C6 Attacking to Teach Her a Lesson!

Clearly, Ning Feihong regarded Zhang Chen and his companions as nothing more than insignificant mortals, referring to them dismissively as such.

"You're giving me a hard time and then congratulating me on my promotion? Ning Feihong, it seems to me you're just green with envy over my advancement to the Inner Sect!" Zhang Yuner stepped forward and challenged him with a mocking sneer.

At her words, Ning Feihong's expression soured instantly.

He had joined the Ten-thousand Elephants Palace before Zhang Yuner and, being at the Peak of The Master Stage just like her, he too had a shot at becoming an Inner Disciple. However, he never anticipated that Zhang Yuner would be exceptionally promoted, and now he'd have to address her as 'Senior Sister' in future encounters. The thought was more than Ning Feihong could bear.

"Don't get too cocky, Zhang Yuner. You haven't even reached the Energy Master Stage. What's there to be arrogant about? Just wait until I break through and become an Inner Disciple while you're still stuck at the Master Stage. You'll be the one embarrassed then!"

Since Zhang Yuner had decided to drop all pretenses, Ning Feihong saw no reason to hold back either.

With a swift leap onto his horse, Ning Feihong's voice still echoed around them as he galloped away.

"When I reach the Energy Master Stage, you'll be the first I come after. A warning to others!" Zhang Yuner watched Ning Feihong depart without intervening, merely uttering a cold, contemptuous hum.

"These Divine Steeds can soar through the skies, perfect for those who haven't yet achieved the Energy Master Stage. Keep up with me!" With three Divine Steeds remaining, Zhang Yuner instructed Zhang Chen and the others before setting off at the lead.

Zhang Lin and Zhang Jing exchanged glances, each preparing to mount a Divine Steed to follow, seemingly ready to leave Zhang Chen behind.

But sensing their intent, Zhang Chen was quick to action, leaping onto a steed to pursue Zhang Yuner.

"Damn, this kid really doesn't see himself as a servant anymore!" Zhang Jing fumed at the sight.

"Hmph! His arrogance won't last. Let's catch up with them now; we'll settle the score with him later!"

Under Zhang Yuner's guidance, Zhang Chen found himself at the base of a mountain peak. The scene before him was one of verdant greenery, with the constant sound of babbling brooks and waterfalls cascading down, golden fish frolicking in the waters, and a vast expanse of neatly organized medicinal fields in the distance. Above, there was a cluster of buildings crowning the peak, clearly meant for habitation.

The hierarchy within the Ten-thousand Elephants Palace was rigidly enforced. Beyond the ranks of Outer Disciples and Inner Disciples, there were the more formidable core disciples and numerous elders. At the pinnacle stood the Master of the Ten-thousand Elephants Palace and the enigmatic Supreme Elder.

Outer Disciples typically resided communally, whereas Inner Disciples had the privilege of claiming a mountain for themselves, selecting a few Outer Disciples to assist in its upkeep.

Reining in her horse, Zhang Yuner remained mounted as she addressed the newly arrived trio of Zhang Chen, Zhang Lin, and Zhang Jing, "Though Cloud Water Peak may be small, it requires proper management. Moreover, I will soon be attempting to advance to the Energy Master Stage and won't have the time to oversee it. I entrust it to you three."

"Time is of the essence. You may each pick your own dwelling on the outskirts of the peak. Within, you'll find the sect's rules and a primer on Cultivation Techniques for your perusal. I must hurry to Tianshu Mountain for the baptism!" With those final words, Yuner spurred her horse skyward, soaring toward the cloud-wreathed Tianshu Mountain.

Baptism?

Presumably, it was the ceremony marking the formal entry into the Inner Sect. Zhang Chen wasn't entirely familiar with the specifics, but what truly piqued his interest was the mention of the Cultivation Technique!

With this thought in mind, he eagerly anticipated exploring the peak.

