The first question on the meter-long exam paper read:

"Mr. Li has $1,000 to purchase four routers. Each JCG intelligent wireless router costs $398. After buying them, Mr. Li has $10 remaining. How did he manage the purchase?"

Lin Tao was stumped after reading the question.
