well, I regret to inform you that my status is quite lofty now—loftier than yours. I can do as I please! And that's the only reason I need."

President Zhang was shell-shocked, staring blankly at Chiang Le. After a long pause, he let out a weary sigh.

"Get out," Chiang Le said dismissively, turning his back on the crowd and striding into the once-forbidden building. The security guards, who had previously hounded him, now knelt to open the door with reverence.

Ascending in silence, Chiang Le entered the CEO's office. The chair was plush, the room spacious, its decor tastefully understated, suffused with the subtle scent of Yang Aoxue.

Chiang Le fiddled with a pen, waiting in the tranquil space.

Moments later, the door swung open and Yang Aoxue stepped into the office without a word.

Chiang Le glanced up at Yang Aoxue's ashen face and let out a soft chuckle.

This was the moment he had been eagerly anticipating!

"Arrived, have you?" Chiang Le's voice dripped with scorn as he looked down at her. "There's no need for further humiliation. I'll resign," Yang Aoxue declared, fully aware that crossing the heir apparent of Phoenix Real Estate had sealed the fate of her career.

"Resign? Isn't that a bit too easy?" Chiang Le's smile slowly faded. "You've accused me of being a thief, a robber. You've looked down on me, tormented me, and drove me to the brink of suicide. And you think a mere resignation will suffice?"

"What do you want, then?"

"I intend to ruin you completely!" Chiang Le's voice was icy, sending a chill through Yang Aoxue despite the summer heat.

"My assistant has uncovered your past. Orphaned at a young age, with a father addicted to gambling, you survived on your brother's petty thefts. He's been in and out of detention for theft and brawling. But once you joined Phoenix Real Estate, things took a turn for the better."

"In the corporate world, you soared, and your good fortune lifted your scoundrel of a brother to a contractor's status. Through shady dealings, you've lined his pockets—and yours. The BMW you drive, the mansion you own, all fruits of corruption and embezzlement."

"I may be a spendthrift, but to lay a finger on what's mine, you need my permission. Without it, you can't touch a thing. Whatever you've taken, you'll be regurgitating it all!"

Each word from Chiang Le sliced through Yang Aoxue, leaving her drenched in a cold sweat, her earlier pride and composure nowhere to be found.

"Today, many leaders are present. Those who stayed—you know them well," Chiang Le said with a smirk. "The top detectives from Jiang City's Economic Investigation Bureau are here. My assistant, a Harvard graduate with honors in Finance Management, is among them. No matter how flawless you think your accounts are, I'm confident they'll unearth the evidence of your crimes."

A woman who rose from the slums, a beacon of pride, soared on the wings of her own diligence to the pinnacle of success, only to be cruelly cast back into the dust, facing the grim prospect of imprisonment.

"You'll be left with nothing. The cars, houses, and stocks you own—you'll cough them all up. You're going to spend many years behind bars. And once you're released, believe me, you won't find any work. But with your looks, you could sell yourself; that should keep you afloat. Likely... that'll be your sole option once you're out."

"Your brother, Yang Aomin, however, will have a different fate. Once he's in prison, I'll ensure he gets 'special treatment.' I guarantee he'll end up living a life that's worse than that of swine or dogs."

Chiang Le's words were merciless, echoing the malice of a demon: "Believe me, every word I've spoken will come to pass. I have the power to make it so. This... is the cost of your transgressions against me."

Each phrase struck like a blade of ice, a sword of snow, slicing relentlessly into Yang Aoxue's heart, shattering the resolve of a once indomitable woman.

She knew poverty intimately, the sheer horror of having nothing. The thought of being stripped of everything, forced to endure an existence akin to an animal's, was a fate more torturous than death.

Yang Aoxue shook uncontrollably, tears welling up, her spirit awash with hopelessness.

Her fate hung on Chiang Le's whim.

The pride that once fortified Yang Aoxue crumbled to dust.

Casting one last look at Chiang Le, she collapsed to her knees before him.

"Crown Prince, I was wrong. Forgive me, please spare me. I'll do anything you ask."

As Yang Aoxue knelt, the view of her chest once again caught Chiang Le's gaze.

Her long legs, folded beneath her, possessed a breathtaking, heart-stopping allure.

The CEO, who once carried herself like a queen, now knelt at his feet. The rush of conquest surged through Chiang Le, a thrill like none he had ever felt.

And so... Chiang Le resolved to press his advantage even further.