"Zhang Chen, from now on, the three of us will rely on you for our daily needs and the maintenance of Cloud Water Peak, including the cultivation of the medicinal fields," Zhang Jing declared with a haughty air. "You're nothing but a lowly servant. If my elder brother hadn't erred so grievously, you wouldn't even have the chance to set foot in the Ten-thousand Elephants Palace!"

"That's right, a servant must know their place! Don't think that just because you've joined the Ten-thousand Elephants Palace, you can forget you're still a servant!" Upon hearing his sister's words, Zhang Lin sneered and stood up.

Zhang Chen had sensed from the moment he had stolen the horse at the mountain gate that these siblings were troublemakers. Now, with Zhang Yuner gone, they wasted no time in seeking him out for conflict.

Back when they were part of the Zhang Family, they were the privileged young masters and mistresses, and he was nothing more than a lowly servant, his status not even on par with that of a household guard. Now that he was suddenly their equal as a registered disciple, it was no wonder they harbored resentment.

"Zhang Lin, Zhang Jing, do you still think we're at the Zhang Family estate? We're all registered disciples now. Why should I obey you?" Zhang Chen took a few steps back, adopting a defensive stance, and couldn't help but challenge them.

Zhang Jing's expression turned even icier upon seeing Zhang Chen's guarded demeanor and his audacity to talk back. "Second Elder Brother, this dog of a servant is exactly as you predicted. He's forgotten his place even after entering the Ten-thousand Elephants Palace!"

"It seems we need to teach him a lesson, to remind him of his place... Hmph!"

With a cold huff, Zhang Lin's muscles tensed as he lunged at Zhang Chen.

At the Martial Warrior Stage, Zhang Lin was adept at contracting his muscles to enhance his explosive power. With swift steps, he closed the distance and launched a lethal punch toward Zhang Chen's chest, employing the formidable killing punch from the Great Strength Bull Demon Fist, which harnessed the momentum of his charge to amplify the strike's power.

Zhang Chen, although also at the Martial Warrior Stage, had never engaged in combat before, and his proficiency in the Great Strength Bull Demon Fist was not as polished as Zhang Lin's.

Yet, as Zhang Lin's punch approached, Zhang Chen stood his ground fearlessly, not even attempting to dodge.

A dull thud resounded as a tremendous force struck. Zhang Lin's fist made direct contact with Zhang Chen's chest.

Witnessing the scene, Zhang Jing couldn't help but smirk coldly, "This is what happens to those who don't listen..."

Bang!

Before Zhang Jing could finish her sentence, another dull thud echoed as Zhang Chen's fist connected with Zhang Lin's body!

"How can this be?"

Zhang Jing's face was a picture of shock, her eyes nearly bulging out of their sockets, as she saw her second elder brother unexpectedly sent flying by Zhang Chen's punch.

She had clearly witnessed Zhang Chen taking a hit from Zhang Lin, yet not only did he seem unscathed, he actually managed to counter with a punch that sent her third elder brother tumbling to the ground.

"Cough, cough, damn it! Since when did this lowly servant become so formidable?" Zhang Lin, clutching his chest and sprawled on the ground, was equally incredulous. He couldn't fathom how his punch had been ineffective, and even more so, how he ended up wounded by Zhang Chen!

In that moment, Zhang Chen came to a realization—the Universe Diagram wrapped around his body had taken effect, his expression alight with elation.

The Universe Diagram truly was a protective charm, capable of completely dissipating the force of Zhang Lin's punch!

"Bone Splitting Hand!" Just as Zhang Chen reveled in his delight, Zhang Jing swiftly launched her attack.

Her delicate palm belied the formidable force behind it. Her fingers splayed, she aimed a strike directly at Zhang Chen's armpit.

Zhang Jing, a practitioner of the Martial Warrior Stage herself, knew that if her strike landed, it could easily dislocate Zhang Chen's arm.

Confronted with Zhang Jing's 'Bone Splitting Hand,' a chill ran through Zhang Chen.

While the Universe Diagram could withstand the raw power of Zhang Lin's punches, it was no match for the intricate technique of Zhang Jing's Bone Splitting Hand, designed to disassemble bones with precision.
