The Compendium Pavilion was not a place where one could obtain the martial arts they wanted just by entering. Martial arts were divided into the four ranks of Sky, Earth, Black and Yellow, and were further divided into the elementary, intermediate, and advanced grades.

Most of the martial arts in the Directorate of Imperial Academy Compendium Pavilion were at the dark yellow level
