The next day, Chu Tian returned to work.

As he arrived, Lee Shuyi stormed over to his desk. "Is your money ready? Lord Hu wants it back today," she demanded.

Chu Tian gave her a cold look. "Why should I pay? You borrowed the money."

"But the house is for you!" she argued.

"It's your house. Your name is on the deed. We've broken up, so I have no obligation to help you," Chu Tian said dismissively.

Lee Shuyi yelled, drawing everyone's attention. "You're breaking up with me?"

"Just leave me alone," Chu Tian said, frowning.

"What? You're terrible!"

Lee Shuyi continued to shout, causing a scene.

She wanted to break up, but not until the loan was paid; she couldn't afford it otherwise.

Before she could finish, Chu Tian slapped her. "You have no shame," he said.

Lee Shuyi touched her swollen face, incredulous. "You hit me?"

There was another crisp slap!

Chu Tian slapped her other cheek.

Her face immediately swelled, altering her voice.

"What are you doing? This is too much," she said.

Others in the office chimed in, "Why did you hit her? Are you crazy?"

A few people close to Lee Shuyi blamed Chu Tian, but he silenced them with a glare.

The men in the office gave him silent approval.

Just then, the boss walked in. "What's going on here? You can't beat up colleagues. Do you want to lose your job?"

"I hit her. Does that bother you? What's going on between you two? Want to tell everyone?" Chu Tian mocked.

"What do you mean?" Director Zhu turned red as he spoke.

"You know what I mean! Leave!"

Chu Tian frowned and growled.

Director Zhu looked surprised. Chu Tian had been acting strange lately, but he wasn't scared. He was the boss here.

Chu Tian, why are you acting like this? I'm just concerned about my staff. You're being rude," said Director Zhu, sounding irritated.

"Security, come and remove this unruly person!"

On Director Zhu's command, security guards rushed in with electric batons.

Hutai Group is a big, well-known company with strict security. All guards have electric batons to handle troublemakers.

Seeing this, a few of Chu Tian's friendly colleagues tried to intervene.

"Chu Tian, what's wrong? You can't talk to the boss like that."

"Yes, Chu Tian, apologize now. This is serious."

Another person pleaded, "Director Zhu, Chu Tian didn't mean to offend you. Please, let it go."

Director Zhu looked down at everyone and said, "Chu Tian, I'm giving you a chance. Kneel and apologize to me and to Lee Shuyi, or else..."

"Or else what? You're not worth kneeling to," Chu Tian scoffed.

"You're asking for it! Security, arrest him!" Director Zhu yelled.

"Chu Tian!" His friends yelled out in concern.

But Chu Tian ignored them.

'It's just an electric baton. How can it hurt me?'

'Even if I'm weakened, ordinary people can't harm me.'

The security guard activated the electric baton, and blue sparks flew out.

The security guard smiled maliciously and said, "Why resist? You could've avoided pain. You're despicable!"

These security guards, like Director Zhu, often bullied Chu Tian.

Chu Tian couldn't do anything because Director Zhu supported them.

Now that Chu Tian has returned from his spiritual journey, he sees these bullies as worthless.

The guard stabbed Chu Tian with the electric baton right after speaking.

A slight zap was heard, then Director Zhu fell and lay still.

Saliva dripped from Zhu's mouth, and a bad smell came from his crotch.

Director Zhu was now unconscious.

The guards and colleagues stared at Chu Tian in disbelief. The high voltage had no effect on him. Was he human?
